Literally best video of double clutching with RPM and foot work all in one screen
🙏
Agreed!!!
I like how when you teach, you're constantly giving fist bumps and positive reinforcement. So many instructors don't do that! They just sit there quietly and only speak when the student does something wrong. It makes the student feel way more nervous/frustrated and make more mistakes.
You know how to keep them calm and confident. Keep doing the great work you do brother!
Most instructors are miserable azz holes
Instructor has so much patience! GOD Bless Him! Over and Over!
This guy is amazing with his skills and patience
My instructor don't explain and scream me all the time
@@marcogr0421damn… I once had an instructor that I never even met until it was time to drive. I did all my learning on dumb videos while the instructor always was somewhere else. Huge language barrier too. I can’t imagine learning with an instructor who is always yelling at you and creating anxiety behind the wheel of a truck you are trying to learn how to drive in the first place
My man I used your teaching to help me shift in the yard and it worked like a charm .. my instructor took notice to my improvements can’t thank you enough for these helpful videos
Awesome 👏
Same here.
I watched this video over and over again while in CDL school. This video taught me how to downshift correctly. Because of you, I earned my CDL Class A today. Thanks.
“Don’t get it up, you won’t get it in” will help you out so much in the beginning staging! I appreciate you for that!
Best video yet, helped me a lot with timing at the yard I’m going to school at. Big up’s to the editor who went the extra mile to focus on the clutch and the gear shifter, it helped out a lot.
I passed today. Thanks to all the guys. Abdul, Camillo, Rafi, Sajjad, Omar…Mr Terry
This school is the real deal.
Awsome Job, bless our google page with an Amazing review brother. 🙏
@@ACETruckKing I wish you were my instructor bro I have failed twice on the driving portion with 6 manual speed truck in New York.I’ve been taking another 2 lesson for the same driving portion with the same school. The instructor is a lady who keeps talking on the phone while in truck which students. She tells me to keep going on the same speed limit in the curve or I’m gonna get failed. She said you can’t go 5 miles below the speed limit in curves and can’t slow down either .If 50 miles per hour on highway you have to be doing 50 in the curves where no speed limit posted.Yet,The NY CDL manual says the otherwise please tell me what I’m supposed to do i have my test on 6th feb?
@@kgf8902how did it go man? Did you end up getting your cdl after all?
@@kgf8902damn what a nightmare. I would have recorded her and send it to DMV. I hope you passed your course and have your CDL now.
I went to CET in el paso tx for 5 months and this is how they teach there, they don't just teach you how pass the test but you really drive Monday-Friday they take you to the highways, the mountains, down town and different types of routes they have in the city. great job bro!! I really like how you teach your students. keep up that good work
This teacher loves his job. ACE Trucking school is the real round. I appreciated all the videos.I love them and i had watch all of them. Thanks and good job.
Bro I have got to say I have been looking for videos where people show the shifting and also have a small video edit attached showing the footwork on the clutch and pedals simultaneously while driving. It was easy to understand, simple to take in, and was very reliving to see how smooth of a process it actually is once you visually see someone doing all the motions in one video screen🙏🏽💯 thank you brotha. Was told that I have to know prior manual shifting knowledge before being able to start my truck school later today. I’ve done it before but was never confident yet. This video def brought more clarity to my nonstop clutching questions😭 I even got a better understanding of recovering the gears by watching the student do his thing while you commentate on his roadwork
Cannot thank you enough. My CDL students love your videos. Trucker Steve CDL instructor you tube
Where’s your school?
@@ACETruckKing Maryland. Woodlawn & Carroll County, Maryland.
I’ve been watching your videos non stop, and LET ME TELL YOU the big picture of the speedometer and pedals is HUGEEEEEE. Big help.
Busy bro gud morning Trust me your videos are so helpful I m in Jamaica and I watch them and trust it help me to do my down shifting now I'm almost doing it perfect cod bless you always my brother heart of love
Thanks
I'm in Jamaica watching too
Thank you so much for this!!! I used your technique and it worked flawless!!! My intructor was also not as patient like you are. You're a great teacher!!!
In CDL now. Gave it up decades ago when changing states and DL. Working to regain my Class A with manual. This was fantastic video. Great instruction and great for rhythm and timing shifting up and down. Thx
I live in Jamaica, iwatch your videos and they help me out alot, keep up the good work,if I even come to Huston I will definitely look you up.🔥
Hey man, you give the best example soon. Thank you so much for uploading it with the special camera views. I feel like it's really going to help my downshifting cuz that's why I have the biggest problem. Thank you so much!
Thanks 6:28
Great instructor. Iam going to share this to my driving school
Thank you so much, I was having trouble down shifting. I think by watching this I got it now. Subscribed! Big respect bro!
This video helped me so much. I passed and got my license with no restrictions!
Great view of the pedals, stick, and dials!
Iam in the process of getting my CDL in RI, had an instructor that did nothing but hell at me first time out. Old guy named Mike, he has no business being a teacher, other people say the same thing about him.
Excellent video to show the coordination. Much appreciated.
Excellent video, I am very grateful for having taught me, when the other videos will be uploaded where it will help me to remove the restriction from my license
Nice teaching! I drive an autonatic semi. My goal is to learn the manual as well. Thanks for sharing! 🤜🏾🤛🏾👍🏽
There is a guy here on youtube named dastrom and you can watch him drive an old 1950s kenny. It will give you a pretty good idea on how to slide into the throttle as you do shifts. Its way easier to do than double clutch stuff and in reality the only time you may need to tap the clutch is on a hard downshift. He drives like the old timers around our neck of the woods and as long as you dont stress your shift. everything goes well. The newer eatons are much more forgiving and wont kick the shifter back into your hands, if you catch the top of a spline.
@@donotcare330 what id Dastrom's channel?
@@donotcare330 I rarely even touch my clutch. When starting out and backing up is really the only time I touch my clutch.
@@donotcare330 You will never get a cdl without a auto restriction if you cannot double clutch, Everyone who really drives a manual floats gears but to pass the test you must double clutch.
Bro te digo tierra you saved my life with your videos long story short I p/u truck manual last year didnt know and last time I did manual was in school 2018 with your videos I learned the 10 speed perfectly floating and all THANk YOU bro keep it up.
Best instructor on UA-cam! Many thanks to you.
This video just helped me get my license very helpful thank you so much
Man.. im in trucking school right now and been working up to this part of my trainnig. This video is great we all make mistakes its part of the learning process and good communication with your instructor is important
Hey brother welcome back 🙏🏼
Awesome job teaching!
i like watching your videos am from zambia, africa keepup with a good work bro
I passed couple months ago watching your videos. Best camera views with pedal and gauges. I have drive test at my first trucking job tomorrow so I'm watching your videos to get brush up. I only had 3 hours driving at 10 speed. Rest time was with synchronized transmission. I will update tomorrow. Thank you for these videos👍
Howd it go?
@@ChozenNYCI guess he didn’t do well
I like the way you teach new driver sir.me i took practical driving test last October 11,2024 but im failed in driving..i only pass inspection.
My problem in driving is downshifting and when approaching stop
I like the way you teach your students 🎉
Very good teaching! Nice to watch the calm teaching methods while applying knowledge and making it practical for the student.
You a good teacher
Great vid. Great teacher.
Heavy on the cluth break during shifts. It can be daunting but he will get there. Good job.
Tremendo maestro bro ! La compañía donde trabajó hace dos semanas me dio un truck de 10 velocidades y tus videos me han ayudado mucho. Puedes hacer un video sobre el uso del clutch en los roundabout, turning y bumper to bumper traffic. Gracias hermano
I liked the setup in your truck it is very important to demostrate what you are talking about
Best of the best my brother
Love your teaching techniques you have a lot of patience another instructor would have started yelling already I have had instructors like that. Wish I lived close enough to have gone to your school
Great teacher 💯
i used to deep clutch on my first tries and deep breaks too. im like why am i loosing so much air pressure? shes like, your breaking too deep lol. its true what they said, the more gentle you are with the truck, the better it responds which is ironic considering how big and heavy they are. its interesting.
i love your vidioes. here the filming angels are so nice.
u a good teacher
Very helpful. The extra effort it took to get a camera on the pedals, tach, and speedo made all the difference for me
You guys are the goat
Thank you for sharing. Really helpful. Preciate you.
I’m glade I found this video I’m training now
Great teaching!
Dios te bendiga barón grande mente viendo estos videos gracias a Dios pude pasar mi examen tenia problema para subir y bajar cambio y viendo estos videos pude aprender en qué velocidad y que cambio poner
🙏
Awesome video thank you!!
Good job
Welcome back sir. I'm Aashu from India 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳
Una vaina bien mani. Un buen maestro.
Got my CDLs Thursday
Excellent good job.
Does he need to be pushing the clutch that deep during gear shifts?
Edit: Okay, I just saw the note about this in the video, which clarifies things. Thanks!
The “giggidy “ took my soul away 😂
The instructor reminds me of how I taught my brother to drive. It's about timing when using legs while changing gears. I also used hand gestures to help him.
Great teaching
Good teacher myn didn't have that kind of patience he would of learn alot from you
Thank u bruh 👍🏼 helped out
That’s cool coasting in NH made me automatically fail my road test I wish it was just point deduction
Good instruction buddy cheers
bro you came in clutch pun intended(no diddy)
Sir what are the reasons I would steal taking off not locked in gear or range selector up
Thanks, great video
That's good instructing
Sir you are Amazing 👏
Do u have any video on floating gears
I cracked up. If you don’t get it up you don’t get it in. 😂
The best🇩🇴
Thank you my good man 🤝
Great job, driver did great! One question, not your price , but what’s a decent amount when it comes to school? Thank you
A good school will charge you $4,000 to $6,000 for a full month course. Anything cheaper, stay far away from it.
@@ACETruckKing yes sir thank you for your reply!!
Good Teaching techniques
Do you double clutch to lower gears also?
Clutch neutral gas clutch gear
All look good.only one thing how you can all in your clutch always down.??😮😮😮
I wish my teacher was like this
Who this rule apply to 8 speed manual as well the gear recovery?
Dónde estas necesito de tu ayuda estoy en un aescuela en NC pero en inglés y yo no lo hablo y no e podido manejar el manual . Ayúdame dónde están ubicados?
Hey Hansel, what country are you from?
I'm in Houston and need your assistance
Goog job teacher my likes his movies
This guy here is an awesome trainer, boutique to get my CDL
This school is in nj right? Which location
“If you don’t get it up, you don’t get it in, that’s what’s she said”
Words I’ll carry til death.
What is the name your of driving school ? I am watching you from west Africa Ghana
My school never taught me this. Would explain why i couldnt downshift cause i wasnt right speed for gear.I failed my test for grinding gears going 35 trying to shift to 7th ..
Did you try again?
Here in New Jersey i am on a school that when they are teaching you they been on the phone the whole class and they only give you 2 classes of 30min shifting before you test 🤦🏾♂️ also the truck was bad cuz at 30miles when you try to go 8 gear it don’t go at 15rpm you need like 20rpm also need to be at almos 35miles before go to 8 gear 🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️ everything is really bad at that school I wish i was on tx so i can go to a true school 🤷🏽♂️
What School are you At ? Im In NJ too
Stay positive dude. Think about it this way, those shitty trucks will make you that much better if a driver. If you can learn on some of the worst, imagine how good you’ll do when you have something worth a damn. Keep your head up
@@danielzajac3432 the name is driving academy something like that is on Elizabeth nj the problem is they take too many people on the class just to get money then when you are in the yard you only park 1 or maybe 2 times of 30 min each and the rest of the day is just pre-trip by your self because some trainers are just on the phone or smoking then 3 days before you test they take you out 3 tines for 30min each to learn how to change gears but also don’t teach you anything, you have to learn by yourself and watch videos like this to learn how change gears properly
@@HughWoo i been learning by my self after I paid $4500 that’s not good you know but I did not know that this school was like that i know will make it because i watch all these videos and i now i know the best way to drive a truck properly
While this may or may not be helpful to you, it's improtant to note that the tachometer is displayed as two digits, but is on a x100 scale. Your engine crankshaft speed is 1,500 RPM & 2,000 RPM between those two points.
I still struggle with downshifting and upshifting. No matter how hard I try ..My driving isn’t constantly clean.
Can u change gear without using the clutch?
Yes, if you match revs correctly, but you can't do this method on the test.
❤❤❤
The school I went to (160) taught us to downshift in 7th gear at 35 but you say 25 so are they wrong?
Depends on the transmission and engine combo. Every truck is a little different
Yea 160 sucks they didnt teach me anything in this video and i failed at the dmv
I noticed he is using too much clutch on the upshift. Thats why the truck is jumping?
that's what she said
