It hasn't been a picnic, but I promise that all those thorns are short lived and they will fall away over time. Remember every beautiful pearl was once a grain of sand that really irritated an oyster!

Get a stackable washer and dryer put it in yoir kitchen until expand. Just make your kids keep their shoes and sports stuff in their rooms and get over the door hanging racks for shoes/jackets, ect. I know you're going to build in the future, but I'm guessing it's not starting right away, so I think that would be the most efficient way to use yoir space right now. Not to mention the amount of toys each kid has, so having their own room to keep their toys would be way less chaotic.
I agree! I would keep the other room and turn it into a bedroom for one of the kids. Or Maybe you could give Presley & Landon their own rooms. I have 3 kids, and just seeing the backyard opening directly onto the water would give me nightmares. I want a yard where the kids can play without needing constant supervision, as I'd never get anything done because I'd have to be outside all the time. Or the kids would be forced to play inside when I have things to do.
I live in the country and still watch my kids when they are outside. I take time to spend time with them and then everything else will gets done later. Maybe that's what she does. Which I applaud her for.
I also live in the countryside, and do spend a lot of time outdoors with my boys. Whether it’s gardening together, shared play or me simply watching them playing on their own. Thought everyone is Australia! We legally have to fence any body of water such as pools, ponds or dams. Children could so quickly and easily get out the door and drown on this property. No way would I ever live here.
You have the right idea. I try to always embrace what I need for my family, and I would def move to Hawaii if that was what we needed to be whole. Nothing has to be permanent is this day and age. Be happy!
I have 6 kids and live in a small house. People say I need a big house, but I love having a small one! Why? Because it keeps everyone together. You're always around your family. It fosters closeness, working together, always enjoying each other, strong relationships etc. Kids learn to have to work together and how to be around each other. This makes for happier relationships and fighting almost none existent. Small houses are awesome!
Idk why but you being vulnerable in the intro and then seeing the walk in to the house... Brianna it made my heart so happy. We can tell you're changing but it seems like a positive thing. Love the house it's so beautiful and the view is beautiful too. ❤
I have water and I dont have fence , everyone saw the house and the back yard said are we going to put fence but, I didnt because I like the view and the surprise nobody walked into the water not even children.
I don’t like the message you are trying to get across when it comes to mental health. Most of us struggling are searching for something much deeper than a new house in Hawaii to feel we should exist in this world. Maybe I took this all wrong, but I’ve been following for years and none of this new journey you’re on makes much sense to me. And this isn’t a hate comment, I just don’t understand.
There has to be more to this story I feel like they a running away from something if anything this would destroy my mental health more not being near my immediate family
I agree moving to Hawaii won’t solve your problems. Hawaii’s suicide rate was actually higher than Ohio’s in 2019. 🤷🏻♀️ At the same time I wish Bri and family the best and I hope this change brings all the happiness they are looking for.
Omg! Brianna, Congratulations you guys!! I'm so happy for you all! I just want to say that you are a huge inspiration to me and thank you for Sharing your beautiful personality every single week. Can wait to see the tour!!🤩
May be it would be better to give each child a room and not to use a whole room for a closet?! They are a boy and a girl and it would be inconvenient for them to dress in but it is up to you
So happy for you. You look so happy and at peace. Bigger houses are more labor intensive and with 3 kids, it's definitely overwhelming. Keeping it minimal and simple is definitely the way to go. Because it means more time for Ohana and that is what Hawaiians cherish.
I am divorced mom with two kids and it's always a struggle to make ends meet. Sometimes I feel like I can't do it anymore but I have to, for my kids. Love always from Trinidad the Caribbean.
House is pretty small for your family....but with renovations it should work. Girls should definitely have a room separate from the brothers. I worry abt that water behind the house...hopefully fence will keep kiddos away from that body of water
For the record, siblings do not HAVE to share rooms based on gender. It's traditional, but not necessary, and each family deserves to make their own choice. Congratulations on the new home Bri!!
It seems u need to do a lot of reno to make this work for you. Curious why you bought this house and didn’t look for a more “ready now” house? Possibly just a really tough market in hawaii right now?
I think in the long run you should leave it a bedroom so all kids can have a bedroom cause when they are older there going to want to have there own room especially your daughter away from her brothers.
Is anyone else concerned about the water in their back garden not being off and them having the young kids? I truly hope that they do something about that!! That said, what a beautiful house! Is this their new permanent home then? Xx
thank you for such positive videos..yes you are a boss mom..you can do all the thing..keep going..love yourself..you are not alone..we are all with you..we want your videos..for our relaxation and boosting our energy and for loving our family and kidoos..thank you my dear😊
Hi Bri ! The house is beautiful!! Just a curious question - Will the kids stick to the lawn since it has a large water body directly and they are small ? Do you have plans on adding a fence or something to restrict them ?
Bri, I just want to say THANK YOU for putting together such positive, beautiful, and enjoyable videos for us. I can't imagine all the time it takes to edit and create such high level content that we all get to enjoy. Thank you for all that you do as a UA-camr.
I would be hesitant to get rid of a bedroom for resale. Whatever you do, I'd make it so you could install a set of french doors when you open that wall in the event that you move. Also for laundry, I don't know if there's a linen closet in the hallway where you could fit a stackable washer/dryer. I'd also just LIVE in your house for a few months before you change anything. You may end up using the spaces differently than you imagine now
I would personally live in a space for 3-6 months before making permanent changes. You may not mind the washer outside or may prefer storage elsewhere. Living day to day in your new space will show you what you truly need and prefer.
The house is perfect. One thing you should remember - if the owners are in the house (and it sounded like they were), it's generally considered rude to talk about remodeling/changing things that they've done to the house. What will you do about the river (lake) running behind your house with the small kids? Will you fence it in?
Soo happy for you guys! Thanks for all your positive words and being there for us. It truely has helped me realize I need to fight for what I want in life and not everyone to help every other person to be happy and put my self first for once!
It’s a beautiful home! Congratulations!! ☀️ You can make walk in pantry/laundry/storage area in the office room you were thinking. I would remove those cabinets on the wall... Also later in life, Presley can have her own room and Landon can share with Hayden 😊 It’s definitely Adam and your decision in all things!! You are so kind. Thank you for taking us on your journey of life. It’s great to see other people happy and encourage others to be happy! ❤️💐

I think the boy's should be together and your daughter should have her own room. If your down sizing why are you thinking of expansions? I love the way everything is. The washer and dryer; do you have to go outside or can you get to it from in side?
I am hoping this move brings you all the happiness and peace of mind you long for! I do agree Presley should have her own room and the boys share a room.
Beautiful house! I suggest just living in the new space before making big changes. Living in a small home is so nice and easier to keep up with. IMO focus on the outdoor renovations because that's where most of the time will be spent.💗
Congratulations on your beautiful new home! I always loved your vlogs, but I've been so busy and missed a lot lately. I'll keep you and your beautiful family in my prayers. Be blessed.
Thank you for sending out the encouragement. I myself struggle with anxiety and depression. I’m looking forward to continuing to follow your journey. Blessings and Peace ❤️
Omg!! Bri I'm so happy for you and your family. I'm right with you with the mental health. I think all of us can relate to some degree of having anxiety or depression. Hang in there sweetie!! I have been so overwhelmed myself with going through clutter and trying to downsize. As well as we have been having renovations to our home. It just is too much! Enjoy your new home!! I pray that y'all stay safe and healthy and happy!!🙏❤
I find it odd that Presley and Landon have to share a room. They’ll be too old sooner than you think to share. I would scratch the “drop zone” and keep the room so each kid can have their own room.
I absolutely love your new home. It’s so peaceful and light and airy.. I honestly feel like this is where your family is meant to be. So excited for your new journey and for all the new decorating and reno🥳🙏🏻💕💕
It's a lovely home! I live in a 3 bedroom/2 bath ranch with 4 children, however, our full basement has 2 bedrooms, rec. room, an office, a laundry room, and a full bathroom. Despite being very organized, I'm not sure I could have done it without the basement. You are definitely going to have to get very creative with using space as well as embrace minimalism. I personally would not eliminate a bedroom, however, I understand that having a laundry room inside the house as well as an office is very necessary. I would personally close off the window facing the side of the house in your living room and make that the TV wall. Additionally, I would put a sectional on the other side facing it which would act as your buffer, and put a half wall there to separate it from the entryway. As for your master closet ... you will definitely have to keep your wardrobe limited but given you will probably not need bulky winter clothes, you will likely have enough room even a small dresser in that closet. Hayden's closet looks like it might be larger than what he needs so you may be able to share some space with him. Eventually, I see the 2 boys sharing a room and Presely having her own room. Best wishes to you and your family!
Congratulations on your new home. It is and will be perfect for you and your family. I love all your renovation ideas but the great thing is that you can easily live in it now and work on the house as time permits. 🏡❤
I'm so happy for u and ur family! That backyard is a dream! Looking at it brought so much peace to me! I can only imagine just how much peace it brings u and ur family! ❤️
You are not alone Bri , I loved the q&a video it Was so helpful . I also suffer W depression and social anxiety . It is always good to here we Are not alone . So nice to see you so happy and smiling . Now I will watch the video !!!
Hi, congratulations on your new home. When I saw your master bedroom closet and you mentioned possibly putting a dresser in it, I suddenly thought why not do custom built-in dressers with drawers on both the left and the right sides, with the drawers facing the clothing rod? Thereby using the corner spots of both the left and right sides. You could take the built-in’s right up to the top of the closet area. The drawers might be not as deep, but you would have a lot of drawer space to the top for both of you, with still room for a hanging rod, or a double hanging rod.
I have severe depressive disorder and PTSD and I have no one on earth. I have 6 children who never check on me. I had open heart surgery almost 2 yrs ago. I'm so happy for you and your family.
Your house 🏡 is super beautiful!!! I can’t wait to see your house 🏡 transformation! Y’all are truly an amazing family! Just the fact that you are so encouraging and caring toward others-though you may have your own struggles. Thank you 🙏🏽 and God bless:))
I think this move has helped to ground you, and that is awesome. I always did think it was wasteful how many new things you'd buy for birthday parties and all of the holidays over the years. Keep your favourites and use them time and time again! Starting fresh and moving forward by focusing on family time rather than things/material items is sure to bring you and your family happiness. All the best!
Congratulations Bri! So happy for you and your family and I pray for continued happiness, success and love for you all! Thank you for being exactly who you are because you have helped me realize I am not alone in this crazy world when it comes to being a wife, mother and daughter.
So many wonderful ideas! I would suggest having a professional interior architect reconfigure your current space to meet your needs. They would know about how close you can build to your property line etc.
The house is beautiful! I'm curious why you want to have Landon and Presley share a room instead of having both boys share a room? Hawaii looks so fun!
The boys will probably share a room once Hayden is a bit older and sleeping through the night. I’d prefer the kids the share a room while they can so they aren’t woken by the baby.
@@kimberlynnkunkle4601 My girls have shared a room from the beginning so that they got used to each other's noises and stuff. Everyone is different though. No right or wrong way, I was just genuinely curious.

You have a lovely home to move into, you will definitely need to go through everything at your old home, because it won’t fit in this new house, but knowing your skills, you can definitely do it, also I was worried with your children and the open water, until I saw the gated garden and I’m assuming the children will play in that bit, unless with you and Adam?
Is it a house or a trailer??
This is a 1.3 Million Dollar House. Might be small, but it’s more about location and views
are you nervous with kids and the backyard being up against water? do you plan on fencing?
I have water and I dont have fence , everyone saw the house and the back yard said are we going to put fence but, I didnt because I like the view and the surprise nobody walked into the water not even children.
I don’t like the message you are trying to get across when it comes to mental health. Most of us struggling are searching for something much deeper than a new house in Hawaii to feel we should exist in this world. Maybe I took this all wrong, but I’ve been following for years and none of this new journey you’re on makes much sense to me. And this isn’t a hate comment, I just don’t understand.
Why and what do you need to understand exactly?
There has to be more to this story I feel like they a running away from something if anything this would destroy my mental health more not being near my immediate family
I agree moving to Hawaii won’t solve your problems. Hawaii’s suicide rate was actually higher than Ohio’s in 2019. 🤷🏻♀️
At the same time I wish Bri and family the best and I hope this change brings all the happiness they are looking for.
It’s her way of dealing with it, everyone is different. You should be happy for her she was able to find HER peace of mind.
@@amberg5091 I agree!
Omg! Brianna, Congratulations you guys!! I'm so happy for you all! I just want to say that you are a huge inspiration to me and thank you for Sharing your beautiful personality every single week. Can wait to see the tour!!🤩
Thank you so so much!!! ❤️
May be it would be better to give each child a room and not to use a whole room for a closet?! They are a boy and a girl and it would be inconvenient for them to dress in but it is up to you
She did say they want to build up and add two more rooms, eventually each kid WILL have their own room I'm assuming 🤷
Aloha Pineapples 🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍
😂😂😂
Aloha! Pineapples! 😂😂😂🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍🍍
Shakeela: you should be so proud of yourself for doing it and being so strong 🥰💕💕💕💕
@@KateBee123 Thank you for your kind words.🌷
House is pretty small for your family....but with renovations it should work. Girls should definitely have a room separate from the brothers. I worry abt that water behind the house...hopefully fence will keep kiddos away from that body of water
For the record, siblings do not HAVE to share rooms based on gender. It's traditional, but not necessary, and each family deserves to make their own choice. Congratulations on the new home Bri!!
It seems u need to do a lot of reno to make this work for you. Curious why you bought this house and didn’t look for a more “ready now” house? Possibly just a really tough market in hawaii right now?
Buy cheaper and this way they can make it 100% theirs and how they want it
1mil + dollar home is not cheaper.
@@tehanireyes9956 maybe that’s cheaper for home prices in Hawaii.
I think in the long run you should leave it a bedroom so all kids can have a bedroom cause when they are older there going to want to have there own room especially your daughter away from her brothers.
Seasonal depression is terrible. I’m SO glad you’re thriving in Hawaii!! Such a dream come true! ☀️💕
YIKES - the small space gives me anxiety and this small house to live in would cause me a depression
Bri, I just want to say THANK YOU for putting together such positive, beautiful, and enjoyable videos for us. I can't imagine all the time it takes to edit and create such high level content that we all get to enjoy. Thank you for all that you do as a UA-camr.
Aww thank you so much for the kind words! Sending you lots of love! ❤️
@@BriannaK I agree 100%. Bless you and your lovely family🙏🏼❤
I think they bought the house
My guess is that was the realtor not the owners in the background
Soo happy for you guys! Thanks for all your positive words and being there for us. It truely has helped me realize I need to fight for what I want in life and not everyone to help every other person to be happy and put my self first for once!
Memorial Day
Be at peace
Be fortunate/grateful
Do not make the house complicated
Go to the beach
It’s a beautiful home! Congratulations!! ☀️
You can make walk in pantry/laundry/storage area in the office room you were thinking. I would remove those cabinets on the wall...
Also later in life, Presley can have her own room and Landon can share with Hayden 😊
It’s definitely Adam and your decision in all things!! You are so kind. Thank you for taking us on your journey of life. It’s great to see other people happy and encourage others to be happy! ❤️💐
The saying goes,When cardinals appear, loved ones are near. Your Dad came to see your new home,Bri! How awesome is that?!....Congratulations and lots of love.
Congratulations Brianna & family!!!🎉 So happy for ya'll! The time we have with our loved ones really is all that we could possibly need. Wishing you & your beautiful family continued blessings through & through!!! 😘
Minimalists don’t need sheds get rid of it 😀
Congratulations I'm glad you are finally starting to make Hawaii a home for you and your family. Continue to do what is best for your family, we all have a journey and each journey is different. Love the new home 💖💖🤗🤗
I loved the ocean view you had before. So calming.
I love the house!! Thank you for what you said at the end. I’m sitting here bawling my eyes out. I needed to hear what you said, God put you in the perfect place for me. Thank you 💖
You sound exhausted 😴 I hope 🤞🏼 now that you’ve found your home you can breath a little deeper now 🥰
I love you Bri! You are so amazing! It makes me smile seeing you so happy! ❤️❤️❤️
aww thanks so much Bekah! xoxo
I think the boy's should be together and your daughter should have her own room. If your down sizing why are you thinking of expansions? I love the way everything is. The washer and dryer; do you have to go outside or can you get to it from in side?
I love how you did everything and how you are loving life! Keep doing what makes you happy!
Be blessed.
It looks like a cozy, spectacular view, farm house style, brings lot of happiness kind of home 🤩
Thank you for sending out the encouragement. I myself struggle with anxiety and depression. I’m looking forward to continuing to follow your journey. Blessings and Peace ❤️
Sending you lots of love Teresa! ❤️
Renovating doesn't seem so healthy for someone struggling with their mental health. Accept & be happy with what U have.
Think about bunking the boys together and giving P her own space
It’s beautiful but will be paradise when you make it your own! You have such a magic touch! Looking forward to watching the transition. 🥰
What happened to the house you guys were building back home? I remember you gave a tour of that house.
They decided not to build it
What a beautiful home!! Congratulations I'm so glad you guys found a house!! Living in Hawaii is such a dream!
Kim. You are so positive and uplifting. 👍🏻
That house is so small
Yay! Beautiful location and I know you’ll make it your own! Great idea for a drop zone. That will give you so much space to work with!
Everyones laundry is outside in Hawaii and most hang clothes to dry instead of using the dryer.
Soon people will learn its not what we have. It's who we have. We are simple people
Yeah I was just going to say that. Being that I was born and raised there it was just the norm
You are not alone Bri
,
I loved the q&a video it
Was so helpful . I also suffer
W depression and social anxiety . It is always good to here we
Are not alone . So nice to see you so happy and smiling .
Now I will watch the video !!!
Embrace minimalism,, when you have "stuff" you are always mentally managing the inventory, let it go, wishing you many more blessings!
No kidding. I agree.
So true!
Very wise words
@Doreen Caron I needed to see this today, thank you for sharing
It's absolutely beautiful Bri & I can't wait to see what all you guys do with it! The yard & view is a dream! Congrats to you & your family!!
The Mountain View is everything. I cannot wait for the transformation
So many wonderful ideas! I would suggest having a professional interior architect reconfigure your current space to meet your needs. They would know about how close you can build to your property line etc.
EXACTLY and that wall she wants to tear down could be load bearing. She needs a consultation.
Totally just curious, why not build if you want to customize so much of it? Not trying to be mean, I’m genuinely just curious!
Its beautiful so happy for you guys and thank u for your openness with your mental health struggles u have really encouraged me to keep working on it and find your happiness thank u
Woooow! Brianna!!! I’m so so happy for you all!! Congratulations on finally getting your new home! May it be a beautiful place for you to raise your family!!
Love the plans you have and I know it’s going to be a perfect journey for you all. Congratulations and be happy xx
I lived in a 900 sqfoot apartment for over ten years and you would be surprised how much you can fit ! Build in overhead storages where u can.
Daughter will eventually need her own room. House is nice.
Can't wait to see how everything progresses, such a nice home.
So thrilled for your sweet family and for this chapter of your life!!! Wishing you nothing but the best! ♥️
