    I've painted my entire sofa set and it looks outstanding! It does tougen up the fabric some,which is great if you have multiple pets (and a not so unmessy husand!). My cats can't claw it to shreds,lol.

    I AM SUPER GRATEFUL I CAME ACROSS YOUR VID. Alot of the vids online are re-upholstery or American.
    First off I want to say, your sofas were squeaky clean compared to mine!
    I bought my sofa 6 years ago, its a corner recliner suite without cushions which can be removed, but the seats can come apart. After watching your vid i'm super excited to give it a go.
    My sofa is a corduroy beigey brown colour. Going for a medium to dark grey colour. ITS GOING TO takes ages but im determined to have it done before summer.
    Thank you, for the vid, everything has been explained crystal clear. Wish me luck and il defo give you a thumbs up.

      I have a couple questions.
      Where did you get the paint? Is it available from store like Wickes,b n q etc?
      And
      Does it have to be chalk paint?

    What a great idea!...I am switching my colors from brown to light grey and I have a recliner that I'd like to keep. I googled to see if there was a way to change the color of a fabric recliner and that's how I found you! Can't wait to try it! Thanks.

  • @Ginistrash
    @Ginistrash 2 роки тому

    Hello😊 your sofa turned out absolutely gorgeous!
    I wonder if you can help me, I also painted a sofa, with the same technique, it looks really nice but if you sit on it it's super dusty and you have paint on your body. I don't want to sand the last coat because the sanding removes the brightness of the color, and I don't want to wax it because I like the way the fabric feels right now.
    Do you have any ideas or tricks on how I can make that sofa usable after painting it?

    • @ZaraMichaela
      @ZaraMichaela  2 роки тому +1

      Hi Georgina, thank you. Aww sorry your having this issue. I do think it's down to you not sanding if enough previously tho, or the paint mixture may have been to thick. Apart from sanding I don't know what else to suggest I'm sorry. Wax would probably work but it turns it more into a leather then if you get me. Sorry I can't be of more help. I hope you find something that works zxx
