I was 16 when the album was released in December 1976, in the days when you knew you were going to love every song on the albums of your favourite groups and artists. No Apple Music or Spotify then. I live in Australia and we would have to pre-order a vinyl album, paying a deposit, to avoid missing out when they sold out upon release (it was probably the same in other countries). Oh, the pure excitement of collecting your ordered album when it came in to the store, then racing home to listen to the whole thing. We were rarely disappointed, and with Hotel California, we were blown away. Absolutely loved every song, and I still do. The Eagles' album Desperado was the first album I purchased for myself at the age of 14, and so began my love affair with the Eagles. Finally saw them live at Rod Laver Arena, Melbourne, Australia in 2004 and they certainly didn't disappoint. They were amazing!!
I was there! My late husband and I were given tickets as a wedding gift! 25 rows back center! I won't lie it smelled a lot like weed. The thing you don't know is that each member of the group is a lead singer. Best concert of my life , except for the original Woodstock. That's another story. New subscriber here.
I was 8 years old when this song came out but I still remember it well! I have loved the eagles for over 50 years! They can all sing lead ‼️ need to check out Joe Walsh song Rocky mountain Way he is the one in the bandana
I was in my twenties in the 70’s and in my opinion this is one of the best live performances I’ve ever seen. I went to a lot of concerts back then and it’s always so great to watch young people rediscovering the music that I grew up listening to all day every day! 💙👵🏼☮️
Wow, that was such a long time and I’m sure your youth was fun because of them.. I enjoyed every second of the music…love and light to you from Africa ❤️💡
I was 15 when I got this album for Christmas, and so began my life-long love for lead guitar. My all-time favorite guitar performance is Lynyrd Skynyrd, Oakland, 1977.
I was 20yrs old when I saw them perform this concert promoting the album. Not this particular show but one in Boston. Today I am 68. I actually saw the Eagles twice, the first time was at Cal Jam 1, in April of 1974.
Hands down best how to do a reaction video u didn't stop u input small comments during but let video play then saved commenrs untol the end nice job my man
I was 12, went to my first concert in 1977. Kansas, Point of Know Return tour in my hometown, Phila., Pa. I also started smoking that year, I just quit Dec 1st, started smoking 420 that year, went to R rated movies in the theater for the first time, '77 was quite a year for me. What fun we had, what incredible music and movies came out. A year later we were going out to the teen dance night (disco) wearing 3-piece suits. Thank God I was young then and not now.
Los Clásicos e inolvidables Eagles ❤️. Maravilloso tema. Gracias por traerlos a tu canal!! Muchos likes para tí 😊 Saludos desde Chile, Sudamérica al fin del mundo...🇨🇱
Hello Eddy, this is my first time sitting in with you today, thank you for allowing me to do that! I subscribed and left a like for you while I was here! I thoroughly enjoyed your reaction to this great song! I especially liked your comments after the song was over! How are you? Deb
@eddybassreacts I don't see the point in coming if I don't stay until the end, that doesn't help you if I don't stay! It's a commitment that I made when I started viewing reactors to stay until the end! I know from my children that it helps the algorithm! Best of luck with your channel Eddy!
Great reaction, and I liked hearing about your playing; so, I went and watched a Highlife video of, Mr. Eq And Alice' song, "Egwu Oma." Pretty song, and I see what you mean about the bass style.
Awesome! It’s beautiful to have an experience of music from other parts of the world, I’m glad you did. If you need any more recommendations for amazing highlife bands, just let me know😀

WoooW, that’s maaaany years ago…I guess the experience then was really enjoyable for and still fresh till now😃
I was 16 yrs old...love the Eagles
Wow... Must have been a beautiful experience for the first time
There’s a lot of talent on that stage. All of them, except for the one on the double neck guitar, take turns singing lead.
I agree with you.. Amazing individuals, all of them..

I was 16 in 1977 and what a great time to be alive and 16….❤ The 70's music no need to say more!!🎸🎤🎶🎷
Wow, I’m sure you had fun with these songs in your youth 😃❤️
Saw the Eagles the last year they had this classic lineup. Perfectionists to a one. Incredible live sound.
Amazing!!! I’m sure it was an awesome experience
The dual guitars at the end make it worth the wait.🤩🤩
Truly, was worth it… enjoyed every second of the piece though
In Take it easy Same Concert they also battled and Joe in my opinion won😂

I was 16 when this came out. A masterpiece. The guitarist with the bandanna on is Joe Walsh, who is one of the best musicians in Rock music.
Wow, really loved his play…he’s dynamic with his sound
I was 5 in 1977 and I remember watching this concert on TV with my parents. The Eagles were one of the biggest bands in the world at that time!!
Wow, what a time of beautiful music it was, I guess

Oh wow, I hope you play the guitar?😃

Yes - the guitars harmonizing at the end. Brilliant playing. One of the most talented bands ever.
I totally agree with you, all geniuses
