- Quest 3, Quest 2, PCVR games - the best of the best in virtual reality may not be what you think. Whether you play on a Quest 2, a Quest 3, a Valve Index, a Playstation VR 1 or 2, the debate over what makes a game or experience great rages on and on! Here, we'll dive into the big question: "DOES SIZE MATTER?"
Be sure to chime in with your thoughts in the comments - I will respond to ever comment that comes in!

I LIKE YOUR WAY OF SPEECH......I CAN SEE THAT YOUR ENJOYMENT WHILE PRESENTATION...YOU ARE LOVING YOUR VR WORLD....I AM FAN OF YOU FROM NOW ON FROM INDIA
Couldn’t agree more! I’m hoping we get VR versions of existing stories - imagine actually going through the wardrobe to Narnia, being a character in LOTR or crossing through a Stargate! 17:25
Great thoughts there - LOTR, Narnia, Stargate - all could have great experiences, even if short ones!
Definitely feeling like a kid again w quest 3. Lots of fresh experiences to have.
YES!!! It makes me feel that way as well, as you can probably tell. I love the feeling of awe and wonder nearly every time I put on that headset. Great to hear this!
Got a good deal on a quest 3 the clarity is amazing & is better then quest 2 even though most Games don't show it yet
I was really pleased with what a great upgrade the Quest 3 really was. I don't see myself EVER going back to fesnel lenses again, the pancake lenses are so much better.....
One thing that brings me hope is that developers in the VR scene seem to be aware of this quality over quantity, even though the opposite has been plaguing flat screen gaming for years.
Btw, I still gotta try Form on Steam, it has been on my wishlist for ages and you have recommended it before. The shortest game that wondered me way above its pricetag was A Fisherman's Tale, but experiences like The Utility Room are gems of independent devs out there.
Still holding on for Wanderer remaster, and excited for The Behemoth, wishing I may have spare time to play any of them, 😂
So looking forward to both Behemoth and Wanderer REMASTER (played the original, and enjoyed it so much) - and A Fishman's tale is one I still have to play! I know! I can't believe that one has slipped by, especially since I do own it, it just got lost in an onslaught of games at one point, and I didn't go back to play it. I need to do that!
@@jollyjulian By the games you said that you have enjoyed, I think you will like it. It is not a puzzle game made to be hard per see, but the way the mechanics work both gameplay wise and visually... it is something you could hardly achieve on flatscreen. Wolf in the Walls is another one I should give a try, looks really special.
You bet! Thank you for that suggestion, for sure, and it's jumped up my list to play for sure!
I’m with ya man, I’d rather have a 3hr banger, most games that are over 10hrs I’m like “is it over yet” I just wanna beat this shyt lol
You know, I've had that feeling myself before too! Actually having TOO MUCH of a "good" thing, and feeling like it was starting to get stagnant or repetitive. I feel like one of the best things developers can do is figure out what the "RIGHT" length for their game or experience is. Great point!
Having a freaking blast with iron man on quest 3
I need to play that one yet! I've not tried it, and I've heard it's so much fun! Glad you're enjoying it!
Hey Julian could you post a list of some short games that you love here? Form and Astra are on my radar to. Another recomendations?
Depending on definition of "short," some of my other favs are: the I EXPECT YOU TO DIE games, WESTWORLD AWAKENING, STAR TREK BRIDGE CREW (although it has been abandoned by UBISOFT, and doesn't run well anymore), The ROOM VR (not super short, but not too long either) - those are some to start with for sure! Hope that helps.
Actually, I am planning to buy the Quest 3 this month. However, the issue is not about money; the Quest 3 has not been officially launched in India. We Indians are feeling very disappointed with Mark. After hearing that the Quest 3 was launching, we expected it to be available in India, but Mark has not launched it here. Why hasn’t he launched it in India?
Truthfully, if he had really thought that this technology should reach all people, he would have given it to everyone... but he didn’t do that. He believes that money is important, so he’s launched this technology in places where he can get money. That’s where he’s making a profit.
ACTUALLY I AM PLANNING TO BUY QUEST 3 BY THIS MONTH.. BUT THE PROBLEM IS MONEY DOES NOT MATTER...THEY DID NOT LAUNCH QUEST 3 OFFICEIALLY IN INDIA...WE INDIANS ARE FEELING VERY BAD ABOUT MARK....AFTER HEARD QUST 3 IS LAUNCHIN WE WERE EXPECTING THAT WILL BE LAUCH IN INDIA BUT MARK DID NOT......WHY HE DID NOT LAUNCHED IN INDIA
everyone hitman 3 is coming to quest standalone !
I just saw that today as well - very cool! I'm interested to see if they can pull that one off well, and have good VR controls for some of the actions in the game!
