That's how it's done. A perfect live performance of a perfect song. These guys were beyond professional. One of these nights and Witchy Woman are great choices for the next listen.
My neighbors could always tell when my wife and I were home. Between this album, Boston, and a Night at the Opera. Still had my quadraphonic stereo and four speakers that I'd bought in Japan in 73and what's the use of having that stuff unless it's on 10. We were just married in June of that year, 76, and still married today. Have a great day kid !
Ain't that the truth! - I had forgotten about it until one day I asked my audio engineer son to download Santa Esmeralda "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood" for me & when it started playing, the music was bouncing all over his studio. He was shocked.😂You kids think 'Surround Sound' is new. We called quadraphonic in the 70s.
Truly one of the greatest bands ever. Every member is just incredible. They can all sing lead - and they do, depending on the song. The Great Joe Walsh is one of the the most talented guitarists ever!!
They all sing. Don Henley sings this one (and would sing more subsequent hits). For a treat, check out "Take It To The Limit" from this concert. That one features Randy Meisner (bassist) singing. His voice is incredible.
In the 80s, in clubs in Europe, they generally broadcast 2-3 'bamba' like (*) songs and then a series of 3-4 'slow' music on which people danced in pairs one against each other. Hotel California was 'the' classic. (*) On the 'bamba', people on the dance floor formed a dancing circle, and a few people in the middle chose a person of the opposite sex in the circle, the man put one knee on the ground, the woman sat on the other knee and they exchanged 2 kisses on the cheek, the person who had chosen then joined the circle and the chosen person in turn chose another person... Imagine this incredible time, it was absolutely brilliant, couples formed live every Saturday evening! and that why old couples usually have 'a song' over here. My buddy and I, who were known in the place we frequented, had fun kissing women directly on the mouth with the tongue and all! we never received a single slap in the face... I feel bad for young men these days.
The guy in the red bandanna is Joe Walsh, one of the best. Listen to his Funk Number 49 and then Life's Been good to me. And the Eagles never made a bad record.
Eagles performing the Don Henley hit "Dirty Laundry" is a really good listen. It's a critique of the media and their rabid pursuit of documenting the misfortune of others.
Great choice for most poignant lyrics...You can chew forever on what kind of dance would you love to remember, but long to forget...my other favorite is the last lines, "You can check out any time you like, but you can never leave." about the nature of fame and perhaps hell itself (as referenced with the "This could be heaven or this could be hell" intro line) You can never become un-famous...in-famous, yeah, but that's just another kind of fame...so you can check out in the mental or even physical sense, but you can never leave the mythology of the culture, just as you can give in to the tortures of hell, but you are still stuck in hell...Such good songwriting...Keep up the good work, peace yo!
I know these are probably not something you would think about, but I would really like to see you do Wide Open Spaces by The Chick's or literally anything from Garth Brooks. I'm 95% sure that you would like them.
I said I like Eagles and Bad Company in the live chat the other day. I'm glad you react to this song. I like their ''One of These Nights'', too. BTW, I'd like you to react to Japanese bands. Please check these out. Lovebites ''Holy War''Live Band Maid ''Domination''Live One Ok Rock''We Are''Live XG''Shooting Star''MV BE:FIRST''Boom Boom Back''MV I subbed to your channel. I'm looking forward to your reaction.
Glad you loved this video. While this is probably my fav from the Eagles they have dozens of other hits and classics. Just a suggestion for your reaction videos. Please enlarge the video screen to at least big enough to cover your couch beside you. some people have poor eyesight or watch on a phone so I'm sure they would appreciate that, and I like watching their guitar strumming. Liked your energy and enthusiasm.
Suggestion? You should have the lyrics up and follow along. The power of these lyrics and interpretation is a huge part of why this song is so iconic. “On a dark desert highway” opens like a movie….
Excellent job Always live or Video 50s threw 80s 😊
Nice reaction! Been a fan of the Eagles since the 70’s!✌🏻😎
Don Henley (lead vocals), Randy Meisner, Glen Frey, Don Felder and Joe Walsh are the band members in this video. Great reaction!
Glenn Frey sang a lot of their songs.
¡Masterpiece !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!11
You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave.
That's how it's done. A perfect live performance of a perfect song. These guys were beyond professional.
One of these nights and Witchy Woman are great choices for the next listen.
This never gets old even after all this time.
Eagles Greatest Hits recently bumped Thriller into second place as best selling album of all time…..Pink Floyd Dark zSide of the Moon at third place.
I can't tell you why
Seen the Eagles twice, once in the 70s and again after HELL FROZE OVER!
Me too!! With Linda Ronstead.. Day on the green San Francisco and Sacramento California ❤
my boy is truly branching out into new territory, nice.

Yes! You should check out some Boston.

Check out "Take It Easy","Witchy Woman","One Of These Nights","Take It To The Limit"............all classics!
Best rock band to come out of America.
Much love from FL
Life in the Fast Lane is a must listen. And I Can't Tell You Why shows their soft side.
This was THE song to play at birthday parties when I was a kid. Still tastes as good 47 years later. Cheers!

This is my 1st time to your channel.
Heart of the Matter... on a Don Henley solo album!! ❤️🔥
My Holy Trinity of Music...the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, the Eagles! 😎👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Make that guitar sing. I love that! ❤ Also that’s my fav. lyric from the song too. Great reaction to this masterpiece. ☺️

So many great Eagle hits to explore...you should listen to "Those Shoes"...whichever you choose, you can't go wrong
How about, “You can check out anytime you like, but you can never leave!”
Taken from a DOORS song .
From the same concert, here's *TAKE IT TO THE LIMIT* , sung by Randy Meisner, an iconic performance: ua-cam.com/video/XwXn0rKSEKM/v-deo.html
Best solo of history besides comfortably numb
It is great because it's a "duo solo": two musicians merge into one sonically.
@@njWordsmith Can we throw Zep in the mix?
You left out Lynyrd Skynyrd ‘s Free Bird Oakland Stadium 1977
@@raymondmanderville505 I always thought Molly Hatchett solo in Dreams I'll Never See is pretty cool also.
@@njWordsmithsurely thats an oxymoron lol
Hi, Guy! Try" I Can't Tell You Why" also by the Eagles!
God Bless!
Don Henley 🔥
HC is so beautiful that even my piano cover sounds great!! 😉
Big like for choosing it!!! 👍👍
You need to hear "Desperado" and "Lyin' Eyes." They have quite a few incredible songs.
😎👍🎶🎶
I'd never heard the live version before. I'm impressed. The entire Hotel California album is good, but the Long Run album is beyond good. 🔥

You should have the video the biggest screen so we can appreciate the band
Amazing. That could be the album version it's so good.
I can just see Henley & Frey laughing hysterically as they bounced these lyrics off one another 😅
Nice review, you did not interrupt.
For Harmony...lusten to Seven Bridges Road....Awesome.....
Harry Mack - Omegle Bars
I don't think there's an Eagles song I don't love. I've been listening to Those Shoes lately. It's pretty different from most of their other songs.
Love that song.
The guy in the red bandanna is Joe Walsh, one of the best. Listen to his Funk Number 49 and then Life's Been good to me. And the Eagles never made a bad record.
Great reaction check out acoustic version

The bottom neck of the guitar has 6 strings and the top neck has 12 strings.

Try she's gone by hall and oats
React to Life's Been Good by Joe Walsh the guy with the red do-rag
if you like that try new kid in town 👍
U so cute
Please make the music video bigger
Hey Helaina. UA-cam keeps on blocking some of my videos so I have to shrink it. I will be posting my original video on my patreon account.
Put some curtains up or stack some boxes in that room. The echo is distracting. You will thank me later.
Suggestion? You should have the lyrics up and follow along. The power of these lyrics and interpretation is a huge part of why this song is so iconic. “On a dark desert highway” opens like a movie….
Don Henley. 'b
Boys of Summers." Must listen to. The original video is crap so just find a lyric video
When you are listening to anything from the Classic Rock era, you need to do the studio version.... Except when it's Hotel California.
All one needs to do is listen to bands like The Eagles, PinkFloyd, YES, Rush and so on to understand just how badly today's music sucks.
So bad......
BROOOO!!!!! Delete this video asap!!!!! A lot of UA-camrs are losing their channels for reacting to their music!!!!! Just trying to spread the word!!!
disgusting to look at !!!
