I am BEGGING you to continue this series. It is helping so many people, including me! Alyssa is so real and relatable. I am absolutely rooting for her success. If nothing else, Alyssa you need to make your own youtube channel! I'd subscribe immediately.
It was so relatable when Alyssa mentioned how seeing someone else’s weight fluctuate it makes sense to you but when it’s your own it’s a different response. Love this series so much!
I was just saying to myself after reaching my goal to drop 35 pounds "I need some Jordan time! " My inspiration to make this a lifestyle to move everyday and be determined. Thank you so much Jordan!
To see the struggle in real life which I have all the time gives me strength..I’m 78 doing all I can with hip replacements , edema ..blah blah.. but I do something, ANYTHING every day to move.. Jordan for all you do and Alyssa for being so real.
Agreeing with everyone on continuing this series! The best, most relatable fat loss content. It’s so helpful to follow someone doing all the things and seeing them run into the same obstacles I do. Thank you so much Alyssa for being so open and sharing with us!
Alissa! I’ve been following Jordan and in the IC since 2019, I’ve lost 110 pounds…. You are motivating me to dial my shit in for my last push! Keep going, sis! I see you! 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
I’ve been following you for years man and I feel that so many people get discouraged on their fitness journey because of the lack of education and knowledge. I love your channel because you take the time to educate us about weight fluctuations and help people develop a better mindset around nutrition and weight loss. If everyone were to see this perspective in this video I think it would ease a lot of people’s minds. I do want to see another series like this please! Although, I’m 80lbs down now I can definitely relate to Alyssa a lot during those beginning stages.
wow this cannot be more timely! after losing weight consistently the last few weeks, this week, my weight has been going up 2 days in a row and I have not changed a thing... it's good to remind myself weight fluctuation is normal. it's normal. it's normal.
Thank you for keeping this Real Life Series really real 😃 Alyssa’s story is so relatable and so real life. Please continue this series, when looking at these videos, I feel I am having a personal trainer coaching session! And congrats to Alyssa for her hard work in real life situations like moving 🎉🍾
I’ve been watching Dr Mindy pelz and incorporating fasting and one thing I learned is hormones and stress like Jordan said play a big part. The week before my cycle starts it’s normal for my weight loss to slow down or even gain then it’s back down a few days later. Keep good Alyssa great job.
I usually do not comment on videos, but this series is awesome! Alyssa has such a great personality and is very relatable. I have the same issues with perfection, dealing with fluctuations, etc. The interactions between the two of you is very encouraging and enlightening. Please continue this series. Everyone needs this realistic view on fitness and weight loss.
You NEED to continue this series on some level!! Even a monthly check in/ catch up… quick recap and mini q&a! Seriously, you two have the best dynamics and you are helping soooo many people ♥️ keeping it real and educating people while making us laugh at the same time ♥️
Thank you Jordan ❤ I’ve had you in my ear constantly for the past 2 years and have lost 100 pounds. You are so right it is important not to get lost in the minute details of fat loss and fitness but rather to communicate the basics clearly for everybody to understand. This series represents that perfectly. Keep it up!
I reduced my calories to 1500 a day with calorie counting and go to the gym twice a week and in the last month I've lost... 0lb. I give up. I did the exact same diet and exercise regime in the past and lost nearly 30lbs. I don't get wtf is going on. I had a baby almost 2 years ago now and I can't lose weight. If I need to reduce below 1500 calories now to create a deficit then I seriously dont see how I can stay consistent. The only thing I've noticed different is my hormones being totally out of whack because the pms after having my baby is unreal. I watch these videos and they help me stay the course but 4 weeks without any progress on a regime that worked in the past....ita depressing
I feel you. I’ve struggled with changing hormones and it’s frustrating when what worked in the past doesn’t work in the present. After trying for a year, the scale finally started to move for me when I upped my exercise to 4-5/ days a week. I started lifting heavy (max 6-8 reps) and on days I don’t hit the gym I walk 10-15K steps a day. This is so different from what I’ve done in the past but I finally found what works at this age. You can too, hang in there!
you may have developed pcos after your pregnancy. check out weight loss for pcos it might help. has an impact on what kinds of food you should or shouldn't eat and what kind of sports are better for you than others. it has to do with stress levels and cortisol in the body, hormons have a huge impact on weight.
I totally understand the battle with the scale. I think the number going up will ALWAYS bother me, which is why I elect to not weigh daily. I think being a teenager in the early 2000's has just permanently effed up my brain in that regard. Alyssa is 100% killing it! Keep up the great work. 🙂
I hope this series doesn't end because it is the most real thing and makes us all feel like we're not alone coz we are all going through a similar journey. Keep it up !
The concept of giving yourself grace to really truly just enjoy what you enjoy once and awhile was such a hard thing for me. Listening to the conversation at the end of this video was so motivating for me.
The consistency of these messages and consistency of these videos and experiences is helping me with consistency and improving my relationship with food.
OMG! The weight fluctuation chart just truly opened my eyes! You mean to tell me every time I was losing weight and had a sudden spike of 2-3lbs I was more than likely still losing weight!! And this was me working with weight loss Drs who were telling me I must have been cheating (when I wasn’t) so I just said F it and now I’m back at square 1! This is why it helps to work with someone who is truly knowledgeable about helping people lose weight as opposed to some one who just wants you to take shots for weight loss and have high protein drinks for meals! 🤬
I was SO EXCITED when I saw the email this morning that another episode was released and watched it immediately...way to go Alyssa (and Jordan) and again, I cannot thank you enough for doing this! Keep it up!
I feel that a hard thing for me is just enjoying the journey. Something I've noticed recently is that I don't just eat because the food is there. I eat until I'm full and then I stop. That's a big win for me. This was a reminder that from time to time it's good to take breaks from restriction, and just eat the foods I love... and then get back on track.💪
Still loving this series. Thanks for continuing to show us the real stuff, someone with a busy life and normal stressors that come into play and how to adapt and move on. Appreciate you both 🧡
You’re killing it and I’ve really enjoyed watching these videos. I struggle with staying on track and finding the right foods. This has helped so much.
This series!!!! Best thing ever. Alyssa is wonderful. I love the relationship that is developing between the both of you. Very relatable. It’s been easy to incorporate all the tips until I can afford you for my own weight loss journey. Thank you.
I've been searching for a fitness influencer like you Jordan for so long. Didn't know you existed until recently. I am so happy I found your channel. Please don't stop making real life videos.
This has been so helpful and relatable. It’s helped me realized I didn’t have the most balanced or healthy approach regarding food and weight loss! Please continue ! Great work Alyssa!! We are routing for you
Alyssa!! I am cheering you on from 🇨🇦 and learning so much from your authenticity! You are such an incredible human!!!! Jordan thank you so much for this series!!!!!
those spikes and fluctuations can be very discouraging, but the long term outcome is so worth it. AND what you're doing is making progress without perfection!
This series is amazing and so valuable not only for people who need to lose a lot of weight but even for us who are more advanced. I personally have learned so much and been motivated. Especially this and last episode - going about eating out and on the go. I used to have an all or nothing mentality but for me "Perfection is prison" has been my new moto! Still struggling a bit with guilt in such situations but I've been much better! Thank you and Alyssa for taking us on this journey!
After going out to dinner & having pasta, this episode really hit home. I don’t need to feel guilty over one meal. It’s back on track tomorrow. I needed to hear this! Loving this series!!
So on point that it's easy to understand the fluctuations and even predict them with someone else, but with yourself, it's so discouraging. Love the honesty of Alyssa saying I don't know I didn't track it. I need to stop saying fuck it. I've been listening to you for years and stay on the same hamster wheel 😢
Thank you so much for these series! Starting collecting my own (almost) 30 day data during February, not quitting, not obsessing over “those are a lot of calories”.. and enjoy my life meanwhile. 🙏
Jordan thank you for doing this series. I have been on a journey of healing my relationship with food/body. You’re always so great at simplifying and taking the shame out. I recently found out I’m pregnant with my 4th (suprise baby) and I already have 30 lbs I want to lose. It’s so great to not get freak out by that and instead look at it logically how I can take care of myself now and then when I’m postpartum can follow all these great tips. Thanks again for this series.
Let’s goooooo!!! My weight progress tracker for this month looks almost identical to yours. It’s SO hard to not get caught up when the scale stalls or spikes, but you’re absolutely crushing it! 🙌
I love this series!! Can you please continue it! It’s so relatable and knowing that I’m not the only one who mental struggles with these things makes it make you not want to quit improving your health vs just watching an influencer because mentally you think it’s this influencers job to be healthy of course it’s easier for them than it is for me.
This is incredibly helpful to see in nearly real time the thought processes that need to change in order to succeed. I would love to see more of this series!
This is so relatable on so many levels! Can you please follow Alyssa for at least six months?!? Love following her journey and it's inspiring me to get my ish together.
You are amazing Alyssa! Keep it up! I feel like that text convo could have been with me. I too went up 3 lbs and it's just so frustrating and discouraging to see but keeping a positive mindset and staying on track are the things I am focusing on. Best of luck, keep crushing it Alyssa!
Needed to hear this about eating out at restaurants. I do feel like I’m missing out when I eat a salad instead of that plate of enchiladas that I love lol. Being consistent to me means being able to enjoy the foods you love without guilt then getting back on it the next meal
This series is so great...it's so helpful to watch Alyssa overcome the same struggles I'm sure a lot of us have! Also, Alyssa did a kick-ass job on that intro....maybe she needs her own UA-cam channel!
I would love to see more of this series on Alyssa (who is incredible!) or even another person. It makes it all very relatable to me. The scale has been my enemy since I was 4, but I’m learning to trust the process slowly and just weigh. Eat normally - and the crazy thing is I’m feeling great and losing - slowly but loss is loss right?!
I agree weight fluctuations is sooo challenging. I have been following you for a few years while I have been battling a lifestyle change. 150+ lbs down and holding. 4 years later
This was so relatable! I was feeling like Alyssa this week when the scale showed an upward spike. This morning I checked my weight and I hit my goal! On to my next goal and not letting the scale fluctuations bring me down. I love this series!!
This episode was SO helpful! I have been tracking calories for two weeks but there have been times where I was eating something I didn’t know how to track or I knew I was eating something that was going to put me over. I love the balanced approach you all discussed and the idea of tracking weight by month, not day. Like others, please keep going with this series. It is SOOO good!
I really needed this. Going out with friends tomorrow night and have spent all day today worrying about how I’m going to completely wreck everything. Now I’m going to relax and enjoy my evening without guilt or stress. Thank you jordan and Alyssa: living the series
This is just such inspirational content Jordan. Alyssa is doing amazingly well and it has given me the kick up the backside I have needed to get back on it with both my eating and working out. Keep up the excellent work 👍🏼
Her energy is amazing! I’ve been watching her journey since the beginning, that’s when I came to find your videos !! Love them ❤ keep up that great work Alissa 🎉
Alyssa you are absolutely amazing! I have got the chance to follow Jordan for a few years now and this is by far my favorite series. Thank you both for opening up and sharing your knowledge for so many others like myself. I am currently seven months postpartum with my second over the course of the last three and a half years. I am struggling to love and appreciate my body for what it’s given me after battling infertility and PCOS among other things for so many years. This series has reminded me that it doesn’t have to be all or nothing. You have inspired me and given me a kick in the ass to do what I can with what I have at the moment and for that I’m thankful. Big love and wishing y’all nothing but the best!
Love how much this speaks to me! It’s a struggle but hearing you tell her it’s ok and weight fluctuations happen and there’s no need to shame yourself is exactly what I needed to hear! Thank you both!
It’s so reassuring to hear comments that have gone through my own head being acknowledged and heard, and also addressed without judgement and in fact with motivation. Thank you.
Please keep doing this series! This has been fantastic and absolutely amazing to see Alyssa shine throughout. You are helping so many people, Jordan and Alyssa! Thank you!
This video couldn’t come at a better time. I was/am processing the same mind game of consistency vs. the scale. AND I NEEDED THESE WORDS TO KEEP ME GOING. I don’t want to give up on myself. Not this time. So THANK YOU. Thank you for this series. Now to better work on the mental work behind “not eating to just eat” but actually honoring my fullness. Because my body is changing. I am 25lb down with 70+ to go. I need to relearn my body and its needs.
Oh. My. Gosh! It’s like you all have been in my head. I started my journey to losing weight after meeting with a nutritionist on 1/11. Yesterday, I weighed myself and the scale was up 3 pounds from where it was last week. I cried and felt shame. I woke up this morning feeling down on myself and then I watched this. I need to give myself some grace and know that the fluctuations will happen and that doesn’t mean it isn’t working and I have no reason to feel guilty. I need to focus on the non-scale wins. Thank you!
I'm loving the realness of these videos. Everything is relatable. Thanks to Alyssa for being open and honest about all of the feelings with this journey. Cannot wait for the rest of the series!
Hits hard this episode... all of this makes so much sense and it would be so hard to be the person in her position. Good on you Alyssa for continuing in such an inspiring way! X
Been a fun series to watch and sometimes those of us on similar journeys need reminding about not to beat ourselves up, life happens. Just need to jump right on it
I am BEGGING you to continue this series. It is helping so many people, including me! Alyssa is so real and relatable. I am absolutely rooting for her success. If nothing else, Alyssa you need to make your own youtube channel! I'd subscribe immediately.
agreed!!! 🎉🎉🎉🎉
I do agree!
Agree !!
I completely agree❤
Yes please!
PETITION TO GET ALYSSA HER OWN HOSTING GIG BECAUSE SHE IS FIIIIRE ON-CAMERA!!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
She’s so charismatic! What a natural on camera.

I wish this series wan't a month, but a year. it's really helpful!
Alyssa has a future as a UA-cam personality! She is hilarious. I love her attitude. Keep going gal!

I love how real Alyssa is. I’m excited for her. Wish I could get on track too
For someone who always says he isn’t a car guy. Jordan’s car analogies are so good!
I hope this series doesn't end because it is the most real thing and makes us all feel like we're not alone coz we are all going through a similar journey. Keep it up !

"The right weight is challenging but fun." Writing this down... Thanks J and Alyssa!
Jordan in the gym in his slippers is always my favourite. It makes me laugh every time. Fav part of the IC vids too.
I'm hooked on this series!! Go Alyssa Go!! We are cheering you on- YOU HAVE GOT THIS!!
This has been a great series. I love all the stretches you do. I reminds me mobility is super important.
I love how relatable this video is! Letting go of guilt is huge for weightloss and life in general 😊
So bummed this isn’t an ongoing series. Y’all are killing it and hitting home for so many!!❤

Always watch an epjsode while im on the treadmill. Great series to tune into!
Love this. Don't want this series to be over! Please continue!!
Still loving this series! I’ve commented before on mobility but I’m loving these mobility ideas for myself!
Jordan is so empathetic and kind! The type of trainer everyone needs!
Love this series and love Alyssa 🤩🤩. Thank you for promoting a healthy relationship with food, it's something I still need to work on...
"..taking the shame out..." such a good take on what he does
Let’s goooooo!!! My weight progress tracker for this month looks almost identical to yours. It’s SO hard to not get caught up when the scale stalls or spikes, but you’re absolutely crushing it! 🙌
I love just the overall realness. Thank you for sharing this chunk of your life with complete strangers. You rock!
Great series. Very relatable and reminds me of how much work and patience it takes to lose weight !
It’s crazy how “I know” all these things, but hearing it again in this manner hits so different. Thanks again for doing this series!
This may have been my favorite episode yet. Alyssa's struggles are very relatable. We all need to be reminded to look at the big picture of things.
This is an amazing series--so relatable. You all are a blessing!
Love these episodes with Alyssa I look forward to them every week
I love watching Alyssa. She’s a real person living her real life in a relatable way. Please continue this series!
You go, Alyssa! Helps to see someone else struggling when life's stressors get in the way-your attitude keeps me on track!
This is so relatable on so many levels! Can you please follow Alyssa for at least six months?!? Love following her journey and it's inspiring me to get my ish together.
I love watching you two! You should definitely do a 2nd series
This is absolutely the best series! Keep it up!
As I’m going through a similar journey, it’s great to hear Alyssa validate my feelings and then get feedback from the expert! Thank you both!
Needed to hear this about eating out at restaurants. I do feel like I’m missing out when I eat a salad instead of that plate of enchiladas that I love lol. Being consistent to me means being able to enjoy the foods you love without guilt then getting back on it the next meal
Awesome work! Love this episode and the discussion about 3 days in the broader perspective of your whole life!
This series is so great...it's so helpful to watch Alyssa overcome the same struggles I'm sure a lot of us have! Also, Alyssa did a kick-ass job on that intro....maybe she needs her own UA-cam channel!

Loving this series
This series is exactly what I need in the moments where I stall out. Alyssa is so relatable, I would love to see followups!
I find Alyssa to be so relatable! She is awesome.
I really needed this. Going out with friends tomorrow night and have spent all day today worrying about how I’m going to completely wreck everything. Now I’m going to relax and enjoy my evening without guilt or stress. Thank you jordan and Alyssa: living the series
Loving this! I'm sucked in and can't wait to see where this all goes! Please continue with the series. I love how real life this feels and is.
Alyssa is a natural. Very relatable.
Thank you so much for this series! This is so helpful, and I'm now very curious about the Inner Circle. ☺
Alyssa feels like a sister and Syatt the big bro! Thank you for all these amazing videos. Love from South Africa! 💛
Alyssa you are absolutely amazing! I have got the chance to follow Jordan for a few years now and this is by far my favorite series. I love seeing these series with real people doing real things ❤
Best episode yet. I hate to see this end, it is really resonating with me
Love how much this speaks to me!
Thank you.
Alyssa hoping your success continues and that we get updates!
Just need to jump right on it
Loved watching Alicia’s journey & Jordan’s teaching & coaching! More please! ❤
Would love monthly updates with Alyssa. Excellent series!!
