Using these blueprints I found the centre line on the rear view definitely off as you can tell by the badge. It should cut straight through but is off a little. I solved this by cutting the cube in half and used a mirror modifier. This showed exactly where the centre should be and I lined up the blueprint to this.
Wireframe turns the image place to wireframe too. What am I doing wrong? so I can do @1:08? thanks EDIT - found it: Select box object > Object Properties > Viewport Display > Check Wireframe > Model in viewport shading mode. There's probably another way, but this fixed it for me.
i have an issue. when ever i try to align the reference images it doesn't turn out good. i followed your tutorial second by second and followed some others. but still bad at aligning the images
If you have a numpad you can press 5 to go into orthographic mode which makes it possible to see the reference images. Other buttons will also allow you to switch between views. 7 for instance allows you to see the top view, and the 3 lets you see a side view and so on, but it only works when in orthographic view.
