Yeah there's only a few bands where you can see each one of them go on to have careers with other bands and/ or solo. I'll even toss nirvana in there because with respect I believe Dave grohl what's the most talented member. The Beatles obviously.

Even the last song after 3 hours of playing (mostly on the drums) Don still hit every note of Desperado pitch perfect with power and conviction..... in his 60s..... Don Felder plays the double neck. Joe Walsh plays the 2nd lead. Each of them are masters in their own right, but together they are incomparable. This is truly a masterpiece. I actually used to think this song was about a man who got into a car crash and wound up in purgatory. "Up ahead in the distance, I saw a shimmering light" would be him driving into the headlights of another car, then "My head grew heavy and my sight grew dim, I had to stop for the night" would be him dying. "This could be heaven or this could be hell" is him wondering where he wound up, "we are prisoners here of our own device" and "you can never leave" hinting at the nature of where he is. Even though I've since learned the intention was that the song is based on the celebrity industry, I still love my own interpretation of it lol

Very humble and shy, which ended up making him leave the band when he didn’t feel he could hit that last high note for every concert on take it to the limit, and Glenn Frey bullied him till they fist fought, and Randy quit. Sometimes when we think about heaven and hell, we think literal clouds or fire, but until we feel that dread deep-down, that true regret that haunts us at our very core, we really don't know what it's like to be trapped in hell. I love that Hotel California is about whatever you need it to be about. It can be about addiction or about a brothel or about infidelity and it works, no matter what. The human soul knows how it feels to be bad, and it can feel good, until it comes time for it to be over, then we have to pay the check. That feeling of existential pleasure and dread at knowing that you can never take back what you just did, it's forever haunting and it's the story of all of our lives. I love this song so much.

Also, every man on that stage is the lead singer for at least one or two songs as well. They are all singers. The guitarist, Don Felder wrote the music, and Henley wrote the words to the music.

Don Henley (singing this song and on drums) and Glenn Frey (acoustic guitar on far left - wearing univ colorado shirt) were co-lead singers for the band. All of the members added vocals to songs from time to time though! Joe Walsh (illinois sweatshirt on far right) also sang lead on a few songs. Don Felder on the 12 string and Joe absolutely shred on this song. That guitar solo is iconic.

My all time favorite band, I have my dad to thank for that!! They have so many great albums and songs! Don Henley who sings and plays drums, happens to be my favorite Eagle! His solo stuff is amazing too!! This reaction got me hyped for their upcoming show later this month!! It’ll be my 4th time seeing them!! The line “they stab it with their steely knives…” is a nod to the band Steely Dan, who is opening for them!!

You just did a reaction to Jackson Browne. He is closely associated with The Eagles, particularly in the early years of their careers. One of the most significant connections between Jackson Browne and the Eagles is the song "Take It Easy," which became one of the Eagles' signature hits.
In the early 1970s, Jackson Browne co-wrote "Take It Easy" with Glenn Frey, a founding member of the Eagles. The story goes that Browne had written a portion of the song but was having difficulty completing it. Frey heard what Browne had and suggested some changes to the lyrics, leading to the completion of the song.
"Take It Easy" was released on the Eagles' debut album in 1972, and it became a major hit, reaching the top 20 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. This success helped launch the Eagles' career, and the song remains one of their most iconic tracks.
While this collaboration is one of the most well-known instances of Jackson Browne's interaction with the Eagles, it's worth noting that Browne and members of the Eagles maintained a friendly relationship over the years, with occasional collaborations and performances together. Their connection through "Take It Easy" is a significant part of both artists' musical histories.

So the drummer/ singer ( Don Henry )..is in the rock hall both with the eagles and for his solo career as is . the acoustic guitar player ( Glen Fyre ) who was mentored by his good friend from age 16 or 17 by a 20-21 year old Bob Seager and the " other guitar player ) is in the rock hall with this band , another band ( the James Gang ) and for his solo career and one of the best guitar players ever...Joe Walsh...who Stevie Nicks ( F ). Of Fleetwood Mac , Fame called the love of her life even though they had split many years ago but remained friends...the double neck guitar player Dan Felden is/ was vastly underrated , the bassist ( Timothy Schmidt ) also did some lead vocals...incredible talent in one band

Glen Frey (May he rest in peace) is playing an acoustic/electric guitar. There’s a pickup in the body of the guitar that picks up the tone the guitar is resonating at and amplifies it. I’m sure he’s got a sizable amp behind it, because you can hear the rhythm guitar (his) in this recording.
Don Felder is on the double neck Gibson and Joe Walsh is on his Fender. Both amazing guitarists and artists in their own right.
Fun fact: Joe Walsh is married to Ringo Starrs’ wife’s sister, so they’re brother-in-laws. That’s why you see him show up and participate in Ringo’s All Starr Band occasionally.
If you want to see some great finger picking style on electric guitar, check out Dire Straights “Sultans of Swing” live in London. It will ROCK YOUR WORLD!

It’s essentially about how people are obsessed over everything but what’s really important. Material possessions, party’s, drugs etc. then get lost in those obsessions and forget who they are. That’s simplified but yeah. The guitarist with the red bandanna is Joe Walsh who was in a successful band before The Eagles then went on to have a very successful solo career.

Possibly the greatest song in rock history. I never get sick of this song, no matter how many times I hear it. Musically it’s off the charts. Lyrically, it’s a masterpiece, and the story can mean a lot of things for different people. I think The Eagles intent that is was meant to be about the music corporation in the Los Angeles area. To add further the lifestyle of Hollywood, and its surroundings. The parties, the boozing and schmoozing, the women, the cars, the drugs, and all of that superficial lifestyle. The Eagles were there living it in the 70’s & 80’s. Also I get a feeling of Santa Monica, Venice Beach, Pacific Palisades, and Malibu. All the parties in the beach cities, and rich homes.

The song is a metaphor about the allures of California. Also the music industry to a degree. People go to California because of the pretty image in their minds. Beautiful beaches, beautiful women, free love in the atmosphere, and also the fame you can get if you make it. But when you get there, you realize there is a dark side that no one talks about. You only find out when you get there. Lots of metaphors in there about beautiful women, sex, drugs, addiction, etc. Even in the beginning, he talks about the warm smell of Colitas rising up in the air. Colita flowers were named after a Spanish photographer who often talked about femininity and sexuality. Great storytelling, great symbolism, and it does a really good job making you have imagery as you listen. The later half of the song is about the feeling of being trapped. After experiencing the dark side, they want to escape, but can’t for one reason or another. Addiction, contracts, etc. and even if you are able to leave, the record labels still owns your name and Music. So you may be gone, but they still have you. even if you die.
