Leaving the rock there helps keep erosion down and prevent water from destroying the base of Mount Rushmore. Jack obviously who knows nothing about conservation. Jack needs to stick to making music.

@@NPK476 To be fair to Jack, he set up a record label and record pressing plant which has helped countless musicians find an outlet and has supported vinyl records a lot more than a lot of other people. So he has shown some proactive social responsibility in that way I think.

My grandfather and his brothers worked on Mt Rushmore, and I was actually able to climb it. I literally stood on Washington’s head. And the “secret” room is just a big closet dug into the rock.

I can see his point I guess. The rubble is an eyesore, but like others have said, it stops erosion, and I think it also keeps trees from growing at the bottom of the monument and covering the faces. While it could be considered as "litter," it seemingly has some purposes. With a platform as large as his, I think there are some better issues he could bring attention to. But hey, it's his platform.
