Ok, so Kyle's point was the over half of American's wanted to raise taxes on the rich. So what he's saying is over half of American's are ok with someone else paying an even higher share of money, which might lower how much they have to pay. Wow crazy talk that means that it MUST be a good and smart thing to do. And what is wrong with defending the rich when they earn it the right way. Jeff Bezos came up with a fantastic idea that revolutionized how we shopped. It was his idea, he took the risk, and if his website crashes he loses all that money he earned. He's already taxed at what somewhere in the ballpark of 47%. It's not like the guy is not taxed. And I agree it is a tragedy that we have homeless people, but again is it the rich's fault that they are homeless? Jeff Bezos has created how many jobs? He has pumped up the economy how much? This means he has helped thousands of people acquire jobs to keep them from being homeless. If taxes are raised to high what's to keep some of these rich people from moving the bulk of their business and companies to other countries to reduce costs further? (Oh and I just saw this video in case you're wondering why I'm so late)
Kyle's video should be used as a Progressive instructional tool of how to conduct an interview. He was unapologetic like a Republican, used offensive rather than defensive tactics, stuck to the issues like a true Progressive, and came out on top. Really great job Kyle, you made us proud.
I wholeheartedly agree. This is how every progressive should sound like and this is the way they should be in Congress. Corporate Dems lay down like dogs to Republicans even when they had a majority in 2008. Republicans bully Democrats all of the time. We need these progressives to punch back hard. I don't think the response matters at all. Nobody who feels disenfranchised was watching that clip. Fox has all the analytics on their televised segments. They know who's watching at all times, otherwise they wouldn't risk airing a reporter badgering someone in an interview. Kyle did the best he could but appearing on fox at all was a catch 22.
Even shotgunning info the way he did, the segment had already overclocked the attention span of the average viewer by at least two minutes.

There are other examples as well which are at least sometimes contributed to the left. I think this is part of he means by letting the left speak, not necessarily the politicians in the left but the people of the left & hate travels further than love. He really should have raised the effective vs. marginal rate issue. That would challenge the host's claim in the Bush clip, and time would be made to address it further. Watching the clip back, when the guy makes the claim that progressives want to abolish law enforcement Kyle calls him on it. The guy then asks if ICE is part of Law Enforcement and then Kyle, instead of pointing out what he did in his breakdown of the exchange about the guy seemingly referring to law enforcement as a whole, for some reason went into the history of ICE instead.
