The PCR probably has more muzzle flip or felt recoil than the RAMI bc the PCR is a forged aluminum frame and the RAMI is steel alloy. The RAMI is much smaller but it weighs almost the same as the PCR.

I’ve raved about the CZ75 since I purchased mine at the Ramstein Rod and Gun club in1985 while serving in the USAF. Back in those days the only way to buy one stateside was through the middle man/country of Canada and that jacked the price up over the $1500 price tag(I paid $282 brand spanking new from the club). The double action trigger pull of those early CZs sincerely rivaled the double action trigger pulls of the Colt Python (believe it or not). One of the main reasons Hitler invaded Czechoslovakia was because of their expertise and skill in arms making and that hasn’t changed. CZ is still a benchmark that other manufacturers need to press toward.
Excellent video as always - I started with Glock then I made the mistake of holding an SP-01 - game over for me - now when I take my SP-01, P09 and 97B to the range and let others fire off a few rounds - they fall in love also!
I am 100% with you. One will fall in love with CZ once he grabs it and feels in the hands. Then fall in love even more after shooting a few rounds. I don’t know any other sweet shooting gun as CZ75 and 97. Those Czech dudes do know how to make guns.
The 97B is one of the best .45ACP pistols I have ever had the pleasure of shooting. Which of the two do you prefer: P09 vs the SP01? Been eyeing a SP01 for a while now.
I have Glocks, 1911's,Browning Hi Power and a CZ 75 BD that I purchased about a year ago. I'm a .45 acp guy but now the CZ is carried more than my other autos. I really like this gun!
I love all four of my CZ's. It was you, sootch who turned me on to them years ago. I saw them in gun cabinets many times, but never gave them a second thought until your channel and watching an episode of "Gun Stores" with "Joe Mantegna" about CZ that really caught my attention. The Czechs have made some great guns over the years. Oh, and you might want to replace your stock "firing pin retaining pins" with solid steel pins from "CZ Custom". The stock pins will wear out and fail.
I recently bought the P-01 Omega and I absolutely love it.Everyone I let hold it talks about how good the grip feels. I added a ss guide rod, aluminum cz grips, and night sights. My only complaint would be the plastic guide rod that came with the gun
My first pistol of my modern era was a P10F, chosen because it was available and because it fits my outsize hands (XXL gloves). I have an example of the P10C and P10S as well, now. The -S was my EDC for a while, replaced by the -C because the longer grip works better for my hands (and I'm a big enough guy that concealment of that 15-round magazine is not a big problem). As I learned about pistols, I found myself intrigued by the DA/SA trigger modes, even though it seemed too complex when I bought my P10 variants. I bought a P07 to work with a DA/SA trigger, and liked it a lot. It became my EDC. I found a great deal on a "used" but not abused P09, and it quickly became my open-carry pistol of choice. But the 75-series stuff still intrigued me. Some of that was the "N+1 rule," to be honest, but I was still curious about them, having read of their legendary status among firearm-cognoscenti. I read a bunch, watched a bunch of videos, and narrowed my interest to three pistols: The 75D PCR, the P-01, and the P-01 Omega (since I was already familiar with the Omega trigger package from having a P07). I found that I like the decocker for the PCR better than that on the P07/P09, so it's now my EDC of choice, despite that the magazines aren't cross-compatible with the P10-series stuff (and spare CZ magazines are harder to find than magazines for "plebeian" brands like S&W or Sig ;-) ).
Great video! Learned alot and answered most of my questions. Just got my first ( And #1 on my wish list for years ) CZ , got lucky and found one from co-worker selling gun collection. Got a CZ75 SP-01 TACTICAL. It came with a Cajun trigger and Tru glo sights both Uninstalled. Gonna wait and run a few 100 rounds through it before changing anything.
I just got an SP-01 competition a few weeks ago with a ton of custom polishing and fitting, it's SAO with a 2 pound break and absolutely _no_ creep, I'm tickled pink by how nice it is. I wanted a S2 but they didn't have any and that SP-01 just sang me a tune I couldn't get out of my head lol. It's my first pistol from the 75 line and I'm falling in love with the brand quickly, I have a P10F too but dang do I like 75s now that I've shot the SP-01. I'm seriously considering a TSO next, I feel like someone that just got hooked on heroin, my every thought goes towards finding my next CZ fix🤣.
Just bought my first CZ. CZ 527 and I can feed it for years being 7.62x39. It's craftsmanship is outstanding and from everything I've read it loves the steel cased stuff.
CZ 75 is the most beautiful pistol of all. More beautiful than a Beretta 92. I own a 75B Coldwar Commemorative edition with red Soviet markings on it, but it won’t be my last.
I only own the rami safety model with cgw night sights and da sa shadow 2, out of my ten handguns, they are two of my favorites. I feel comfortable and confident dropping the rami manually into da and carrying it that way. Both are fantastic reliable handguns and a pleasure to shoot. There is a lot of bad internet juju about the rami reliability, I have had no issue with mine thru 700 rounds. If I had to do it over, I would purchase it again.
Both my 75B stainless and my SP-01 have been exceptional. They’re the only two that make it out to the range every single time I go. Next purchase will be one of their polymer pistols. Great review !
I've been a fan of the CZ75 since about 1990. I bought an Action Arms import one then, and shortly afterwards a CZ85. Both are great guns. A few years ago, I found an early import CZ with the classic grips. These Bauska (Kalispel MT) guns were the first officially imported CZs in to the US. Before that guns came in as private imports usually by US military personnel that legend has it could order these at post gun clubs in Germany. I had a chance to buy one of these for $800 in 1988, but that was a really high price for me at the time. I haven't handled any of the newer guns, but I expect they are excellent too.
not legendary as one might think i was a member of the army back in the very late 1980s brought one cz75 back among others purchased it at a gun club in west Germany in 1988 brought it back with me when i left the service in 1988. sadly had to sell it to make car payments .
Solid video. CZ is top notch imo. Factory or moded they raise the bar. Two shortfalls to date for me. Production numbers stink thus availability. In today's market, they all should be available with plate option, threaded barrel, and suppressor height sights from the factory. Example, "IF" you can find a CZP10C with threaded barrel and night sights, no plate option is available. Get the plate option, then no threaded barrel and high sights...
Really love your videos. VERY informative so consumers like me can make smart decisions. I'm having a long distance love affair with CZs. When I actually buy one that story will change.
Have you made any mods to your 97? I have one- been debating sending it off to Cajun Gun Works for a full package "jobby". Great pistol, but it feels like every little detail could just use a little more... Something. Then again, a full package deal from CGW costs the full price of the original pistol, plus S&H! 😅
Those CZ Pistols are Excellent! The advantage of these Guns is how ultra low the Bore-axis is, how low that barrel fits in the frame. Makes for a Great shooting firearm.
Great video. Variety is the spice of life, so I have different manufacturers, but I always seem to run home to momma; the CZs. Whether you're talking about the 75 series , the P10 series or any other CZ, they're just really terrific guns. They do everything right!
CZ are seriously underrated. They build some of the best and most reliable pistols money can buy. I've used different models in adverse conditions for years now without any issues.
Outside of the polymer guns , the CZ steel/aluminum frame pistols are the Best Buy pistols in my humble opinion . The SP-01 Tactical is a beast for a 9mm, but I really dig the P-01 Omega ( Glock 19 size ) .
I love my p-01. Has a lot of the good stuff about a small gun, and a lot of the good stuff about a big gun. And that lowrider slide design keeps it nice and flat. Great pistols, all the 75's. Hoping to someday find a gently used p-06. Never had a .40s&w before, and probably never will unless I can find that match to my p-01.
I just found out that the CZ97B and CZ97BD was discontinued in 2022. I was able to find a new 97BD still in stock and bought it. I’m now up to six CZs all decocker models and conceal carry the CZ P-01 on a regular basis.
I love the cz 75. I have never owned or even shot one. That being said I do own one of the best cz75 clones ever built. I have an all metal frame 45 acp double action EAA Witness. Hammer fired and one of the smoothest shooting pistols I own. For those of you looking for a CZ please look into the EAA Witness line. Especially the used market. The EAA guns have won a lot of competitions and they are amazing guns. They also run at a fraction of the price.
People love CZ pistols or they have not shot them. I still carry my P-01 since they came out. I also love the decockers as an option. To me, the safest design going.
Another great video I enjoy watching them! The 2075 Rami is my EDC! Your videos actually turned me onto it and being a fan of DBL action / Sng action and no safety the DE cocker model was perfect for me! Thank you for all you do! Semper Fi!
My little pile includes 4 as well. PCR, BD Police, B Omega, and matte stainless B. These things fall in a category I call "bet winners" when shooting with friends. The pews go where I point, and they always pew.
There were exactly 72 shots fired before the main part of the video started. Three more shots would have made it 75. That would have been sooo cool, close enough though.
I am a huge CZ fan you did an excellent job explaining how much care for the various models... I have the sp1 tactical with the threaded barrel yes it does have some heft has tritium sights as well...
Very nice firearm i have had beretta 92 and 99 , 1911's, Smith & wesson auto's all where nice, dependable firearms but the cz75 is all that with the added low bore axes, it just makes for a more user friendly experience,
I have 2 CZ76 SP01 Tacticals...3 P-01s...and 2 CZ97s (.45 ACP). I've carried all of 'em. I've shot all of 'em. I've had problems with none of 'em. They're gun design perfected. They look great, are practical, all-metal, and I insist that all of mine have decockers. I like a decocker, and the decocker on these CZs is superior to the decockers put on SigSauer pistols, both in function and in ergonomics. All that, and they look great, especially with LOK grips. I like to have a solid grip and the front and back straps on the grips are not checkered. A trip to EBay, and I found adhesive tape, rather like "skateboard tape", that sticks and sticks, can be found there. Also, while the stock sights are fine, I've replaced the sights on all of my CZs but one with TruGlo TFX Pro sights. Superior. I've got Sigs, I've had Berettas and Colts, and lots of other shooters, but I'm an unrepentant CZ fanboy.
I'm told NOT to dry fire the CZ 75 due to it's tendency to break the firing pin, and other pins. Hardened pins are available from Cajun Gun Works to permanently fix this issue at minimal cost.

At least till the imports dry up

@@VCBird6 I learned my lesson with Obama. Ban away Old Biden. Not going to affect this guy. I do feel for all the new shooters though.
@@VCBird6 Lets go Brandon! 😄👍
CZ 75 is the most beautiful pistol of all. More beautiful than a Beretta 92. I own a 75B Coldwar Commemorative edition with red Soviet markings on it, but it won’t be my last.
The 4" S&W Model 19 and the CZ75 are two handguns I consider works of art.
I have the P01 Omega and love that pistol, with the ability of adding a light it’s perfect for home defense as well as a CCW.
I have the cz75B with the omega trigger. It is the finest and most accurate handgun I ever fired and I’m 80 years old.
Both my 75B stainless and my SP-01 have been exceptional. They’re the only two that make it out to the range every single time I go. Next purchase will be one of their polymer pistols. Great review !
Great videos you’ve been putting up recently, the extra effort is very noticable
I own a Compact W / Decocker , pre B , 75 B , P01 , P07 and a RAMI been shooting them since the 80s and fell in love
CZ P10 M Review Please. CZ Announced the pistol recently in the US , but I have yet to see one in the wild.
Definitely. I'll see what I can do! Thanks Kevin~
Reg capacity 8, no slide stop/release and Not a good Trigger.
From what I seen.
Love my CZ75, since 1991 direct from East Germany after that big ole wall fell. $400 and 30 years later, still one of my best pistols.
Excellent! Good review! Love the way Sootch signs off too!
I’m a self proclaimed CZ Fan Boy, I own the PCR, SP01,P10f, and the 97. They are my favorite pistols!
@@thatpointinlife short reset kit, & race hammer, I’ve been wanting to do the 1911 bushing on it also. But my 97 is the best 45 I own.
75 is my favorite handgun !!! And best for me is SP01 shadow 👍 This is my most frequently used pistol.
Such a nice piece, SP-01 will for sure be my first pistol purchase if I can find it first
CZ are seriously underrated. They build some of the best and most reliable pistols money can buy. I've used different models in adverse conditions for years now without any issues.
Your PCR is identical to mine, including the grips. It’s my favorite CZ of the 3 I own.
Outside of the polymer guns , the CZ steel/aluminum frame pistols are the Best Buy pistols in my humble opinion .
The SP-01 Tactical is a beast for a 9mm, but I really dig the P-01 Omega ( Glock 19 size ) .
My first cz was a pcr, love it. Cz makes great guns for the price.
My ma carries a P-01 9mm NSN marked. That thing is. So. Beautiful. (Coming from a basic Glock man). Thanks for sharing 🇺🇸
Great CZ collection - keep the great insights coming!
I own CZ 75 Tactical Sports for range fun and CZ2075 RAMI for EDC.... both fulfill their roles veeeeeeeeeeery well... :)
My first ever firearm purchase back in November 1993, a CZ75. Great 👍🏻 pistol
Great review looking to get the rami great compact piece.
There were exactly 72 shots fired before the main part of the video started. Three more shots would have made it 75. That would have been sooo cool, close enough though.
OCD.
@@RottiDog100 Hahaha, absolutely, I literally went back 3 times because I kept getting distracted and forgot the exact number of shots.
Big time O.C.D. 😅🤣
I have the high polish SS version. Beautiful gun. Swapped sights for Hi Viz and never looked back. Thanks for the great comparison video.
That’s the finest pistol design since the SIG P210. I have a CZ75-B in satin stainless and love it.
Pointability is so natural. Got the pre B model. Love it !!
I love my SP01. CZ manufactures many great pistols and they own Dan Wesson and now Colt.
Have a SP01 for roundabout 10 years, love it, my goto-pistol.
I am a huge CZ fan you did an excellent job explaining how much care for the various models... I have the sp1 tactical with the threaded barrel yes it does have some heft has tritium sights as well...
Wow, great-looking pistols. The steel frame looks so sleek and smooth.
I'm a polymer guy and love the CZ P-10 line! Excellent pistols!!
great video,i have a CZ75B and a CZ83 and will never sell them, i compare them to my sigs, fine quality firearms....
Damn, now I need to get a CZ.
Great collection. I agree with all your mods but to them but my favorite is Shadow 2 SAO.
I own a CZ P 40 when I bought that gun in 2008 I tell my gun buddies I bought a CZ ,the reaction was what?
$368 out of the door in Houston Texas
Col. Jeff Cooper said the cz75 was the best 9mm service pistol. That's quite an endorsement.
I'm told NOT to dry fire the CZ 75 due to it's tendency to break the firing pin, and other pins. Hardened pins are available from Cajun Gun Works to permanently fix this issue at minimal cost.
Just picked up my cz75 pcr I love it. My go to carry
What an excellent review! The best handgun out there!
All of these "variants" have been either updated (75B Omega Convertible) or discontinued (75BD SP01 Tactical, PCR and RAMI).
The first time I shot this gun I instantly fell in love
What a beautiful pistol
I've got a cz75 from the nineties in nickel finish. Very accurate with good weight to it .
Love the CZ 75 !
I just shot IDPA, USPSA and 3gun for ten years. I'm not very good but nothing helped my game more than buying a CZ Shadow.
