- (Something I keep seeing some of you commenting is how you don't have the Free Rewards button, and there is a reason for this. It hasn't come out yet technically. They sent this feature out early to PC NA players as testing. Once the feature is complete, most likely, everyone will have this feature as well)
This was suppose to be a lot shorter of a video, but I got pretty passionate about the subject, so now the video is 15 minutes. I'm not gonna lie, this script was written in 2 hours right after I saw this update.

im a huge collector too. i collect cards, games, in-game items and accesories and much more and i feel you when it dosent seem fun to watch your account grow guadually as you buy, earn and win prizes like skins and colours in brawlhalla. i agree that this is a great edition to brawlhalla but now it just feels too easy.

It would be cool to have a sort of "collection" system where collecting every legend with a certain weapon, matching weapons, or levelling legends to the same level would give you new colours, skins, and specific weapon skins.
For example you could collect all the scythe legends in the game, and get a special scythe skin, or collect every legend with bow aswell, and get both a special bow skin and a munin crossover since munin has scythe and bow.
So, for $20 you just get them all? How about getting like, 5 legends of a certain weapon to lv25(just an example) grants an exclusive weapon skin
Good idea but i think it would be hard to do that when adding new characters with similar weapons , say u got all lance players , then brawlhalla comes out with a new lance character
@@josephTukana It could still work, for example runescape, the completionist title is gone with every update they do(almost) and it still works for the people who want the title, they just get the title again. (in this case wep skins).

The system is still in testing, so it technically hasn't come out yet. For when it does, it'll be brought to every region hopefully, along with other platforms.

Love the editing, and you make a great point. Earning cosmetic by actually playing the game is more rewarding than just watching videos
I feel you on this one, I’ve been playing a while and I’ve recently moved out to college with a new pc and I’ve been playing brawl. But with no money I’ve been using the reward system and it hasn’t been treating me well at all, honestly even giving players mammoth coins or small packages for new ranks or milestones could be a good addition but love the video dude!

this is actually pretty informative and yes I do agree with the increeeeeeeeeeeeedibly outdated level and progression system of brawlhalla. i really do wish BMG started mordernising some of the mechanics like their public playlists. Instead of only having FFA,Strikeout,Friendly 2s and Experimental,how about add in more permanent gamemodes like 3v3,crew battle,streetbrawl hell even fucking bubble tag I guess. Brawlhalla has sooo many cool gamemodes yet most are locked behind custom rooms and limited time modes which don't even help with daily missions or bp missions.
Great point on the reward system. I never even thought about rewards when playing matches. It was mostly elo and having fun, but with a greater reward system, there will be a greater incentive for players to keep playing the game. Good vid!
I think it's a great idea to reward with some kind of reward every few games. I like your idea of a chest. This could go far in expanding the player base
It makes me fell better watching an ad and giving them money than just watching a regular video that I've (probably) already watched more than once.

I agree that Brawlhalla's reward system is lacking. There's no incentive past getting a legend to level 25. It'd be nice if they dropped legend exclusive skins or colors for levels 50 and 100.

You see, I came back to Brawl recently. I played since 2016, but stopped when they inser the dash and Jiro to the game. Back then, I had all the "exclusives" colors, I had all the characters (that I bought by playing, I didn't buy the package). Even the v1 Community Colors were rare. Now, Brawlhalla have the Battle Pass skins and colors (and we can't even get all the colors when we full level the free version). I lost a bunch of things, things that I will never have again. For more examples: the black and green color, I played with all the legends when it released (I went back to the game just to get all'em), and then they just gave a code that give this same color scheme for every character released and every character that will release. I don't have it. I only got the colors that we could farm back then, so if I'm not wrong, it ended with Thor's color.
Great video you are super underrated. I hope BMG can add a new currency in BH that can only be obtained by grinding the game and once in a while can be used to get rare colours/skins. I think that's the best way they can make it so that you feel like you actually get something out of grinding. Hope BMG see this video, lots of good points. Keep the work up!

I actually had an idea about this a long time ago, and I called it "Item of the Week".
(Though I'm sure there's a much better method than this, but this is how mine works.)
A random item is selected and you'd have to complete a set of quests to obtain it.
Once you do, you'll have to wait for the next week for another random item to be selected.
There's also "Items of the Month" which has you completing even more quests, but you gain 3 items rather than one; this works more or less the same than "Item of the Week".
(The Devs can also place ads before you fully obtain the item/items afterwards so they can still earn profit.)
I'm sure a few people would like this idea, but not all will agree.

I gotta agree, the reward systems are pretty trash, I played F2P for about 2, months, till I got bored, I barely got new things, apart from the level up colours, or those few items you get from the free battle pass, the only reason I keep playing is because I like the game, and spent a few bucks for some cool stuff, the free rewards had no play in keeping me, as a player, from playing the game
I was discussing this topic just the other day with my friend and something I noticed is the lack of rewards for levelling up your account
I don't know if it is just me, but I got level 100 after spending A THOUSAND hours in this game and I don't even got anything for achieving that, at least not something that I remember of right now
And the same goes for leveling up legends
Me and my friend came up with the idea of getting some sort of exclusive skin for getting level 50 or 100, or maybe even a chest that gets you a random skin or color of that legend
That, in my opinion would be cool
In regard of the community feels small; I agree.
Of the 3 years I've been playing this game, I haven't met a single person that plays the game regularly like me ( At least on the internet AND in person )
I've only met people who only have heard of the game or, played it, like, twice to never ever play again
Other thing in that regard is how the Brawlhalla big tournaments is ( as I'm aware of ) rarely discussed or seen on mainstream, that is, comparing to other big games of the genre
You really gotta be on this " niche " community to find people or channels like yours to find this kind of people, and I don't really know the reason for that, maybe the game seems a bit too silly like made for kids and people don't take seriously the game
Well, having a special skin for getting Level 50 would be a lot of work for the devs. Skins are the hardest to make due to the amount of assets. Something special would be neat, but I feel a whole skin might be too much.
As for the community bit, I'm glad I am not alone on that thought process. I think people leaving this game too fast is due to a combination of a bunch of different reasons. The game's tutorial sucks, the rewarding is bad, features are almost always made for newer players (but they won't make a new tutorial), there is a lot of reasons, but I think you get my point.

I've been playing this game F2P since I started playing and I have never EVER spent a single cent on it, and it sucks
The only cosmetics I got a chance to get is legend color and skins for legends I don't play thanks to garbage Twitch rewarding system, also the ranked currency thingy
What I'm trying to say is how BH lacks in reward system
I feel there's absolutely nothing in this game that feels worthy to grind for cause there's none
I got all achievements and got nothing;
I reached level 100 and got nothing;
Legend level 100, nothing;
Got all legends unlocked, nothing;
( When I say nothing means I don't remember the rewards, therefore, I don't think is worth to get if I don't even remember the reward itself )
Even ranked currency sucks, all you got is some not too nice looking weapon skins, not too nice looking colors, some f*cking cringe emojis and those mad expensive frames or whatever the name is
Seasonal events is even worse, all I can get is colors that don't even look nice with some legends
Also, the only thing that displays your " experience " with the game is those stupid titles, and even those feels worthless to get
I feel like there's nothing that truly displays how much hours you've put into the game, something that you can tell the guy is really good for having it aside from ranked frames
ALSO, I don't even remember well how I got avatars, but all of them sucks ( at least the ones I got ) I just stick with the default avatar since the other ones I have is " bad ", it's been like that for years

You did make really good points. I agree with the play more = earn more system. It would be really nice to have some maybe weird or special items for some weird or special things.
However I think the level system is fine...to some point. The rewards are super trash but I like the level 100 system. It gives you a finish line, where you can feel the accomplishment. I feel like if you made it unlimited it would feel worthless. There would be people who would feel sad because someone has level 150 legend while you only lvl 100. This system looks like solid thing for me. And if you want to grind more a be better you get the titles. It would be nice to see titles for legend levels as well (after reaching lvl 100) but not removing the max lvl cap. I fell like this would remove the feeling hat you mastered a legend and are really one of the best with that legend.

some possible features they could add are:
- reaching legend level milestones (ex. 100) grants you the ability to select a skin for that legend to unlock (level 100 would be able to unlock battle pass and/or chest-exclusive skins) so f2p players can drip out their main without having to spend money
- during seasonal events, there can be missions similar to battle pass missions where doing certain amounts of those would unlock different types of lootcrates dropping weapon skins, titles, etc. and the final lootcrate would drop an event-exclusive character skin

Why thank you. I use Cyberlink Powerdirector 16. It's a solid software, but I'd recommended something better if you could get one. And I use FireAlpaca to make assets for the videos.

the rewards from leveling up and ranking up are pretty bad and aren't worth the time to get them
they could make new, special and not-generic missions to get cool and maybe even exclusive rewards, like a free battlepass

i completely agree, this is the only game that's mobileish in ways to earn. there are 3 types of players; fun, competitive, and collection. competitive is updated each patch with weapon/technical changes. for fun players don't really need updates as it's just by playing the game in their free time, that it's satisfactory enough. but collection players are left out. you mentioned basically everything is stale, and i agree. with 25 legend levels being the end of rewards with the black color scheme, and account/ and legend level 100 is just something to grind for. it doesn't give anything to collectors.
BMG should add these changes, as i feel it would see a lot of returning players. the most popular games/companies follow this format and are successful because of it. the Call of Duty franchise, Rockstar Games, Apex Legends, R6, are just some examples. I hope BMG does see this as an opportunity, and implements this in some sort of way.

i think that 95% of all players actually real players- they just downloaded the game because its free then play like 1 hour per week playing ffa and falling into sig spamming. it seems that everyone i know has seen the game but never really played it. i too was once like that then i decided to search brawlhalla on youtube. now im mid gold

when I first started playing like 2018 I didnt even touch online it was just me and my 3 buddies fighting eachother 24/7, and honestly I miss that those times were way better than brawlhalla for me rn.

as someone that owns more than half of all the skins and crossovers, the ability to get even more for free is just a cool little feature imo
honestly ive always felt like the game needed progression skins that changes over time the higher the level goes example at legend lvl 50 you will get a skin that progressive change and get more epic as time goes on and once you hit a milestone you would have to complete certain quest to unlock set skin.

ive been getting ads when watching the videos i think there were alot more of the brawlhalla videos in the beginning becasue they didnt have anyone advertising yet, but even despite that good video a fun watch good quality
WE each have different views, people who have obviously grinded a lot in this game (In case, this is you FoxxNoodles) who dislike the fact that beginners can gain as much as the people who actually try this game. I think this is what you were trying to say. Every time when a character levels up, the rewards have always been a bit stingy but again, beginners don't see it that way. I fully understand this situation but most players are happy and this ''benefits'' all people. Just let it be lol

7:46 I agree with you. The community for the game feels significantly smaller than the numbers. I think that’s because most of the players for the game are just kids playing with their friends spamming Orion side sig back and forth. I feel like Brawlhalla has plenty plenty of those players, but no one really sticks with the game because spamming gets boring and they probably drop the game when actually learning the game gets too difficult. Learning a combo is really quite the grind, and the first time to develop that muscle memory skill is pretty hard. Especially when you don’t have other games that include similar concepts that require muscle memory like Brawlhalla
5:00 (I think that’s the time stamp.) I actually like the mallhalla rewards feature. Now they do make a profit off of it, because they have advertisements on it. The big thing I don’t like is that they put avatars in the prize pool. Emotes are cool, because you can interact with other players through them. Weapon and legend skins are awesome rewards, because you can change up something you might be tired of seeing. But an avatar? Avatars don’t provide much, and I already have the one I’d like to use for a really long while. What I’m saying is just that most of the rewards are small stuff that just dilute the good rewards.

I find the level 50 rewards to be okay. They're all the same blue, which ruins it for me. It's another set of titles, and every accomplishment is given a title, so I can barely show off anything.
As for the Level 100 Rewards, I like them. Yeah, they could be a bit better, but your legend's name being yellow everywhere, even in-game is awesome. I do wish it was more Gold than Yellow, but I still find the reward very unique and sick.
I agree with your points, however when you earn items in games it makes it seem like it's every other game. Overtime peopel would expect it and would grind and grind to get the one skin they would want to get. After that they would just go back to playing the game and would eventually stop playing because they would've already gotten the thing they wanted. Additionally I find Brawlhalla is in a good way, the devs should try and add something that would keep brawl the same but make it good to gain players. Brawl is good in it's own way its not really like other fighting games. The game is good in its own way but there is something that the game is missing it needs a huge update.
I just finished 25 ads for the teros doodle avatar, at least i didn't only get gold, you can't even watch 50 ads consecutively. Also I had the option to watch ads awhile ago, a few days ago when i played it was gone. Today it was back.

Tbh i just play to kick ass, never cared too much about skins, item, BP, i just bought some and this BP to support brawlhalla and blue mammoth
i cannot stress enough how instead of making use of items you purchase free, they could kill 2 birds with one stone by making free cosmetics out of legend levels
for example, make it so when you get to level 50 with a legend you get a mastery skin that 'evolves" (like a progression skin) once you reach level 100

The videos that you can watch to earn are actually ads so brawlhalla does make money. But I do agree playing brawl should be how you earn and not watching random ads

I think that item shop items should cost coins as well so you have options, but have every item cost TONS AND TONS of coins (maybe around 5-10k depending on the item) that way it would be easier to straight up just buy them with mammoth coins

I agree, however I think that maybe you can earn mammoth coins in a similar way to glory. Off your ranked and wins #. It won’t be too much so people don’t get everything for free but people who play the game a lot can get some free items.

I totally agree with some things, like how they dont give us enough rewards but it is nice to get some rewards because i dont have enough money to buy something usually (im one of the younger kids) ive been saying to my friends you should get a skin but they cant because they dont have money, so i thinks its good and bad.

make so every time you reach 10lvl in one leggend you got able to change 1 point of your stats removing from one and add to another like... but what about acount lvl, acount lvl will be a stats multiplyer that when lvl 100 cap in 2 times stats, so if you have lvl 10 bodvar and lvl 100 acount you will be able to change 2 points of stats... if you have lvl 9 you will only be able to use the standard stats options, after lvl 10 you will be able to customize your stats the way you want bu only 1 point, or 2 if you have lvl 100 acount that is a 2x multiplyer, at lvl 10 leggend is 1, 20 is 2, 30 is 3, 40 is 4, 50 is 5, 60 is 6, 70 is 7, 80 is 8, 90 is 9 and at 100 you will get 2 points to match the 11 points(half the stats a leggend has) that with the mutiplyer will match the 22 points, this will reward players that play a loot, this may be a nerf to smurfs, and make your experience make some change, also stats are permanently nerfs to some leggends and buffs to others... also you would be able to tranfer your XP from a leggend to another, how this will work, every time you play a lvl 100 leggend the exceeding XP will be stored as volatile XP, the same for the exceeding acount xp(if lvl 100), this volatile xp will be able to be aplied to any leggend, but with a 50% reduction, that lower 5% every time you lvl up 10 lvls in your acount, making so when you be lvl 100 your xp transactions will have no limits... you would also be able to remove xp from a leggend but once you rearch a downgrade on the leggend lvl you will lose/pay the reward you got in that lvl so if i have lvl 30 teros and i remove enought xp to turn it lvl 29 i will pay 120 gold, also when i say "remove xp" im actually talking about tranfering it to your volatile xp storage... also this will need a thing with dextery making so the minimun change time change when you reduce/increase more than the default 1 point of stats that you can change, this to prevent true combos, for exanple if teros get 9 dex dlight nsig in hammer will be true, so it minimun charge time will need to increase every point higher than 4 points of dex you add, but i do think that at 10 dex the leggends shud have a buff like a true combo

@@FoxxNoodles is only how how sounds, but not how realy is... tink that each lvl you add to an stats you need to remove from another one, if you add 10 dex teros you would have 4 defense 4 atacl and 4 speed since you can only change a point of stats, at first sounds brocken, but read my sugestion with atention, is very eazy to get lost in a long txt like this that i made...
same opinion here bro, it would be more fun that playing gives you rewards such as skins and not 300 gold
i think a great way to boost player activity and keep it so not everyone is running around with 5 skins per legend is to make chests available to be purchased for the same as black. either you can choose to spend that gold on a nice looking color to flex your level, or you can spend it on a chance to get a skin from any of the same chest rotations as always. And say they cant get the chest exclusives skins until they get all normal skins meaning they have a wide variety of skins while also keeping that proud feeling to own an exclusive skin. maybe they could treat them like battlepass so if you dont wanna grind for an exclusive skin or any in general then you can use mammoth coins to purchase your way to the exclusive skins. the only flaw with this i see is the people who have spent thousands of hours on the game having over a million gold meanign they can insta buy anything. this is good in a way bc i mean they earned free rewards they spent thousands of hours but also good bc it gives them something to do with their gold. maybe if it isnt enough to do with their gold then they could do the same for event skins while still making them purchasable with money because i think being able to buy something you want should still be a thing.
Your idea could work, but to prevent people from buying everything with their gold, a new currency could be brought in to avoid this issue.

There seems to be some miscomception with these videos. They are ads. There are brawlhalla promo videos mixed in, i.e. BCX promos and ads for the crossover skin, but these are about half of the videos, with the rest being straight up ads. They're called sponsored videos, meaning people sponsor brawlhalla, and in return they get their ads shown. However i dont think this makes it any more or less okay. Its the same outcome either way.

i don't know how to feel about this video tbh, i have my fair share of cosmetics, and don't really plan on getting more, except for maybe bp rewards, which is my only complaint about this game, make these missions more fun holy ****, looking at some of these feels like they ran out of ideas while making missions, there's a literal mission where you have to lose games, and another where you have to reroll your daily missions, this can't be real... but yeah, i can't really form an opinion on this video, since it talks about a completely seprate issue
