Very nice. For the valve seals I Just got some from gsc but they are all the same size. I heard that the exhaust ones are supposed to be slightly bigger ?
Yeah the intake and exhaust valve stems have different part numbers, I couldn’t even tell a difference by looking at them. I did notice some companies will sell the whole set as if they are all the same, fell pro surprisingly sells the set and has them labeled intake and exhaust. Honestly I think it will be fine they are all the same size
Also when I do the seals my plan is to use the rope method then once I'm done bring the crane back around clockwise to TDC . Then run through the torque sequence on the cams until they are at TDC ...then I should be able to put belt back in and be good . Correct ?
Gaskets used in-between exhaust manifold and cylinder head are likely going to blow out. I would run OEM Toyota MLS or aftermarket MLS gaskets instead.
@theallrounder1000 no way, when I ordered mine there was like 4 left in the country, did you order the 98 version? I believe it’s the only year pre tapped for the VVTI
So the valve covers bolt on no mods? I thought one bolt doesn’t line up?
Awesome Content as usual!
Thank you!

Thank you 🙏
I need to get a job at Toyota or Lexus if they let me do all of this to my car 😂
That employee pricing on parts helps too 😅
@@BoBuilds I'm jealous 😏 Lol

Thank you
Good shit dude
Thanks 🙏
Bro I care. Also did you end up painting the block?
Lol thanks bro, so the block came in the original black paint all I did was clear coat over the factory coating. It’s super glossy and more durable
@@BoBuilds I got a block coming in from Toyota soon too. Keep the videos going. Interested to see how your build turns out.

@@BoBuilds it’s the same part number but I’ve been a while. I’ll know when I get it I guess
I just got the block in. I think since it was newly produced, they all come tapped for vvti
It seems like you know what you’re doing, you should be a mechanic

Thank You 6 😢🎉😂 0:49
No kidding
That 45 angle looks way too wide
What would a wide 45 angle cause or be bad for?
I could swore you said the head was sent to a machine shop..if so that's was piss poor.
I just asked them to resurface it
@@BoBuilds ok boss my bad...
