My personal favourite would be "The Mortal Beam". Since my last playthrough was as a cleric, the Rifles are for me. Not a single Monster survives my halfautomatic 3 shot burst. When I go full automatic, they don't even know what hit them. It took me some time to get to the stats required in order to use it, but it was totally worth it.
First time playing through and my character build is all over the place. I abandoned bows early on since most enemies seemed to shrug off even the explosive arrows or bolts when I found a crossbow. I ended up working towards energy weapons since a one time upgrade bought Lazer rifles to 70 hit points and with burst settings of 3 or 5 shots you can finally wipe out those pesky ED-209 looking robots!
As an FYI for others, there are 3 bows of differing strengths, War bow 3 requires 78dex 56str for 120 dmg, Hunting 3 73/52/108, cultivator 3 69/46/93. To go from Cultivator 3 to War bow 3 requires 57 attribute points which is either 6 levels or tons of elex drinks. You might want to consider upgrading all 3 as you collect the points and using the one that has the best stats for which you can equip. Damage works differently in PB games from other typical games. Higher level enemies absorb damage until you reach a threshold. Once you pass the threshold you can start doing damage to them. For that reason a 70 damage bow may tickle a troll. A 120 damage bow will tear away 1/3 its health.
a little tip from me. with 50 inteligence you can also learn the perk more skill points, so that you get 11 per level. this can be combined well with your build at the beginning and is suitable for players who want to play without Elex potions.
Thank you for this tutorial. Very much exactly what I was looking for since I'm aiming to become an archer. I might have been interested in the Clerics' ranged weapons, their 'rifles', but this being my first play-through using a bow is what I know how to do from other games, so I figure it's a solid way to start out but really needed some tips and some info about attribute points and skill points.
Absolutely correct. Warbow III is ridiculous with the right skills, and I can destroy any enemy in 3 or less shots (so far). It’s so strong I’d think it can potentially ruin your gameplay, it’s a little too powerful tbh
The game is pretty hard at the beginning. If i remember correctly you want to get enough points to equip a decent weapon like the War Bow and soon after the War Bow II. Animal trophy is nice too so you can make money while defeating monsters.
I disagree on many accounts. A melee weapon eventually does so much more damage with the combo counter and executes.120 dmg sounds a lot but you simply stating the end value without considering actual dps (shots take time, and they can miss) and utility (plasma rifle emp, flamethrower blast, etc). Just to use War Bow 0 you need to have stats above the first doubling of stat costs which means your early levels will find you gimped from lacking useful skills since you wont have the stats for the prerequisites. Yeah you can use Cultivator or hunting bow, but why bother? Plasma Blaster PLS-C can be grabbed out in the world as early in the game as you can grab your jetpack and it comes with emp and plasma ball. at 32dex and 26 int its useful almost straight away considering you need more than those stats to unlock Animal trophies 2 and Chemistry (must if you want to boost your hp and stamina early, which everyone in the know does).
For me its faster to get the Int Dex and use Laser and Plasma Rifles. This way you get your Animal Trophy to 3 and also 100 Damage Laser Rifle where you can use 5 Shots to get much higher DPS. This all you gonna reach at level 12 without using any Elex Pots ofc. Cause they are cheat^^.
They don't do anything so I just don't even bother placing them lol. At level 25 I crafted enough Elex drinks to equip my stuff. Now im around level 43 I think... so the points just keep piling up!
Not that I am aware of. Only thing I have heard is that if you shut down the converters the respawn can stop. In my game I always had respawned mobs even after doing all the quests. I got a farming guide here... this is from chapter 1. I show how to respawn the mobs by sleeping. ua-cam.com/video/PHPCPf9_X1A/v-deo.html
The way you do not capitalize the first letter of a sentence, and then add a question mark when it is a statement and not a question makes me angry for some reason.

Agree the mortal beam is the best weapon in the game. Also ammo is easy to loot from machines.
Agreed.

Good idea. I noticed this in Elex 2 and was thinking about it's value. Thanks for the comment.

Helpful tip for new elex players: get the chemistry perk ASAP, that way you can craft Elex drinks to boost your attribute pts.
Great tutorials for Elex. Thanks from the 62 yo guy.😀😀
War Bow with Cleric +50 Range weapon dmg spell or as Outlow with double dmg stim ist a killer. Berserk is an melee killer with +50 melee weapon spell
I'm level 14, but I've been oriented on becoming a Berserker ( just got it ) to get magic. Probably a mistake.
What’s the best weapon at the beginning of the game and where to find it?? Thanks
redeemer shoots straight and flamethrower has nice aoe knocback, also good
The Redeemer is my fav weapon of the game! so op with explosion shots!
I need a video to how use attribute points at beginning

@@Kuposaur i found another way I found a glitch that let me buy natural elex and make elex drink with it and increase my attributes

Sure in a 1v1. Problem with these games is when there is more than 1 monster melee is very difficult. Some people enjoy it either way.

148 attribute pts ! ?? how's that?

do mobs respawn or not cause i am getting mixed data on this?
Yes mobs respawn. Most mobs respawn after 2 days of sleeping.
wasnt it nerfed or patched in some versions of the game?

What difficulty setting are you playing?
I generally just play on easy mode. I've done all modes but for now just easy. i've beaten the game 4 times I think.
heh, ok. I've just started my first run - on the 4th difficulty. Don't seem viable to try to damage foes myself... like at ALL :)
Rocket Lancher 3 is 126 Damage.
the way you say attribute made me angry for some reason?

RangerHawk
lol
Good one, RangerHawk. lol
Brandon Mur,
how do you pronounce the word 'melee'? ;)
He did split it up like a toddler, that is how children learn words.
@@rangerhawk you're my hero Mr power ranger hawk?
