This looks like there's finally a plugin to compete with the awesome NDLR hardware. Gonna buy this right away! Is there a way to play this "live", i.e. to trigger it from a played note instead of a pre-existing one on a MIDI track?
Thanks for your comment! Yes, you can trigger it with a MIDI keyboard, and our next update will feature a hold button so you can go hands free (amongst some very juicy other new features)
Generally speaking, yes, but it might depend on the DAW. You would set Rhythmizer up on one channel, and then route that to multiple instrument channels.
amazing, in the video its suggested that the plugin generates midi, which is true, but is it also true that you need a separate track constantly with root note midi that you have to draw in yourself?
Thanks for your question! The MIDI note is written on the same track as Rhythmizer (or you can play it with a keyboard). Think of Rhythmizer as a device which chews up MIDI and outputs randomised notes based on the input.
I'm trying the demo right now, but I am unable to record MIDI. Is the MIDI recording disabled in the demo? I am using Reaper as my DAW. I want to make sure that I can record MIDI before I purchase.
Hey Anton! There are no limitations in the demo except for demo timeout. Recording to MIDI is possible and slightly different in all DAWs - do you have an armed MIDI channel receiving the output from Rhythmizer? In the Reaper configuration, this might involve a second MIDI channel.
Hey Tommy, it depends which DAW you use. Some DAWs like Reaper and Logic allow same channel inserts, many DAWs require a second channel (although we advise multi-channel presets for instant loading without routing, where possible).
Live 11 does need the second channel, however [1] - I show you how to make a preset that loads a MIDI clip, a synth channel and all the routing for instant drag-drop (see DAW setup guide) and [2] - there is a Max for Live version coming
A shame that many people choose to have ai do all the work and then label themselves as an artist or producer. Production efforts are taken away from you when pressing buttons and selecting options for something to produce melody patterns for you. You are then not a producer as you produced nothing, the same way as if somebody produces a song for you they are the producer not you. Anybody using a calculator is not a mathematic genius and we wouldn't be granted exam results if using a calculator in a math exam as the calculator is doing the work for you. Music loses emotion, that's something that ai cannot feel and create and what people want to feel when listening to music.
you start using a calculator on tests in like 8th grade man. Because it’s a tool with a human guiding it towards a purpose, just like this sequencer with randomization is a tool being used by a producer to create something.
So i've bought this thing, i have been around plug ins for the past 15 years, and i must say: This thing doesnt make sense from the get go, the most complicated plug in ive seen, you cant design what your have in mind, its just random notes everywhere, not very programable. I think i regret buying this, it takes mroe time to try and come with something completly random, than dial asome knobs and you know what's gonna happen. I dont know, ive seen far superior sequencers.
Thanks for your feedback. Although we are bringing in some new features which dials back the randomisation just a tad, Rhythmizer *is* a randomiser and should be used as such. From what you're describing, a randomiser may not be the best tool for what you're trying to achieve, and you might be better off with an actual sequencer or arpeggiator. As well as a killer set of new features which we think might be suited to what you're looking for, we'll have a new video coming soon on how randomisers can be very useful when used at certain parts of the creative process - stay tuned!
You guys really came through with this update! Congrats on the release!!!

this is just perfect! just what was needed!
@@FuturephonicEducation what a bloody killer bit of kit!
Bom Shanker!
Would be sick of you brought this to iOS!
I like to know if it can trigger multiple vsti plugins on midi channels?
Generally speaking, yes, but it might depend on the DAW. You would set Rhythmizer up on one channel, and then route that to multiple instrument channels.
Does it work with Mixcraft or Ardour?
It was already the shiznit! now its just imba...
We were just getting started!
No Black Friday/CyberMonday sale?
Hi there! Rhythmizer only just came out, so won't be on sale this year.

Are there are any plans to patch it so that the Bend mode will work in FL?
Hey there - the Bend Mode issue is a limitation within FL, and we sure hope they'll add the functionality for pitch bend data to be transmitted along!
Can you record midi note from the plug in logic in real time, like we see on ur video?
There's a setting that needs to be enabled in Logic to do so. This video should get you sorted 🙂 ua-cam.com/video/nSBdNPdMtkk/v-deo.html
must have👍
This one's an incredible new upgrade :)
Can you do this in studio one 6 and or bitwig 5? 1-8-24
Yes and yes!
do i get this version upgrade ifree f i purchased the original vst ?
Almost - you can currently upgrade for just 6€ - email us via the website 🙂

Yes, check out the DAW setup video 🙂

Considering buying this. Can it go directly on the respective channel or does it need an extra channel with midi routing?
It looks like a MIDI FX. So it goes on the same channel as your synth.
Hey Tommy, it depends which DAW you use. Some DAWs like Reaper and Logic allow same channel inserts, many DAWs require a second channel (although we advise multi-channel presets for instant loading without routing, where possible).
@@FuturephonicEducationhey thank you. How about Ableton 11?

is this a free upgrade to Rhythmizer, or a paid new version?
Paid (but very inexpensive) upgrade.
@@icondark If you own rythmiser 2.1 how do you get the update price?
@@truthbetold2012 They sent it to me in an email.
@@icondark Yeah I checked after I asked!...good price for the update thanks futurephonic!
Hi there! We have emailed all customers of the previous version with a minor upgrade fee 🙂
HOLY FUCK!
Because sometimes you have to be brutally honest.
Is the midi record set only for ableton or also possible in fl studio?
Hey, you can record MIDI in any DAW. FL Studio has its own feature called Burn to MIDI.
Is there an upgrade price for the last one?
Hey, yes there is! We contacted all 2.1 customers, but if the email didn't find you, reach out using our website contact page and we'll get you sorted
@@FuturephonicEducation thanks just sent the question
Is this for drums as well?
Hey, Rhythmizer works amazingly with drums. Check out this section: ua-cam.com/video/z78IfFoWKpU/v-deo.htmlfeature=shared&t=411
It’s there an equivalent to this that will work in Pro tools? Ha ha.
We are investigating a new way to use Rhythmizer within Pro Tools via BlueCat's Patchwork - more details will be released soon!

This isn't AI fool 😂
Hey, no AI at work here. Rhythmizer doesn't try to give you 'good' notes , you have to do that. Randomisers are just another tool in your box 🙂
Bet you’re fun at a party
