In a class I am taking each references is one angle of the object which I believe would also work in this situation, so essentially one image reference will only have the front of the car, another the side, and so forth. In this case since they are all populating the same reference object this needs to be done. Excellent and thanks for also showing this.
I usually just press nump-1 and add the image from there, that way XYZ is correct, without needing to rotate. (Only 1:33 in, will watch more, need all the tips I can get!) :) Then nump-3 for side view, ctrl-nump-1/3 for opposite front/side view if needed and nump-7 for top. Edit: And yes, cut and scale in Gimp or Photoshop.

Hello I can't get the photo reference to line up exactly because they're of different photos of the same model how do I properly get them to line up at the same size. I can't seem to manipulate the photo to fit. I can only make it large and small not bend the photo etc.

When looking at the image, one image goes invisible at an angle so only the other is visible. It is very frustrating, do you know how to fix that?

aline the scale in glimp or photoshop, then import to blender.
