Hello everyone, I hope you are having a nice day. There were a couple of mistakes in the video but hopefully that just gives it more charm or whatever. See ya
Interesting fact, the reason the Demon Firesage isn’t immune to pyromancies is because it’ doesn’t cast pyromancies, It’s magic is actually fire sorceries. It’s one of the last casters of fire sorceries as that knowledge was lost and pyromancies were made to replace it.
Pretty sure that fire being fire, the actual reason is that he isn’t one of izalith’s children, or izalith herself. After all that’s the case of all the bosses that are immune to fire (bed of chaos, queelag, ceaseless and the body part of ceaseless that is the centipede). It’s just counterintuitive because he’s the only demon on fire that isn’t one of izalith’s children. That said he is still resistant to fire (just not immune), so… :/
I think it is quite obvious that "fire is fire" doesn't apply to Sark Souls lore. Fire has a tendency to do mythological things in this series. He is right, fire sorceries were lost and pyromancies replaced them since no one truly knew how to recreate it sincemost of the Daufhters of Izalith lost their minds to the Bed of Choas that the Witch Izalith made by mistake when trying to replicate the First flame (which created time, light dark, heat and cold).
@@omnipresentl1316 « I think it’s quite obvious that "fire is fire" doesn’t apply to Dark Souls lore » Sûre, except we aren’t talking about lore, we’re talking about gameplay. Or an inference from gameplay to lore. Thé reason why I say that fire demon is probably not immune to pyromancies because they’re pyromancies but because they’re fire is that other sources of fire damage (like bombs or dragonhead stone) will damage him just fine. So in that case it’s just about the element of fire, not about the fact that this fire was created via pyromancy. « He is right, fire sorceries were lost » Sûre, I never denied that, the point is that fire sorceries being lost isn’t what what makes him vulnerable to pyromancies, because he isn’t just vulnerable to pyromancies but to fire in general. What’s more, we don’t even have evidence that firearts did anything more than to produce fire in the same way as at least non chaos pyromancies do. After all quelana literally gives up « firestorm », same as in the intro, so most likely the fire would actually be the same in both cases.
@@nathanjora7627 Hes not resistant to fire, as said in the video it is his weakness. No doubt this is symbolic of the fire of chaos replacing his ordered fire sorceries.
@@baval5 … He is not weak to fire. At all. He is vulnerable to fire but it’s his highest elemental resistance and it’s one of the highest resistances in the game, especially for fire, without counting the four bosses that are wholly invulnerable to it. So no, it’s not symbolic of replacing a *fire* sorcery, with *fire* manipulation (pyro-mancy). Especially since by that logic the demonic daughters of chaos should also be vulnerable to fire, they aren’t, and izalith should also be vulnerable to fire, she isn’t. What’s more chaos firebugs and all other demons that aren’t specifically either izalith herself, or her blood and flesh (aka her children or their body parts) are vulnerable to fire, so it just goes to show that you’re completely wrong. Édit : « as it says in the video » goddamn I just caught that one, so guess what : the video is wrong. Just go look it up on wikidot or do your own research however you want, firesage isn’t « weak » to fire by any metric, fire is just really good. _I'm going into battle, and I need your weakest spells..._ Dark Souls 1 really is the forever game, man. Will never get tired of watching stupid challenge runs in this game.
The reason you can warp out if you're using the bonfire outside of the cell is because instead of making the bonfire one without the option to warp, they made the floor inside the cell tell the bonfire to take away the warp option. Why? I don't know completely, but I do suspect it's because they are reusing a mechanic where if you beat the Four Kings before obtaining the Lordvessel, you can warp out of the void from the bonfire to Firelink. Perhaps that area also marks the floor rather than the bonfire to change how warping works? Anyways hope y'all learned something new about this game, I'm always intrigued at hidden, or lesser know mechanics.
Fun fact, Great Soul Arrow, the tier up from Soul Arrow, will out damage a +15 composite bow with heavy arrows, and 27/40 str/dex. Magic is kinda busted in this game
This should definitely be yet another new series of beating Soulsborne series with weakest spells! Also you should do added new rules along the way like weakest armor, shield, rings, etc.

Don't know if anyone's commented it already (I did a quick search), but the reason the archer sometimes hits your back is because of a quirk with the level design. The pillar in the middle of their firing line completely blocks his vision if you're on the right side, but his AI tells him that if he walks down his strut, he'll be able to see you again if you're near the bottom corner, so if you pause for a second by the right corner then go around fully on the right, he'll walk too far to be able to land a hit near the top. If you go around on the left or run too fast round the right side he'll still be near/at the top and have a perfect shot at your back. Basically, be patient and take the right path, and you won't get attacked from behind. Miyazaki putting profound life lessons in the game.

Rename this video to “can you beat dark souls 1 using only weak magic unless I decide it’s too boring and I empower myself to the point where magic is crazy op again. Oh and I cheat for souls”
Bro what this was before you literally cheated your own challenge to make it easier by putting a spawn outside a boss room????????
I think that title will exceed the character limit, so I'll just stick with mine
if you don't like it feel free to make your own challenge run videos blud, nobody is stopping you.
Bruh, magic is busted in all of the DS games?
Yes
.
This man really just called magic balance and viable when it's been able to one shot nearly every boss in every single Souls game...
