Think of it this way : You inherit a genetic sequence that is becoming increasingly rare and gives you an enormous advantage if you were indeed put in a place that was no souls and all darkness. *positive outlook*
The trick that I like to use to make the 4 kings easier with low damage is using elizabeth mushrooms. The 100hp per second for 30 seconds is great for letting you stand there and get multiple hits in without having to worry about healing for a bit. Also loved the jump kill on Quelaag, definitely got style points for that one!

I actually did this challenge, and for anyone who wants to do it, i found using the hunter class was the easiest because you can use the crystal halberd in anor londo and have the same health and stamina. That halberd was a meat grinder with buffs and gold pine resins.
Yeah, I also did it, and that halberd was insane. Occult club and Blacksmith hammer are also pretty good for random mobs when you don't want to waste durability.

First I thought "Awesome storytelling !" but this challenge showed us all the magic behind Dark Souls : even if you're bad inoff to never use a single soul, the game always give you tools and I think I can play tons of fun playthroughs like this !
For Nito, you can just combine the Fog Ring and Slumbering Dragon Ring to have the minions ignore you completely. Works with Capra too, despite the cramped space.
1% of 100 total hp is a lot more impactfull than 1% of 2000 total. Bc, even if it takes around 50% of your health. In the second one you will still having 1000hp, and that will make you survive a lot of things
"We start by naming our character joja, after the soulless corporation of Stardew Valley" completely caught me by surprise. Accurate, though, joja is soulless, and much like dark souls, has random dead bodies and people who have given up on life all over the place.
First of all, genius idea to get the Ghostblade early, didn't think of that one. Now, the changes I would implement when doing this run myself are: Class: Hunter - you'll se why in the routing section. Routing: - I'm getting the Composite Bow + Large Arrows in New Londo as well as the feathered ones, adding those to my initial stack of 30 standards should be enough to safely cut the tail from under the bridge. I can also use the bow to aim the bombs towards Ingward. I'm also getting the Morning Star to beat Tauros then upgrading to the Ghostblade. - I'm doing Capra and Gaping Dragon after Anor Londo, going straight to Queelag. RTSR should carry me through this section. - The most important change: GET THE CRYSTAL HALBERD IN ANOR LONDO. This will make O&S, 4 Kings, and the DLC a LOT more manageable and is the strongest weapon we can get without spending souls BY FAR. The hunter has just enough stats to 2-hand it. - I'm definitely cheesing Nito and Bed of Chaos. - Slight changes in the order of bosses. that's wild that durability didn't come up until near the end, I was thinking of that the whole time lmao, as to my knowledge, there are no repair powders you can get without spending souls.
i always say to myself that Durability is a non issue for 95% of the players/runs with how high it is and how cheap it is to fix... This run was kinda a proof to me with how far you get without issue under extrem condition xD

so fun fact about power within, its health drain is actually based on a percentage of your max hp iirc, so it kinda just kills you at the same rate regardless.

It may be interesting trying a no souls run with different classes. Sorcerer may not have the strenght to use most of the weapons but may use great magic weapon. With hunter we can use almost every dropped weapon in game.
It's absolutely mind-blowing to realize this build trivialized the Capra Demon, while other more legitimate builds and methods gave up at the Capra Demon.
