My first and only pistol, although I've shot many. I absolutely love it. I polished the internals and barrel, as well as put in a cgw pro package. Also, running tlr 7 and holosun. I'm a big guy, so I prefer a gun with weight. One of the best most reliable firearms ever made. I'll be getting my ccw soon.
JB, Mcarbo trigger spring kit, ss guide rod, Amazon grips, sight change, and different trigger that is straighter. I am very pleased with the trigger, and how the gun shoots. All excellent upgrades. P.S., TEIR 1 IWB, with mag carrier. I also bought some Super Lube Synth Grease, mixed it with Mobil 1. Keep it kinda thick. Excellent lube. Happy shooting Bro

The P01 & P07 are both great carry options but to me, the P01 is both beautiful and functional to the nth degree... Makes me feel like I'm carrying robocop's gun (yes I know the robo gun is a Beretta) by its aesthetics... Most prolly prefer the P07 over the P01 but I love both of mine... BTW, B & T makes the Mk II (aka the USW-A1), which shares just about almost every detail as a P07 but has a cool 30 round magazine you should look at...I have one as my backup mag in the car... The MK II uses CZ 75 mags so it fits .... Like the Glock, the 75 has been copied and cloned by others over the years
“Boomer Gun” funny. I’m a boomer and just got into DA/SA myself. I went the LTT PX4 route. The P-01 is a great choice. I agree, get the Cajun upgrades and you’re good to go and saved yourself some cash. I enjoyed your chill approach in the video.
I see the cz fever caught you. Cz makes some of the best firearms. I love them. I just missed out on the shadow 2 compact myself. I might grab one of these.
The only thing that makes me not care for my cz's is the low slide, I never feel like I'm going to get a good grip during a failure when under stress. But you can't beat the ergonomics

I actually shot a Cz finally that I rented at the range,it was the P-07,and it was awesome!!!! The trigger for being a stock trigger is mind blowing.I have a M&P 2.0,and a Shield Plus,and love them,but that Cz trigger sold me alone.I can see a Cz in my near future.I definitely think they are slept on when it comes to Cz,but I feel that is changing with the more,and more I hear about them with video’s like this.I feel the market is so big now for fun brands,that Cz gets overlooked,but like I said I feel that is going to change here soon…
I have the P01 Omega from CZC. It’s cut for an RMR, upgraded springs, pins, and guide rod. It’s a fantastic gun. I carry my Sig P365 AXG Legion but the P01 is in the running for my SHTF gun
Hello JB I have a very helpful comment for you. I also have a TLR7-X on my P-01, and if you change that light switch to the alternate flatter switch that came with it, the button will be more out of the way and much more comfortable. Its an easy change that makes a big difference. :-D
Just copped as well and wish I did sooner. But yeah it is one of the most slept on carry guns on the market. What mag are you running with the mec gar +2? Is it the stock cz p01 mag?
Have the P07 and omega. think the omega trig might be a lil lighter and decocker. Carried both ... problem I see in shtf if you had to do a take down ... a striker fire would be quicker. I'm almost effortfully accurate with that P07 ... great guns. Good vid
THE MOST SLEPT ON CARRY PISTOL Cz 75 P-01 The CZ75 is a great pistol with a long history and track record. The big thing that holds it back or holds it down is the lack of gripping surface for manipulation of the slide. Putting the slide into the frame may be great for reducing muzzle flip with straight back recoil or what some call low bore axis, but leaving little gripping surface on the slide sucks. Other than that the pistol shoots great.
I have just about all the Cz models including the shadow 2 compact, I would choose carrying the p01 over it all day simply for the decocker. The S2C has a better trigger but you can get that fixed and change the sights and grips if you like. Then it stands above the S2C in every way
I currently have the P01 and plan on installing the CGW pro package myself. I am tempted at the new shadow 2 compact. Other than the trigger do you notice a difference in recoil between the 2?

I'm an advocate for short arms and can't help but to support someone who looks like me and maybe even coming from the same place. It may be for a few...a top five carry. I would have it in its own category as a 'car gun'. (if that makes sense) Meaning as sub between lets say your M&P 2.0 while you're in motion. So yeah the striker-fire for the ccw with this piece in the ride in transition ready for use. I say this mainly as its weight may be noticeable in a longer duration of time.
I love mine! shoots damn good for being d/a, but cant wait to send mine to United Firearms to make it a little more modern and similar to my other carry guns.
I bought the P-01 and spent about $450 between the CGW pro kit and night sights. I did the installation myself and the thing is definitely right there with the Shadow 2 Compact. I actually think it’s now a better carry gun. Still love the look and feel of the S2 though!
You ain't crazy. I got the p-01 omega, and I'm going to make it my winter carry gun and nightstand protector pistol. I like that double, single action, first heavy pull for that bump, in the night situation. I don't want any accidental discharge.

Im originally from CA, due to the roster of approved handguns the P-01 is more common. I have been carrying mine for about 2 years now, and honestly I have a hard time moving away from it. I have the Cajun trigger package in mine and compared it to the Shadow 2 compact, I thought the Cajun trigger was better. (Granted I have almost 10K through it lol) I wouldn’t get the shadow 2 as a carry gun because it does not have a firing pin block, just my opinion, but I don’t feel comfortable carrying a gun with out one.
Get an IWB MSP bro. you already know how they work. i love the P-01. you should get it optics cut and then dump a little bit into the internals and it'll be butter.

The big brother SP01 with a Cajunized trigger is a beast.
CZ as a brand is slept on, and the P01 is one of the biggest sleepers in their line up.
I carry the OD Green P-01 with TLR7A every day and I absolutely love it!

Used Wager Machine as well. Did an amazing job on the cut for ny 507k. Perfect tolerances and fit
in california CZs are not at all slept on. let Cajun Gun Works handle your optic and the trigger package.
