Scariest VR Experiences EVER - Only For The HARD-CORE! These Will Terrify Nearly ANYONE!

- VR Quest users, PCVR users, PSVR2 users - if you want to be scared, if you want something that will guarantee to terrify you beyond what you thought possible, these 5 experiences will go above and beyond! No joke, these experiences (and games) scared me WAY more than I expected, as I don't scare easily, in or out of virtual reality. And these scares are good YEAR ROUND, so check them out right now. If you don't get scared out of your wits in them, you pass the test as "TOUGHEST IN VR!"

Scariest for me was resident evil biohazard when you’re trying to escape that crazy family that was a wicked and scary experience. I played all the way through. Had to keep taking the headset off lol
Oh man - that is another GREAT one, and very easily could have been on my list. In VR, with the mod, all that stuff with the family inside that huge house - scary as hell! I've started playing through RE8 Village in VR as well - scary stuff!

...i was terrified by the flatscreen version of subnautica!! the dark depth alone!!
It really did a great job of capturing that feeling of being in the dark depths, and not near the surface where "safe" is. Even with the slightly cartoonish and alien world, really great stuff! Thanks much....

@@fattyjaybird7505 yea, its not the best port, but it´s working, it comes with the flatscreen version, but it´s actually too scary for me in vr, i might try it thou just 4 fun :)
(have tried it already shortly on my old htc vive, but on the quest it could be insane)

In to the Radius - goosebump king for me! that atmosphere, mind-blowing.
Nice - I own that game, but have not had a chance to play it yet! I'll need to load that one up. Never thought of the spooky atmosphere it might have, so that will be a good one to try. Thanks for heads-up on that one.
haha yeah, puts my nervous system into flight/fight mode that game, especially in the heat of the moment scrambling through your backpack trying to find that last bit of ammo hands shaking and dropping everything lol

Huge props for trying these games, I can barely play Subnautica in flatscreen, so that is a hard pass for me.
I think the major factor for some of the horror games is leaving you powerless against an enemy you just can't fight back. And I knew that Alien Isolation would be your top pick, even though it is modded, there is nothing else that tops that atmosphere and tension, I respect your determination.
Yeah, it was hard for me to think of anything that matched the fantastic terror of Alien Isolation, both in scares, and atmosphere. So great. And Subnautica - I'm so glad it was one of my first early on. It really sucked me, and scared the crap out of me with that leviathan! Thanks for the comment!

Love that! And you would know more than most, as I know you play a lot of different and unique horror games! And Madison VR is on my radar for sure, so I will have to check that one out. My favorite horror film ever !!!
Long time ago I play on old Intel PC (2D) and I could not play a long time of scary !! Now I have a quest 3 since few weeks !!
AND we will have this year an Alien for exclusive the quest 3 ! I am scary just to write it !! 😂

Few nice experiences that I would add to this is Red Matter 1&2 and FNAF Help Wanted 1&2.
I think I still remember my first Nope moment. It was early days with og vive and game was early version of The Brookhaven Experiment and if I remember right it had only one level that time and it was outside center of the park in night and there was zombies incoming. (Or I remember game wrong but setting should be that.) It was just too creepy atmosphere.
Love this! Yeah, I am embarrased to say that I have not played RED MATTER yet. I know! Crazy - I need to get those added to my wishlist so I can get them. I have so many games I have purchased and not played yet. Looking forward to them all. And scary games in VR are some of my favorites, as you saw. FNAF - have to try that in VR! Yes!
Into the Radius (surprised this isn't on the list already), Exorcist: Legion (older but still solid) and recently released Silent Breath. all of those are very solid titles.
Great shout out for RADIUS - only reason it's not on here is probably due to me having not played it yet. I know, I need to fix that, for sure! I hear it's a fantastic game! As for Silent Breath, I'll have to look into that one. Read a little about it, but have not tried it.... YET! Thanks for the recommendations!

You should try the new game SILENT SLAYER VAULT OF THE VAMPIRE. It is a one the few horror game that really makes me jump and scream. Basically a puzzle game, where you solve puzzles to open the coffins of sleeping vampires to slay them with a steak in the heart, of course. Lol
Okay - this is good. I've been eyeing this one for a while, and I have such a back-log of experiences I have purchased but not had time to do yet, so I haven't gotten this one yet. But I plan to! This sounds so unique, cool, and MADE for VR!
@@jollyjulian My backlog is crazy also but I like that studio Schell Games, I believe? Their, I Expect You To Die series 1-3 are all amazing and a good time. So basically any VR game from them is an instant purchase to support them from me.
Also I always recommend WILSON'S HEART to other VR enthusiasts. It's an Oculus exclusive just a wonderful psychological classic Universal Horror throwback theme game, it like being in a Universal Horror film. It's a VR classic from 2017. The only one negative with that game I have is the teleport only movement. It gets a pass on that for the quality of the game. Pretty sure they're unable to update the game movement mechanics because of original structure for the game to function. Great quality voice acting from Peter Weller/Robocop, Micheal B Jordan, Paul Reubens/Pee Wee RIP to him and others. WILSON'S HEART only available from the Oculus PC app store, PCVR only, greatly and highly recommended.
I have heard good things about Wilson's Heart! I will need to check that one out.... as with most, not a fan of teleport only, but still - some games can still be great even with that stipulation.
Hellblade VR was a good one too
