So we said goodbye to our first home in El Salvador and started the hunt for a new place to live. Meet the pup, and let us show you around!

You guys are so kind hearted. You guys adopted a "chucho aguacatero," or a avocado dog as we call them in El Salvador. We call strays dogs avocado dogs bc they will eat just about anything but it's very common to find them scavenging on rotten avocados that fall off avocado trees, or at least that's what my parents told me when I was young. I also like the new place and I'm glad such good people like yourselves have made El Salvador your new home. Hugs from NY!

This type of dogs we used to call them aguacateros. They are natives of El Salvador as for the new house is beautiful. Maybe one of this days I might come and stay for a while. You guys are pushing me to think that I want to go back home.

Blessed you. Asics condition is a cold reminder of what we all live at one degree or another within the fiat plantation. A big hug for all 3 of you.
When they're not ripe you can pick those plantains and make them into crisps
Ripe they have a yellow with many black spots appearance like a cheetah. you can pan fry those and eat with pureed beans and cream or mash them and use them as empanada dough

You guys saved his life, he's a very handsome boy, maybe it was fate having a house with no walls that you guys met Asic, he picked you guys as his new owners, you're not gonna regret it, being a dog owner myself, they bring so much joy to your life. I couldn't stop laughing when Jessica is showing the backyard where the pool is and says this is a place where you can hang out and chill out as she smacks that tumbler hard on the table 😂

Hello guys!!! Okay,you have moved to another place,great!!! But be careful when going to the beach because once we were there and noticed the beach is diferent,a little more dangerous because of the inclination??(I found like this in french and excuse me!!) and you know this feeling when the tide is down(low)the atraction is stronger...so be careful!!!

Also for the banana tree, those are plantains. You can keep waiting a little bit longer or use them now. Now you can use them for tostones, not the most salvadoran thing but tostones are great. Cut them up into relatively thick slices (about an inch) and pan/deep fry those until softer but not crispy, then take them out, grab a can or a glass and smash them, keep frying until golden and delicious. To ripen the plantains and eat the "platano" salvadoran style for breakfast or dinner just wait a little longer in the tree, and cut them. They'll still look unripe, thats ok, just store them in a cupboard wrapped in newspaper or paper towels until they are looking way way way too ripe. Like black skin and soft. Way riper than one would eat a banana, black skin, and then you can cut them in half lenghwise and make your platano frito sweet and for breakfast/dinner pan fried. Two totally different ways of using them. Green is starchy and great, super ripe is very sweet and nice and soft. Way riper than you'd use a banana. Enjoy!

Those aguacatero dogs can very cute and protective. Do not let their little frame fool you. That dog will protect you from anything. A nicer place in my opinion. The pool looks so nice. Have fun!!!

About the bananas ( guineos) wait till they are yellow and you have to cut the whole thing and put it inside your house otherwise birds can come and start to eat it
Sad news! Our landlord came by, chopped them off the tree, and took off. Apparently they were promised to her sister before we signed the contract. Disappointing, but we've been assured all future bananas belong to us, and that fresh coconuts will be dropped off as thanks for our understanding.
@@twopeopleinparadise too bad the landlord did that, that was stupid from his part,but pls. Be patient, wait for a while you" LL have your own bananas eventually , those bananas trees give bananas all year round !! Take care
