I agree with you totally. How will the doctors make money if they tell the truth to their patients😂😂😂95%ofthem keep prescribing unwanted drugs to their patients. None of the Big Pharma drugs has cured anyone from diabetes blood pressure etc. They keep taking the drugs lifelong. Very sad.😢. Thank you for this video to educate the masses out there.

Just discovered you Dr Suneel & I’m so happy that I have 😊
I’m on Statin (have T2 Diabetes) & have been for years & I’m going to come off them myself asi e not been feeling too good on them & at my age of tender soon to be 66 that my memory is 60% down & I’m forgetting the simplest things too.
I’ll be improving on my health & just for now thank you so much please carry on your great work informing us all as we do need & yes it’s all about making lots of money but not at all in our interests.
Why not then prescribe us something healthier like vitamins & minerals as that’s what we all need 🙏🏼❤

I refused to take statins, I refused bp meds, I refused all the other crap. I went to an optometrist today to get glasses and they were SHOCKED that I do not have a primary care doc OR a pharmacy. I was told by a doctor years ago to change my diet.... he said "I could give you pills, but changing your diet would be better in the long run"... I had no idea what a GEM he was and very rare!!

At least they were only shocked. I'd gotten looks of either pity (the assumption I couldn't afford medical care) or disdain when informing a medical professional that I had no primary care doctor.

      (2) second week skip breakfast and lunch have healthy dinner .
      (3) month 2 alternate day fasting.
Record BP and glucose before you start and record again at the end of month 2 .😎

I went to get mum some pain killers at chemist and the first thing she said to me was ''is this ok to take with ALL your other medications!?"
I was 50 at the time but looked 40. So at 40 she expected me on a heap of meds.
I said I'm not on any meds but this is for mum anyway.
She said ''well your very lucky!"

I had blood work done. My Dr put me on statins. After three months I couldn’t walk. Pain everywhere. I had to use a cane to walk. Shoulder pain, back pain, foot pain. Then my hands started hurting. I got off statins on June 11 pain is gone. I can go for walks now. I felt I lost my quality of life. I haven’t told my Dr yet. I tried to tell her what was happening to me she said it was arthritis. But after watching hours of UA-cam about statins I knew it was statins, I was right. I got my life back.❤

I had the same reaction to Beta Blockers, I was nearly crippled by them, mobility kept getting worse and worse and arthritis type knee pain and pain through all my body joints went through the roof, my dr also tried to blame arthritis but i kep sayinv it started when meds started... eventually they conceded it was the meds, apparently it's a "rare" reaction/side effect that degenerates the muscles in the body, causing weakness and severe joint pain due to lack of muscle strength supporting the joints. It was horrible and has taken nearly 18months to start to regain muscle strength once beta blocker meds ceased. ....
so be careful it's not just statins that cause this reaction, beta blockers can too, and if you look at most people on heart meds/beta blockers youll notice they all sort of shuffle along unsteady on their feet, now i know whats possible with the side effects i wonder if all those people are having same side effect.

And you can be certain that it is not until the evidence of harm is overwhelming and has gone on for years. So consider that with every drug you are prescribed. Just because it is deemed “safe & effective” this year, that may not always be the case.

He ended up having to go in at get a Cardiac catheterization for a separate issue, and they sent in a camera to check a small aortic aneurism's progress... His cardiologist said he had the CLEANEST arteries he had ever seen. So, no... he certainly didn't need STATINS. They are very much over prescribed.

Was in the hospital 3 years ago for dehydration, which happened from a reaction to an antibiotic. They refused to give me fluids that I needed and looked for a different cause because I am “elderly”. I was prescribed Lipitor. I said I have never had high cholesterol. I have been mainly vegetarian since I was a teenager. They looked into my records and told me my last test was 3 years before. I said that I had a test 3 months ago and it was perfect. They ordered a test and of course, I didn’t need Lipitor. I am outraged that because I’m in my 80’s now, they routinely think I need all the stuff other old people take and without tests. I am not on any prescription medication at all. I plan to keep it that way.

I remember in pharmacy school 30 years ago thinking statins were a scam. I don't remember the stats, but my professor talked about how many people had to be treated for a certain length of time to reduce the chance of one person having a heart attack. I felt like I was the only one who thought it was the punch line to a bad joke. The cherry on top, was no substantial decrease in mortality. I clearly remember thinking there was no point in taking these meds.

I too was prescribed statins after I went on a Keto way of eating... I took the statins and felt worse than ever before and decided to stop taking them. A year later when I had bloodtests done my GP was horrified at my high cholestrol levels and sent me to a cardiologist who dealt with female heart problems... it was a Godsent as she looked at my tests results and asked me if I was on a ketogenic diet.. I said yes .. she did a number of tests and said to me: "Continue as you are as you are doing a great job"...

Many doctors are starting to stop statins because of the brain being over 70 percent fat. I talked to many people who are having memory issues since taking stains. They are using alternative medicine to fix there cholesterol . If you look at the raw data on cholesterol it only helps less then 1/3 of a percent of the people. Ask your doctor with any medication what are the numbers. One in 20 helps; one in 10; one in 50.... just ask. I did and was disappointed. @sherylkeib4993 - cholesterol is made by and needed by your body. The problem is that there is no good science that actually correlates higher cholesterol levels alone with cardiovascular risk. They fabricated a BS study long ago to claim it does. There are many factors that influence cardiovascular health.

With radical diet change, and correct supplementation, I am recoverying well, up to 40%, at approx 1% gain per day. Note it was my own self-harm that caused this initial heart probs. What a surprise! *Eye roll*
My doctor wanted me on Statins. Many people would have taken the advice. I have high hereditary cholesterol. I’m a cholesterol factory. But I have no family history of heart disease, hypertension, or stroke. Exercise very regularly. Have a BMI of 20.5. 5’11” 146lbs. Less than 15% total body fat (Dexa). Resting pulse of 46. 115/75 BP. My triglycerides are great. So I told the doctor I wouldn’t be taking her advice and that I wanted a full lipid density check, and out of an abundance of caution, a CAC Scan. The Lipid Density Check showed that my LDL was not of the dense toxic variety and my CAC Scan Score was zero. No evidence of arterial plaque at all. Her argument was, oh but age is a risk factor and you are 65. The test scores were undeniable though and she backed down. But that was me. How many people would have simply taken the meds???

So, in march “guidelines” and “protocol”, and advice to take statin. 2 aunts had heart attacks in their 70s, but were both long term smokers. My doctor also offered me 2 vaccines, purely because of my age. Really? No drugs for me, lifestyle changes, yes. Other than that, I’ll take my chances and trust in Almighty God.

However one of the women brought up the issue of statins. I had a stent put in my heart about 12 years ago and after 7 or 8 years on Ststins, I stopped cold turkey, much to my cardiologist's dismay. When he asked me why, I told him that Statins were killing my body's electrical system. I ended up with Stucco Caratosis on my arms and legs, along with non-diabetic Peripheral Neuropathy in my feet so bad I could not walk on our home's carpeting barefooted because it was so irritating and painful. Just now in 2024 I am able to go out and walk barefooted on the grass and concrete patio.
I have read that the old numbers they wanted to have me stay at which was a total cholesterol of 150, should not be that low, and even numbers like 230 is not as dangerous as the drug companies have been scamming us into believing. I am now 78 do not take statins nor do I take that mRNA fake vaccine. Both my other half and I now consider ourselves PureBloods and my diet is about 50% Keto. IE: I don't care what my cholesterol numbers are because I choose not to eat like a starving pauper, and more like Asian steaming style of cooking.
I also no longer trust the drug companies because they are more interested in making money for their stockholders, than creating drugs that actually help people. Go to Drugs.Com and read up on what drugs you may be taking and be sure to read the part about "Side Affects", (Contraindications). I've been prescribed drugs that I bought at the pharmacy then went home and looked the drug up on Drugs Dot Com and realized that I didn't want that in my body, and threw them in the garbage. Doctors these days have sold their soul to Big Pharma, and some have no GD idea what they are prescribing because they only know what the drug company's brochures say, which is of course Marketing hype & BS !!!

I had a Doctor appointment recently and I had high average borderline cholesterol scores. They recommended a statin but I refused it because they had crippling effects on my mother’s health. They never offered to look more closely to analyze my LDL to determine if it was truly harmful or not or to further assess my circulatory system to determine if I had a problem. We eat a very healthy whole food organic diet with no sugar, no refined carbohydrates, no seed oils, no junk food or fast food. I don’t smoke or drink too much either.
2:20 My husband had a scan a couple of years ago and they were amazed that he had no signs of blockage and was 70! We eat the same diet so I doubt I actually have any health issues either. My vitamin D was low average so they recommended that I take twice the daily allowance of Vitamin D which can cause liver damage in high dosages. I told them I would take the daily recommended amount and spend more time in the sun. That was a 430 dollar appointment! 😊

The cardiologist said I was going to need to take it every day instead. I told him I know why my LDL increased and I have begun my dietary changes to get it back under control. He asked, “like what”. I told him too much sugar and carbs. He said, “sugar doesn’t have anything to do with LDL or cholesterol. He also informed me the new goal for LDL IS 55. Doctors type in your disease, age, and the program lists medications you need to be on. You just have to ask the doctor the numbers on each medication. Do your own research on how each medication, how it works, side effects and find a balance between what works for you and what does not. You are responsible to work with your doctor for the best balance with life style chances and medications. Your doctor is required to give you full disclosure of each medication they prescribe. Most doctors are truly only interested in helping there patients. They love to have a patient that asks questions and wants to live a healthier life. Saying no should not end in gaslighting from a true competent doctor.

Statins gave me a severe myalgia, so severe I had trouble walking. That was some years ago. My cardiologist recognized it when I hobbled into my checkup. I was all set to go to an orthopedic doctor as I felt I had damaged something in my back. I had no idea muscle pain was a side effect, common in many, severe in some.
The cardiologist took me off statins and my back immediately improved.
To this day that spot in my back will occasionally flair up. The doctor says might not ever go away. And for what, for a drug that has no effect on patients who have never had a heart issue. Insane.
But this taught me a lesson. When the clot shot came out I said hell no. Smelling like a rose on that one.
