Definitely going to get this kit and the COP conversion kit once I have the time and money to continue my SC build!
Haha, it gets faster each time you take the front of the engine. A quick piece of advice is to put the head on before you drop in the ARP head studs, if you put them in first you will need to pull them back out as the wasters won't fit on.
Been running this kit over a year now daily driving. Only feedback or changes i would suggest is a way to actually clip that dizzy plug in instead of the zip tie. Car would shut off while driving. Had it towed home and poked sround and found the heat had destroyed the zip tie, so it was making intermittent contact. Great bit of kit and works really well. Never had any other issue with this kit.
Hi Jay, thanks for the feedback, I really do appreciate it and love that you daily drive it. I think you must have the early connector which was a modified item. Now it runs a genuine connector and no longer needs the zip tie. The connector was extremely hard to source and didn't exist when I first developed the kit.

Yes, while I haven't actually tried the manifolds onto a 1JZ-GE vvti or non vvti, I have studied photos and it seems they are the same cast as the 2jz-ge but hey have slightly smaller ports and less squish room in the combustion cambers around the valves for higher compression than the non vvti 2jzge. The exhaust pattern is the same though and that means the manifold should be interchangeable.
Been watching your stuff for a while and love the stuff youre doing. But to clarify if I bought the crank and cam kit and coil on plug kit, I would not be able to run the GE Ecu? Is that correct?
Hello mate, yes, you cannot use the GE ECU to run anything at all. It only has one ignition trigger output and would fire all coils at the same time. The fuel map is completely wrong as well, so it is no good for running boost. You need to run either a stock GTE ECU or any aftermarket ECU is the best option.

one question I have this kit but my engine have an emu black aftermarket ecu and don't know what to do with the to cables you want me to connect to the stock ecu please let me know what can I do with that

Hello Steven, I actually thought it was the other way round. I drove 3 hours to pick up a GTE intake manifold for you, which I paid $370AUD out of my own pocket. I still have it siting here. I have done postage and ready to send but I didn't hear back from you. Do you still want this or not?

Is your EMU Black a plug n play to the factory harness Efrain?
