- Jose and Kevin Martinez are two brothers who returned to El Salvador in 2021 to participate in the renewal and reconstruction of their home country. Inspired to restore honor and pride to their family and nation, and to create jobs for their fellow Salvadorans, the two brothers created Hotel Martinez, a special place in beautiful Playa Las Flores where people can come to experience the beauty of El Salvador and the warmth of its people.

There was a civil war aided and abetted by the US government in 70s, salvadorans fled due to civil unrest only for some to return to be terrorized by government backed Ms 13 and 18th st gang members if you would stay in these circumstances then no you would be lying...

If both your parents are proud of you, excellent! Sadly my father wasn't proud of me because I was born in the US. His arrogance and his manipulation skills is what ended our relationship for good that I decided to disown him since 2002 when I was 22 years old. A very difficult thing to do to a very close family member. Because of my father, I support on building the US-Mexico border and I'm 100% against illegal immigration for the protection of american born babies, toddlers and kids and young teenagers.

Wow, to have that level of maturity at 22 year old is amazing, most of the time we focus on President Bukele, with all the reasons, but I think we forget that is the people living in El Salv that is making this transformation to happen also...

Before I would never think of El Salvador as a vacation spot, but all the changes that Bukele have done, i'm intrigue to visit this beautiful country someday.
El Salvador currently has lower homicide rates than the US and Canadas believe it or not. 2.5/100,000 homicides compare to 6.5/100,000 in the US.

I think we're moving more towards a world where people listen to their guts and take chances, like these courageous young men here. And the universe always rewards courage! I am so optimistic about the future in general but especially about the future of El Salvador. They seem to be pioneering the art of 'how a nation could / should be'. Lovely!

@@twopeopleinparadise I stayed in palo verde in January , it was really nice but small and pricier . This place looks better and it’s a little more affordable , for sure will be on my list when I go end of the year.
