I was at a clinic with two doctors who gave me two types of medications one which was Lipitor. I had to takes these medications to my employers physician whom instructed me to take the medication back to the doctors and told me not to take it because taking both drugs will kill me.🤔🤔🤔which was no longer an issue because my employer dropped my insurance while on sick leave and the doctors would not see me anymore.
From blood checks the cholesterol level for my husband was always normal.he had a very healthy diet ,could not take stains as it gave him severe leg pains. But his heart was blocked with cholesterol.. all the symptoms of heart failure was not diagnosed and he died on his sleep.his heart arteries were 67% and 72 % blocked..even 3 visits in extreme chest and stomach pains, yo the emergency did not help.ecg and other tests ,he was told he is in perfect health .Such a fit and healthy man ...
My grandmother takes Lipitor for her cholesterol but it causes her muscle / joint pain. I got her some 1500mg superior cbd hemp oil and she feels amazing and is sleeping much better.
Have her drop the statins. I’ve dropped Rosuvastatin (Crestor?) June 30, ‘22. I’ve complained of bad leg cramps and spasms, joint pains all over, since being put on Losartan/Amlodipine-Besylate/Atorvastatin in 2016. Wound up Feb ‘20 having popliteal aneurysm bypass surgery. Then having a 6-day stay in hospital for a duodenal bleed March ‘20. Followed by a DVT in May ‘20. I’ve not had a regularly seen PCP Dr since 2015,. Since 2016 I’ve had a parade of doctors for PCP (as well as raising the issue while in hospital) who’ve completely ignored my complaints (including in my medical records, e.g; notes, summaries). October’20, Drs put me on Rosuvastatin. I never understood their reasoning for the statin. How does a drug that destroys cholesterol, build cholesterol? My numbers have been fairly consistent thru the years. HDL in those years range 27-35, LDL 58-78, triglycerides around 150. Also in that time, my A1c went from 6.0 to 6.5 Oct ‘20. So now I’m diabetic, they say. Last test 6.8. I take 7 meds including a vitamin, an aspirin, and the statin. After seeing so much online and in magazines, in my 6 yrs with statins, I lost faith in the Medical system of my local area. Remembering how quick these symptoms appeared, it’s been amazing how quickly I’ve been feeling better. I presently am in the hunt for a new PCP. I know my lab #’s will be a lot better because I am slowly regaining my mobility from the surgery, which was a very dangerous, extensive cutting. Surgeon said I would not fully regain use of leg and would probably be painful for life. But I already feel better from the other pains. STATINS BAD!!
I figured out a long time ago it was heinous stuff...gave me HORRIBLE side effects...couldn't walk at one time; tried at least five of them due t doctors' concerns
I’m a pharmacist and I’ve got to say, it’s so refreshing to hear pharmacists saying statins are not all they are cracked up to be. I’m very interested in the natural medicine side of health care now that I’ve been practicing in a hospital for over 20 years. Are you self taught or did you go through any training? I also need to look up the studies do I can refute the standard way that doctors and pharmacists are trained. If you could provide any that you have studied, that would be greatly appreciated!!
Glad to hear your willing to do the research, I wish more doctors would. Just know you will get attacked by the mainstream medical industry. The conflict of interest with the pharmaceutical industry, studies( funded by said companies) and the FDA that receives kickbacks is a massive conflict of interest . Pharmaceutical co. don't want to cure people they want lifelong patients, while natural doctors want you healthy and cured!!
I eat aged garlic cloves stored in honey. 4 cloves a day! Off Maxide, & Lipitor, my blood pressure & cholesterol is below normal! I also do shots; Manuka honey (heat 8 seconds) olive oil, cayenne pepper, kyolic aged garlic, lemon juice. Shoot follow with tart Cherry juice then 2 shots of water. I also do apple cider, turmeric & black seed oil. Fasting also.😮
Ever heard of Hemp oil. Hemp oil capsules will help your cholesterol. A nurse mentioned this to me a year ago after I had a mild stroke. She was taking two hemp oil capsules a day and so am I. It also helps with itchy dry scaly skin caused by blood thinners.
Servers muscle pain and muscle weakness memory loss was bothering me which is why I stopped the statins and then reduced them to half…but I’m learning more and K2 is not in our diet due to factory farming and feeding beef grain etc…eating leafing green’s broccoli spinach etc (K1) that the gut turns into K2 is part of the solution.
This tape is 8 years old. The information they talk about is confirmed. Also he said he juiced. Taking out the fiber from the vegetable can hurt over long term. I juiced for two years too much sugars with no fiber.
I just started on Lipitor and the pain in my shoulder muscles and upper arms is unbearable. I am stopping now from taking them. My cholesterol is high but it has been same for the last 30 years! Not worth the pain. I quit them.
I’m ABOUT to start Lipitor TODAY via doctor’s orders and am very nervous. My numbers are really up there, yet I’m active (10 miles on bike 6 days a week) and 135 lbs. I was wondering after a year, how you’re feeling!!!!
My cholesterol is 63 my Dr has me on statins 10 mg. My goal is to eliminate the statin. I do have a plugged artery and it is I believe from K2 deficiency. 4 years ago I went from 140 LDL to 45 LDL by just not eating meat and cheese…no milk either. But since my education about the importance of K2 deficiency I’m saying no to statins. But I’ll also get other tests that are more relevant than an archaic lipid panel.
Lipitor(Atorvastatin) 40 mg/day as prescribed by my VA Healthcare physician put my previously normally functioning kidneys into stage II renal failure within 6 months after starting the drug.
After years of listening to so-called medically-trained people I conclude that nothing is safe to eat. I also take the message that in order to stay healthy I should take the medications they suggest. The trouble is nobody can agree on what that combination should be. I am also lead to believe that I'm going to die anyway one of these years.
Thanks for saying that my friend - my thoughts exactly . No wonder so many laymen like you and I are bewildered by all the opinions out there. We all want to live longer, but hey, we have to die of something . Regards from a sixty nine year old Englishman .
We I went off .lost 40lbs .no meat lots of veggies with lots of cardio .my lds doubled .we back on limiter and ate normal and my numbers went down big time .they work
I was on Lipidor. Caused severe muscle pain and muggy brain. I stopped taking them. I am now diabetic. Doctor put me on another statin. I refuse to take them. Severe pains in my feet now. Co-codamol is helping relieve pain.
There's only do much time in the program and he wants to cover all points, I found this segment to be very informative and at the end he gives his website for those who want more info
I'll have find another doctor. Cholesterol just over 200. I don't have high blood pressure. Don't eat fried food. Never smoked and rarely have alcohol. Passed 2 stress test just fine. Reminded my doctor of this, but she keep saying I could have a stroke. Not just any stroke but a massive one. Very frustrating to hear this.
statin almost killed me. As of 20th of this month I quit taking 40 mg Atorvastatin. I am an x-heart attack patient. I also have a stent in my carotid artery, I quit the satin. It is proved that statin weakens muscles .Now, what is the most important muscle in our bodies? Heart, of course. statin weakened me so that I could hardly walk. It also caused repeated atrial fibs.
I've been taking 10 mg atorvastatin for a few years now. I started and stopped twice because it made feel like crap. I'm considering to stop altogether. Did you just quit or did you do a gradual withdrawal?
Had a heart attack three months ago -- 55 years old, 145 lb male, good blood numbers and now have a very healthy diet. NO sugar, few carbs. They had me on 80 mg of lipitore and I cut them in quarter doses. I want to go off statins but keep hearing about dangers of hot plaque. Suggestions?
I feel you. I had one 3 weeks ago, I'm 41, 145 lbs and working out alot. Was on Keto for a 1.5 years, my cholesterol levels and triglycerides all went sky high. I refuse to take statins.
Ween yourself off them slowly! Get Vitamin D3 to boost your immune system. Vitamin K2 is ok for those who are healthy, NOT, for you or me who had had an event! K2 strips away calcium buildup which may be protecting you from hot liquid plaque, which I’d it breaks through the lining of the artery (Intima), the plaque will quickly clot and you will have a heart attack or stroke! That’s what happened to me. Statins shut down critical process by the liver and you will develop other illness 20-40 years from now! Statins are dangerous and do nothing except remove harmless fluffy LDLs only, and cannot see the very small dangerous very low density LDLS. Lot of data out there on this! Best of good health to you!
I want to put tape across the interviewer's mouth and just give the Doctor a written list of questions!!😡 ...Since the interviewer kept cutting in, it made the doctor start talking faster trying to get his thought out.🤦🏽♀️
This makes sense. I've been on Pravastatin for about 10 years and now my dr says I'm not producing any vitamin d so now I'm taking 5000 iu's of vitamin d. Dr Berg talks about when we ingest wheat carbs, we also increase insulin which increases cholesterol. I decided to go on a low carb diet with high fats and several ounces of protein daily and I decided to stop taking my statin drugs. When I see my dr next, i want to see how my diet affects my thyroid because i want to stop taking my Levothyroxin too. I want to be drug free because I know by diet, my body will heal itself.
And you dont see any stroke patients who did take their statins? Your propaganda statement is pointless unless you show a really significant difference in the percentage of both populations having strokes and then adjust that also for diet and lifestyle factors eg if you arent on statins and also not on the kind of diet and lifestyle the pharmacist/nd said then was it the lack of stains or the poor diet and lifestyle
Getting off statins isn’t a problem: I stopped taking them in 2011 having been prescribed in 1997 after open heart surgery. My then GP went ballistic, wanted to throw me out of the practice, and even as recently as last year they were trying to convince me that this other one wouldn’t cause the agonising pain I had been getting. My cholesterol is 8 (whatever that means) and I am in perfect health, no heart problems at all, nothing. I agree statins are a con. It’s one of the weirdest stories ever in the history of medical treatment
Dr. Eric Berg and others have provided numerous books and YT videos on Cholesterol and statins which are far more useful and informative, not annoying.
LDL(bad, but not really), HDL, good, should have a count of 60. HDL basically take out of your arteries the LDL to return to the liver for breaking down and repackaging to go out again. Two parts to the LDLs; large fluffy ones (harmless), and very small density deformed and damaged (bad). They have more fluffy ones than the deformed ones. Statins only remove the fluffy LDLs, not the very small bad ones because the liver can no longer see the very small bad ones! A good reason not to take Statins. You can increase you good HDLs through a high fat, moderate protein and low carbohydrates (vegetables only!). Eliminate all sugars, grain foods from you diet. Grains increase your triglycerides (which should’ve less than a count of 100 mg/no. Divide your triglycerides number by the HDLS and that ratio should be less than 2. Intermittent fasting will also help, no smoking or drinking. Statins drugs are deadly and will shut off many other necessary functions of the liver. You will get sick from other organ failures if on statins! Best of success and good health to you!! Keep these numbers in mind and you will be in good health! Medical profession is criminal in league with the pharmaceutical industry.
Yes, the fact that cholesterol has nothing to do with heart disease, nor any other disease for that matter is now coming out. Dave, I question why you say to eat lean meats and fruit and veggies? It is a fact that fruits have very low nutritional value next to veggies. Fruits are designed to fatten us up for the winter as the high sugar content keeps us hungry so we gorge on them and fatten up for the winter. A low carb high fat diet is the answer. Heart disease is related only to inflammation, which is caused by carbohydrates and sugars, and how it causes insulin resistance and therefore high insulin levels in the blood. This is all clear known information. Throw the statins away and enjoy your healthy high cholesterol. Do not have unhealthy fats like Canola oil, vegetable oil, sunflower oil etc (These are chemically manufactured and contain trans-fats that your body can't cope with. Eat only healthy high fat salted butter, lard (Pork Fat), and all saturated animal fats. If it's poly-unsaturated steer clear!!!. Yes, it is the big pharm companies that are killling people for profit through misinformation and very clever fear mongering. Turn the food pyramid upside down and now you will ne following a heathy diet - but, this diet will deplete the profits of big Pharm, so they do not want you to do that.
A really dreadful interviewer who kept interrupting his guest, who actually sounded like he’d be worth listening to if he could get a word in edgewise.
What herbal products can you recommend for malignant neplasm of the pancreas head? Diagnosed in August 2021. Docs are reccomending 6, 5FU chemo treatments. Have done 2 chemo treatments. Do not want to have whipple procedure.
Why don't doctors address the issue of what causes cholesterol particles to stick to the interior walls of the arteries? We need cholesterol - its in every cell of the body. The real culprit is not cholesterol its the condition of the arteries that cause it to stick to the walls. That condition is inflammation and inflammation is predominantly caused by the consumption of sugar. When we look at the consumption of sugar per person since 1900 until today we see a significant rise in heart disease and heart attacks almost paralleling the rise in sugar consumption. There is a direct correlation between the two but doctors don't look at this because they make more money (as do the pharmaceutical companies) with each prescription written. If your doctor prescribes a statin to lower your cholesterol ask him/her what causes cholesterol to collect in the arteries. He/she probably doesn't know. Time to find a different doctor - preferably one who knows why. They simply aren't trained about this in medical school because the pharmaceutical companies fund the schools of medicine and influence the curriculum to protect their biggest selling drug - you guessed it - STATINS! CHOLESTEROL IS NOT THE PROBLEM!
Doug miller thank for your comments. Very valuable. I have been on Atorvastatin for a year w co q 10. Just sent off of the drug for a week. Am attempting to do a better diet, but the sugar is a bit tough to avoid. God bless
Just don’t do it! Change your diet. Do not eat vegetable oils and stay away from all process foods and sugars! .Finally, educated people who are pointing to the problem instead of the symptom.
There is a new statin family now with fewer side effects. Statins are probably the most studied treatment regime in the world. So how rigorous is the herbal potion testing, I wonder ...
He was admitted to the hospital didn't even know who I was he went down to a hundred and 37 lb it's a costly injection he's a veteran it took a struggle but they finally gave it to him it works
Every time I take the pill I feel like I shouldn't be doing it but my doctor admonished me last time for not taking it regularly. When I stop taking it for a few days I feel better and my aches and minor pains are gone. My parents both had high numbers but they both lived to 96 and never were sick. My cousin who is a doctor told me many years ago that this is the worst drug to take because it changes everything in our system. So to please my doctor I still have the prescription. Maybe he makes money from it, I don't know what to do.
I would go to a different doctor. Doctors make huge profit from pharmaceutical companies who manufacture statin drugs. The risk of taking statin drug is far higher than not taking it.

You are absolutely correct. You do no favor for your liver if you take RR Yeast. You have to have blood dome done the same as if you were taking Pharmaceutical grade statins. You also have to be careful of the purity of the RRYeast. Just choose not to use it.
The medical industrial complex's failure to properly research and diagnose and treat microbiome and sleep and vital nutritional deficiency issues (including those related to Vitamin D3 and Vitamin K2 and Magnesium deficiencies as well as iatrogenic prescription medication usage) is a major reason why psychiatric iatrogenesis is a primary contributor to the third leading cause of death in the U.S. (which is iatrogenesis in general). If the U.S. spent just a fraction of the over $40 billion each year it spends just on iatrogenic psychiatric drugs alone, for properly researching the issues discussed in this and related UA-cam presentations we would probably, Lord willing, achieve an absolute revolution in medical efficacy improvement and iatrogenesis reduction.
Did he happen to take an mrna covid vaccine?
Randy, please stop interrupting your guest and let him have his say before you chime in. Thanks for your kind consideration!
Dang. Let him talk!
Ramadan is an annual 30 day fasting month for
Muslims, good recommendation.
Fasting also.😮
The host has to allow the doctor to talk!
A rude host.
I stop statin and eat low carb more than year and my life is healtier than before
Great video but jeez interviewer ask the question let the guy answer - just shut up and listen jeez!
Randy interrupts at every turn!
Very interesting information but too many interruptions that cut off the conclusion to important statements.
Just got off and the aches and pain is gone. Raise your HDL.
How did you stop? Cold turkey?
When insulin goes down your liver stops taking up cholesterol for some reason. Fasting does it. Low carb does it. Your body can be trusted.
Stop interrupting. Let the doctor talk!!
Let the guest talk!! I hate when he keeps interrupting.
What's that?
Debbie Evans what is co-codamol? Went off lipitor three wks ago. Have pain in my feet. Thanx, and where did you get this product?
I agree with Mary Hill
The interviewer is trying to show how SMART he is... he is so RUDE
I'm out bcuz the host is making me crazy constantly interrupting. Ugh..
statin almost killed me.
I am taking 300 COQ10 per day. Feel great now. I was having some Afib COQ10 solves that problem.
Randy - 2 ears , one mouth = perfect proportions for communication.
Please take K2 with D3 for absorption. Look up Dr. Berg and Statins. Praying for your healing.🙏🏼🕊
I want to put tape across the interviewer's mouth and just give the Doctor a written list of questions!!😡
...Since the interviewer kept cutting in, it made the doctor start talking faster trying to get his thought out.🤦🏽♀️
Amazing for 2014. This is already common knowledge in 2019.
And now we’re going into 2022 still little change in guidelines if any!
I am reading that in the UK they have mandated doctors prescribe statins to anyone over 70 years of age with no other factors.
Fruit and veggies? What about if I’m on Keto diet? Had a stent and 20 years Lipidor
Let the guest speak!!!
The Brain is mainly Cholesterol so what's happening to IT?
Right.
I hurt my knee so can not walk, was in good shape until i fell. Go see doc and he prescibed Lipitor, Losartan. Makes sense
Rehab RN here, we see lots of stroke patients who refused to take statins or stopped their statins 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
How Is your diet?
Frankie Gunnz diet is crucial to healthy living. I do my best to support the principles of Ayurveda in all my activity including nutrition

Finally, the truth; thanks so much.
Can't recall the name but the statin I took can lead to dementia. Gled I'm off it and depend on pepsids.
I'd like to hear what this doctor has to say - not the ignorant host.
JungoJerry
Absolutely, was thinking the same. He keeps speaking over him
HE'S A PHARMACIST NOT A PHYSICIAN.
@@petermacander5039 Pharmacists know far more about drugs than physicians ever.
Dr. Eric Berg and others have provided numerous books and YT videos on Cholesterol and statins which are far more useful and informative, not annoying.
Randy needs to stop interrupting
Please distinguish between HDL and LDL cholesterol. It's not all the same.
@@richardayala4356 Thank you! Your numbers are helpful in my research.
This interviewer seems to be attacking the man. Talking fast, interrupting before the man can finish getting his point across.
Randy Alveradez needs to let the doctor speak without interruptions. This is so rude.
interviewer you talk when you shouldnt
I dont have high cholesterol and I have never had high cholesterol but I had a minor heart attack 6 years ago and was prescribed lipitor ?
My VA doctor wanted me to take them. I said HELL NO. Of course, they only spend 10 minutes with me each year.
Thank you Dave
I love this host guy he was so concerned about his cholesterol 😂
😢
What herbal products can you recommend for malignant neplasm of the pancreas head? Diagnosed in August 2021. Docs are reccomending 6, 5FU chemo treatments. Have done 2 chemo treatments. Do not want to have whipple procedure.
Yeah, geez, how about let the guest speak. It could have been good.
Go to his website. I bet it’s a good source.
God bless
That is great info you provided in your comment.
Well. Looks like this view is unanimous. I hope that 5 years later you've...LISTENED !
one word,remember it, Niacin
Statins ruined my life for 2 years. Everyday I felt like I fell out of a tree.
Doctors should find out what is causing the illness, instead of prescribing a medication right away to the patient.
Stop eating sugars and wheat and your numbers will usually drastically improve.
Niacin will improve blood fat balance. Good for the brain too 👌

What r u talking about?
@@mysmith23 - Exactly. Same curiosity
Yesss I'm glad other people noticed that too. This host is really rude. You invite the man on the show so let him speak. We all know your intelligent and know things but you have a guest on the show who's giving good information and your cutting him off and blocking that information from coming out. You really need to work on that.
Thanks for the good guest, but interviewing technique interrupts the guest way way too much.
Red Yeast Rice works on the same chemical pathways as Statins. The side effects can be the same so it's a bad idea to think that RYR is the solution.
You are absolutely correct. You do no favor for your liver if you take RR Yeast. You have to have blood dome done the same as if you were taking Pharmaceutical grade statins. You also have to be careful of the purity of the RRYeast. Just choose not to use it.
Good material for SNL.
