I am the child of divorce. I refused to speak to my father for 10 years. Every Christmas, Easter, and birthday he would send me card with a handwritten note telling me he would always love me, he was there when ever I was ready, and that he was praying for us to be able to heal. I’m proud to say I had to grow up and see the situation from an adult perspective vs a child. Now I talk to may Daddy at least once a week and he’s a fantastic grandparent. God is real- Gary just needs to give them their space and never speak ill of the mother regardless of her sins. The children will come back

The way you think the children owe speedy healing to the dad who willfully fractured their foundation is crazy. Love is patient. But kids don't deserve patience? While in active trauma of their parents splitting? Wow. You need to grow up. @briangoins9150

Dang Katt is super generous. He doesn’t just offer help, doesn’t just talk, but shows up and shows out. He takes action. I notice that he never asks a person do you need my help, which will allow a person to say no. He sees a problem and takes action immediately. Sometimes he takes action before a problem occurs. I’ve always loved Katt as an entertainer and comedian. He’s my favorite. However, hearing so many positive stories about his character makes me appreciate him even more.

Agree. He is the epiome of the following Psalms which basically says if you are a person of God a person in need you should not have to ask, rather you conscience and heart should be pricked and urged to help.
The opposite of this is why the world is in such a state because the "heart of man has waxed cold", others ptoblems are not thier concern and they must be to blame amd fight for themselves. Pity. All most people need is that little bit of selfless help to get back on the right track to a better life. But mever fear God sees and knows all.
Pslams 37 verse 25 to 30 - I have been young, and now am old; Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, Nor his descendants begging bread. He is ever merciful, and lends; And his descendants are blessed. Depart from evil, and do good; And dwell forevermore.

I always liked Gary Owen but seeing his transparency and vulnerability makes me love this guy even more. Him saying “his children are his greatest achievement and failure at the same time” and “ when children are little they idolize you, during a divorce they demonize you and when they get older they humanize you.” This struck a chord with me and I hate that children take on the same sickness of hate from their mothers. It’s a sad but true reality. But I thank you Gary for being so transparent. Divorce with children is a horrific fight with collateral damage and no one wins in the end. Salute to you bro. Keep keeping on ✊🏾

I work in family law & once adult children’s parents divorce they start reflecting on everything from their childhood, they take sides, have resentment, their memories of what they were told as children during times versus what they know was really happening now that they’re adults definitely requires healing. Shoot some of them eventually realize why they’re in therapy or have certain issues from their childhood they couldn’t put their finger on
