That is terrible. My son has fibro and is in constant pain, brain fog, weak but instead of needing heat he needs cold. We moved to Fl so he could get rid of his headaches. The lower altitude. He worked his job until they told him that they did not want to chance something happening to him. Physically. We live with the A/C all the time but at least most times his headaches are gone. Fibro and Lyme are so deliberating. Glad you let us know how you are doing. If you have a problem with ticks wrap your lower part of your pant leg with the sticky side of tape out. I wondered how you could walk your fields and not get ticks. Maybe get a few guinea hens to eat the ticks around the buildings. Just a thought.
I suffer from Fibromyalgia as well. I would say it's the most horrible thing to have to deal with but I not only have fibro I also suffer from migraines and that I've had for 25 years. And the real kicker is I had scoliosis surgery with titanium rods put in 2010 and one broke about a year ago and I only broke once it broke in two different spots so it's now causing me to have constant horrible muscle spasms. So between the fibro the migraines, and the darn muscle spasms I would have to say when the muscle spasms kick in they are definitely the worst in fact I know they are.Because at that time I cannot move. 😢😭😢.But I also can't lie that the fear I have of the other Rod snapping as well but they had that surgery which I will eventually have is just more than what I want to endure because the pain is just horrible horrible horrible. But I wanted to say back to your son having fibro and he needs the cold, I am the opposite the one thing that can help me some with the fibro is to get in the hot showers.
Arthur, was bitten by a tick many years ago while camping with the Girl Scouts. I was so ill felt like I was it by a truck and exhibited same symptoms. I had clouded thinking and vision problems. No bullseye tho. Never saw the tic. So it took me awhile to get diagnosed. I ended up at Stanford University going to a vector control meeting where they charted out the ticks prevalence and my camp was right in the heart of it. so I finally took doxycylene. I ended up taking it over and over but finally i started to feel better. But I’ve never completely recovered. My advice to all reading this and listening to Arthur. Do not mess around, get it taken care of immediately Bless you all.
Hey Art just wanted to give you a success story with lyme. I have had it 3 times, 2 weeks of doxycycline cleared it up. No long term issues, no gut problems from antibiotic. Dad treated twice, brother treated once as well as another tick born illness and both did great. Hope you have success as well. God bless you and your family!
I had to be treated for suspected Lyme disease back in April… worst pain I’ve been through since having mastitis! Even after giving birth naturally twice, both of those births combined didn’t compare to the mastitis and Lyme pain. Hope you start feeling better soon! I’m finally feeling more myself now but like you said - my gut will definitely take a little longer to recover 😩

So so glad you are getting treatment for your Lyme Disease, sorry you are going through this.As bad as you feel, you are lucky you could see the rash, sometimes people don’t see the rash, or don’t get one and the Lyme Disease becomes chronic causing so many issues. My daughter suffered for years with Lyme Disease. She saw many doctor’s here in Massachusetts, but she continued to feel terrible. She did finally see a wonderful doctor in a Boston that changed her life....She was also seen at the Dean Center for tick borne Illness at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. My daughter then went to Germany and received hyperthermia treatment at Klinik St. Georg in Bad Abling. I was able to go with her and we stayed for three week treatment. Was it a scary idea to do, yes, but the treatment worked for her and she has her life back. People from all over the world come there for treatment. I hope you can educate people through your channel how important it is around prevention measures to take and the importance of doing tick checks and get treated right away. Unfortunately, many people get misdiagnosed for many years and never know they have Lyme Disease. Also, unfortunately many doctors still don’t believe there is such a thing as Chronic Lyme Disease. As Justin Rhodes knows all too well, there is such a thing.....Thank you, thank you, thank you for educating your UA-cam Family on Lyme Disease and prevention measures. Art...I'm SO sorry to hear about this. You can totally see the bulls eye rash for sure. I'm 47 years old and have chronic Lymes. I will be prayering for you as this is the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with in life. It's a daily struggle. My LLD thinks I was misdiagnosed at 20 when they said I had fibromyalgia. I was so sick I didn't think I was going to live. I went through UV treatments 24 of them at 15k out if my pocket. Also took many antibiotics. I had such bad migraines, vertigo and nausea I could not drive for 2 years. I'm about 75% better. I have MANY supplements I take daily and see my doctor every three months. I will be praying for you. Prayers, I have chronic Lyme and passed it to all my kids and my son got a secondary infection with typical bullseye rash a couple years back. Stephen Bruhner Healing Lyme book saved us. We were on a years of treatment and I put another child on it. There are some herbs you'll want to take and keep on hand. It's awesome cause it's extensive breakdown of the infections and co infections, treatment and treatment for individualized symptoms. Also talks about antibiotics your on.

OMG Art I've been worrying about y'all. I'm so sorry you got tick bit but I'm a little relieved that that's all it is. Art you have a great support system with the wife and kids don't be afraid to delegate some of the work that needs to be done. Wow! I'm praying for you and your family, Art! Those diseases, and anaplasmosis is another one that often comes along with Lyme's for the ride, are prevalent in our corner of the earth in South Central Pennsylvania. Our dog Dot had contracted anaplasmosis and had it for months before our vet discovered it. The symptoms are very similar to Lyme's and it would have killed her if it had continued to go undetected. People get anaplasmosis too, and since it's the same ticks that carry both diseases, and since they travel together as extensively as poison ivy and Virginia creeper do, you might want to be tested for it as well. Oh man, Lyme's disease is such a hard one. I have several friends who have it chronically here in the pacific NW after being misdiagnosed for years. Very glad you are doing all you can to overcome it. I will be praying for you. My first thought was, OH no, the house! I keep hoping to see the forward motion on getting it completed. Yes, because docs say it is not in this area. Yeah right. I live on the southern oregon coast and live way out in the country. I got bitten and I went to my doc and he brushed me off. So I researched it and watched for any of the symptoms. Thank God it didn't develop. But we do tick check overs when we are out in the tall grass or trees. It's a scary thing to get and when docs are ignorant it's even worse.

So sorry to hear this....Once you have Lyme you have it for life! I truly hope they can get your body into remission. My husband has late stage neurological Lyme disease. He went undiagnosed and untreated for 26 years. It truly is the great imitator of all diseases in one. The list of symptoms my husband battles with daily is so bad. Definitely seek out a Lyme Literate doctor (LLMD) and have the Armin Labs ran and find out what co-infections you contracted from the tick bite. I hope you achieve full remission.

2018 got into some tee tiny ticks. We were kayak camping and I went to the river and washed my feet, sprayed bug spray, got the duct tape out, etc. etc. to get them off. These things were not on me for a very long time. 2 weeks later I woke up running a fever, chills, horrible headache, body aches, etc. Went to a walk in clinic and they told me there was a "GI Bug" going around. I did not even think about the tick bites. Went to work and one of my fellow co-workers (we are nurses), he asked me where I had been lately (he knows we camp, etc.) It hit me.....it was a tick born illness. Went back to the walk in clinic on my way home that morning. They started me on the Doxy and my blood work came back positive a couple days later for Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. I felt terrible for several weeks. I hate freakin ticks. I wish there was a good way to get rid of the darn things. Glad you caught your illness early on. That is definitely key. Get to feeling better.
My son in law just went through the same thing. His lymph glands were sore to the touch this last 2 weeks. Definitely LD Dr said. He drank a lymph gland detox and used a essential oil mixture my daughter mixed for him to roll on gland areas, specific for LD. Lots of water too. He is much better and underarms are pain free. I mention what he did if you want to try this. So glad you are doing so much better! 💖
ALSO, put castor oil packs on the swollen lymp node under your arm. I have done this with swollen lymph under my armpit and IT WORKS! Mine was the size of a golf ball. Everyone told me to go to the hospital. But I didn't - I used the castor oil pack and it worked. You might have to do it 3 nights in a row. Look up how to do a castor oil pack if you don't know how to do it. IT WORKS!!!

I did 6 weeks of IV medicine twice a day. It worked!! I have regained most of my strength over the course of 4 years. Still dealing with nerve damage, but even that has lessened. Praying for your recovery.

So so glad you are getting treatment for your Lyme Disease, sorry you are going through this.As bad as you feel, you are lucky you could see the rash, sometimes people don’t see the rash, or don’t get one and the Lyme Disease becomes chronic causing so many issues. My daughter suffered for years with Lyme Disease. She saw many doctor’s here in Massachusetts, but she continued to feel terrible. She did finally see a wonderful doctor in a Boston that changed her life....She was also seen at the Dean Center for tick borne Illness at Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital. My daughter then went to Germany and received hyperthermia treatment at Klinik St. Georg in Bad Abling. I was able to go with her and we stayed for three week treatment. Was it a scary idea to do, yes, but the treatment worked for her and she has her life back. People from all over the world come there for treatment. I hope you can educate people through your channel how important it is around prevention measures to take and the importance of doing tick checks and get treated right away. Unfortunately, many people get misdiagnosed for many years and never know they have Lyme Disease. Also, unfortunately many doctors still don’t believe there is such a thing as Chronic Lyme Disease. As Justin Rhodes knows all too well, there is such a thing.....Thank you, thank you, thank you for educating your UA-cam Family on Lyme Disease and prevention measures. I will pray you start to feel better with Doxycycline, it is a very difficult to get through. Sounds like you are aware of the importance of three week antibiotic treatment.

Art...I'm SO sorry to hear about this. You can totally see the bulls eye rash for sure. I'm 47 years old and have chronic Lymes. I will be prayering for you as this is the hardest thing I have ever had to deal with in life. It's a daily struggle. My LLD thinks I was misdiagnosed at 20 when they said I had fibromyalgia. I was so sick I didn't think I was going to live. I went through UV treatments 24 of them at 15k out if my pocket. Also took many antibiotics. I had such bad migraines, vertigo and nausea I could not drive for 2 years. I'm about 75% better. I have MANY supplements I take daily and see my doctor every three months. I will be praying for you. I'm so disappointed I'm older and have no experience with all this crap. I sure wish that family would give us an update I'm so worried about them. Awe I hope you caught it soon enough and it doesn’t turn into a life long issue. That rash has the bullseye for sure. You need to rest and relax and there’s nothing that important to get done now and will be there when you get feeling better. My husband is stubborn also and is dealing with slipped discs and now sciatica and I can’t get him to relax ugh .. Take it easy, please 🥰

Prayers, I have chronic Lyme and passed it to all my kids and my son got a secondary infection with typical bullseye rash a couple years back. Stephen Bruhner Healing Lyme book saved us. We were on a years of treatment and I put another child on it. There are some herbs you'll want to take and keep on hand. It's awesome cause it's extensive breakdown of the infections and co infections, treatment and treatment for individualized symptoms. Also talks about antibiotics your on.

@@intothecalm420 Lyme disease isnt a hereditary condition and can't be passed in this way (there is science to back this assertion). Parents and children are often affected because they live in the same conditions, with the same exposure.

OMG Art I've been worrying about y'all. I'm so sorry you got tick bit but I'm a little relieved that that's all it is. Art you have a great support system with the wife and kids don't be afraid to delegate some of the work that needs to be done. Grace and Justice have shown their ability to help around the homestead and with the editing of your videos. Take it easy and let them help you, it will make them feel good to help the old man out. Wow! I'm praying for you and your family, Art! Those diseases, and anaplasmosis is another one that often comes along with Lyme's for the ride, are prevalent in our corner of the earth in South Central Pennsylvania. Our dog Dot had contracted anaplasmosis and had it for months before our vet discovered it. The symptoms are very similar to Lyme's and it would have killed her if it had continued to go undetected. People get anaplasmosis too, and since it's the same ticks that carry both diseases, and since they travel together as extensively as poison ivy and Virginia creeper do, you might want to be tested for it as well. God is good, all the time! I pray his blessings for you.

I was diagnosed with Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever two years ago. I’ve been having flare ups this month, and it’s been rough. I’m on doxycycline again. I feel your pain, and I pray for your recovery. ❤️

Since there are so many people who struggle and treatments do not help, I feel it is important to mention that psilocybin is being studied as treatment for chronic Lyme disease. It's a very ancient medicine...keep an open mind and let's hope the studies find treatment that works.

Oh man, Lyme's disease is such a hard one. I have several friends who have it chronically here in the pacific NW after being misdiagnosed for years. Very glad you are doing all you can to overcome it. I will be praying for you. My first thought was, OH no, the house! I keep hoping to see the forward motion on getting it completed. First priority though is to take care of yourself so you can take care of others and other things. Thanks for the report.
Yes, because docs say it is not in this area. Yeah right. I live on the southern oregon coast and live way out in the country. I got bitten and I went to my doc and he brushed me off. So I researched it and watched for any of the symptoms. Thank God it didn't develop. But we do tick check overs when we are out in the tall grass or trees. It's a scary thing to get and when docs are ignorant it's even worse.

Art, hang in there! I’ve been living with lyme for more than three decades but only finally got proper diagnosis and (some) treatment two years ago. After dozens of doctors, many misdiagnoses, drugs, surgeries, fifteen years on disability… Late stage Lyme kicks my butt some days but I am living a good life and it can be done. There are millions of us #lymewarriors who are fighting this battle with you. #nevergiveup

So sorry to hear this....Once you have Lyme you have it for life! I truly hope they can get your body into remission. My husband has late stage neurological Lyme disease. He went undiagnosed and untreated for 26 years. It truly is the great imitator of all diseases in one. The list of symptoms my husband battles with daily is so bad. Definitely seek out a Lyme Literate doctor (LLMD) and have the Armin Labs ran and find out what co-infections you contracted from the tick bite. I hope you achieve full remission.

Wow, I'm worried...are there any subscribers who know them? I hope they're ok. They certainly have a lot on their plates. I'm praying for them.
2018 got into some tee tiny ticks. We were kayak camping and I went to the river and washed my feet, sprayed bug spray, got the duct tape out, etc. etc. to get them off. These things were not on me for a very long time. 2 weeks later I woke up running a fever, chills, horrible headache, body aches, etc. Went to a walk in clinic and they told me there was a "GI Bug" going around. I did not even think about the tick bites. Went to work and one of my fellow co-workers (we are nurses), he asked me where I had been lately (he knows we camp, etc.) It hit me.....it was a tick born illness. Went back to the walk in clinic on my way home that morning. They started me on the Doxy and my blood work came back positive a couple days later for Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. I felt terrible for several weeks. I hate freakin ticks. I wish there was a good way to get rid of the darn things. Glad you caught your illness early on. That is definitely key. Get to feeling better.
My son in law just went through the same thing. His lymph glands were sore to the touch this last 2 weeks. Definitely LD Dr said. He drank a lymph gland detox and used a essential oil mixture my daughter mixed for him to roll on gland areas, specific for LD. Lots of water too. He is much better and underarms are pain free. I mention what he did if you want to try this. So glad you are doing so much better! 💖
ALSO, put castor oil packs on the swollen lymp node under your arm. I have done this with swollen lymph under my armpit and IT WORKS! Mine was the size of a golf ball. Everyone told me to go to the hospital. But I didn't - I used the castor oil pack and it worked. You might have to do it 3 nights in a row. Look up how to do a castor oil pack if you don't know how to do it. IT WORKS!!!

I’m so sorry you are going through this. Hopefully the antibiotics will help you start feeling better soon. I was so worried and could only think of the worst things. I’m glad it was none of those.
I did 6 weeks of IV medicine twice a day. It worked!! I have regained most of my strength over the course of 4 years. Still dealing with nerve damage, but even that has lessened. Praying for your recovery.
