I’m Hispanic and we eat both the Vienna sausages and the corned beef. The sausages can be made with rice. First sauté equal parts of onion and green peppers as the base, add some tomato sauce and some rice...viola! The corned beef the same; begin by sautéing with the same onion and pepper mix (about 1/4 cp of each), add the corned beef, 4oz of tomato sauce and veggies if you’d like. We add potato’s, corn, green beans. We serve over white rice.

Fun to see a grocery haul! Isn't it weird to think that just a few weeks ago we had trouble finding paper products? Wow, that's a fabulous deal on pork, any kind of chops, for under 3 bucks. I certainly can't find that here :( I really like that Sweet Baby Ray's honey mustard (and if I'm not mistaken, it doesn't have HFCS, unlike most of their bbq sauces). Will have to see if our WM has the glacier ranch chips, don't think I've seen those down here, but I love a cool ranch doritoes :) You did great on restocking your pantry :) I'm finding most things here, but I do think a lot of prices have gone up. Eggs got really bad in April and May but have come back down to more normal levels the last few weeks. We have a fair amount of geese down here, and lots of birds. I love watching them too :) Fun video Stef! Hope you are doing well, take care and have a blessed day ---Stacy 😍💚

Stacy, it seems everyone is enjoying shopping. Our Walmart never seems to have a slow time no matter how early you go. That pork deal was totally unusual. I was actually surprised to see it. You're right about prices going up. Beef is now around $6 a pound.
I'm sorry I didn't show where the geese were heading. But there was a couple right there and I didn't want to invade their privacy (too much). Looking forward to your next haul, too! (:

Vienna sausages.....wow, haven't thought about those in years! My mother could not stand them but we kids loved them. I think it was because we could eat them out of the can. LOL That was a great buy on the pork chops. I've noticed meat prices on the rise here in SC. I never buy meat unless it is marked down. The geese were so funny!! Thanks for sharing!

Hi, Carol. I'm sure I bought some years ago. Wanted to see if they're the same. Beef prices here are averaging $6 to $7 a pound. Chicken and pork have gone up too, but not as much. I hope you have a little back up in your pantry. (:

Hi, Lucy. I'm sorry I didn't add a clip showing the water the geese were so anxious to get to. We watched them for quite a while. We also saw a flock of gold finches but they flitted by way too fast for me to video. I was surprised at the price for the chops. This is the most expensive store in town and their markdowns are seldom significant. However, Walmart has cheap and yummy snacks...it all evens out. lol God bless you and grant you a safe and lovely weekend. (:

Great haul! And that was an awesome deal on the pork chops! Here in upstate SC ground beef is hard to find & is very expensive. The 4 lb package of 85/15 I usually buy from Walmart has went up over $10 a pack making it almost $22 I've been buying the Clear Value 12 pack of 85/15 frozen beef patties for $9 and using that instead. Much cheaper!

Enjoyed your video this evening. I buy Vienna sausages at my Walmart got .54 cents a can . That’s the original ones. However you couldn’t pay me to eat one. I get them for my little dog. She’s old and I have to play around with her diet. I add rice and one can lasts 3 to 4 days. She’s a rescue and I wanted an old one because I’m old and didn’t want to burden my family should I go home before my puppy. Hope you’re well. People around here are wearing masks. I don’t. Your Vienna sausage comments made me laugh. When my Dad would pack my lunch when I was in elementary school he would put in a can of Vienna sausages, a sleeve of saltine crackers, a bottle of hot sauce, and an actual fork. Maybe an apple. Haha! Amazingly, I always brought home the fork. They were a common thing around our house, but just as a snack really. I haven't had any in a long time, but my Dad always had them in his pantry. I'm not a fan of the flavored ones. I think Vienna sausages is one of those things you are either going to like or hate. No in between. :)

What are your thoughts on using Wal-Mart pickup? I've been using it the last few months and I think I may go back to just going into the shop. Lots of mistakes and things being out of stock. I think sometimes these things were just out of stock as my fellow was gathering my items...lol. I miss looking for clearance items as well. Plus, you get every item in its own plastic bag, which lead to LOADS of plastic bags.
I do most of my shopping at a local farmers co-op, so I don't really need much from Wal-Mart.
Vienna sausage....BBQ flavour?!? Wow. Haven't seen that. Let us know what you thought of them. Lol. 😁 People have STRONG feelings both ways. My Uncle used to eat them all the time. He loved them. I think they are ok...kinda slimy...definitely a poverty/struggle meal food.
