@@lemoncrinckles Yesterday I took the car out for some grocery shopping at Target . Had not left the house since March 10 . I was surprised the traffic was heavy going the 3 miles to the store, the parking lot was full . So many shelves were empty . I was without my computer for 13 days , waiting for the new monitor to arrive . It was along wait . Best Wishes always and many Blessing to you Dear Steff .
The music you chose for this video was absolutely perfect. Had me looking up UA-cam's Music Library for the first time. Thank you for introducing me to a new music source. And thank for the haunting look at your beautiful yet empty town.
Nice drive, Steff. The music compliments nicely too. Lovely neighborhood. Sky is beautiful with the clouds. Feels good to get out and get sunshine 🌞🌞🌞🌷
This Prudent Gal It truly was a beautiful day, Jenn. Most of April has been cold, with not much greenery yet. Thank you so much for watching, my friend. 🙏 😊
Enjoyed the ride around your town. There are some beautiful older homes in your area. Like you, I'm only going to the grocery store (my pharmacy is located inside the grocery store). I spend a lot of time on my little back porch listening to the birds and breathing in the fresh air. There's nothing but doom and gloom on the TV so I spend time reading my Bible. Stay safe!!
carol smith Hi, Carol. I'm so glad you have some place to get out. It's not healthy for people to be cooped up like this for so long. So, enjoy your little sanctuary. 😊
Wow, your streets are really empty but your park was packed. We aren't allowed to use parks, the beach or hiking trails. The dogs in our neighborhood are going on walks 3 or 4 times a day and loving it. They will probably be confused when their people go back to work. Loved the drive and the music. Thanks for sharing
I've hardly left the house since early March, but when I do venture out, there's definitely a lot fewer cars on the road. Conversely, we've noticed the complete opposite in our subdivision. Everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, is outside! There's kids out at all hours of the day and night, on bikes, scooters, golf carts, walking, running, playing, drawing with sidewalk chalk, parents out walking and working in their yard. We've commented numerous times that we've never seen so many neighbors outside. Normally, they are all commuting to and from their jobs and busy with other activities. It's rather remarkable. Haven't been to any parks, since I think they are closed at least the ball fields, playgrounds, not sure about any walking trails. Very eerie, really. Hope you are well and healthy Stef, take care! Have a wonderful and blessed day ---Stacy 😍💚
Hi, Stacy. Isn't that amazing, and wonderful? Maybe some of the kids and families will maintain their current behaviors after the bans are lifted. As far as family closeness is concerned. Gradually more and more people are showing up outside here, too. Especially on those (occasional) nice days. I think there's a great enthusiasm for gardening this year. You sound well. You always have a wonderful attitude. That was the best thing when we lived in southern Illinois many years ago; the people were wonderful. Wish you lived closer. Have a wonderful weekend. And Tim, too, of course. (:
All of our parks, piers, etc....are all closed...$750 fines for people....so they stay away....it's hard with the nicer weather on the horizon...but so far here in Ontario it's cold and rainy most days....last year at this time I was starting to have my AC on! Thank you for the drive Steph!
I'm sorry, Lioness. It seems politicians everywhere are taking advantage of this situation. Thank you so much for watching. I enjoy sitting in the passenger seat myself, sometimes. (:
Your area looks very much like our Metroparks here. Everybody want to get out into nature having been cooped up for so long with the ugly weather. Nice outing Stef :)
O it's lovely where you are there is a lot car around where you are it is still lock down for me i can not go out you have to have a mask on if you go out to the shop's be careful out there lots of love from me
Debbi Meyersbrant Hi, Debbi. Yes, here, too. We have a bright day now and then with rainy days in between. It has been cloudy and cool again today. Did you get the big windstorm overnight?
@@lemoncrinckles Oh yes I got, broke more of my trees off, but this time they did not fall on my house. This winter ( got snow the other day so it is winter ) on my place. I have so much to fix lol. The winds and rain just needs to stop, I do not know how to fly or swim so it needs to stop from now.
Debbi Meyersbrant Wow. Sorry about the damage, but thankful it didn't damage your house. I haven't been anywhere today so don't know if we got any damage. But it sure was LOUD! 😯
@@lemoncrinckles oh it damage the house a little bit. But not like in December when the tree fell on it. I wish I had some way to show you the pictures. That I'm still really did a number on the trees and brought it right down on my roof. So now the bathroom leaks, I live in a older trailer , with an add-on. The wind pushed the skirting in this time, so if it ever gets nice I'll go outside and fix. And then get someone to reseal my roof. I do love living in the country lol.

Well, if there was ever a time to know how to stealth bushcraft, this is it. Enjoy. (:
Thanks for sharing your venture out! It is strange to see things so quiet, but it is also nice. Stay well.

Usually there are lots of walkers and bike riders. I think they will come back out again, little by little. Hope you and yours are keeping well. (:
