Yesterday i was about to ask you to replicate 6 SAM Dodge with F-16, purely Maneuver Only (No Chaf or Flare) Or just simply dodge as many missile as you can, and see how long can you survive 😅
More SEAD would be awesome! More multirole stuff in general would be kinda cool, mixing it up with like some CAS in contested airspace or whatnot 👍 But keep doing what you enjoy, it's more fun to see you having fun than to do stuff just to check it off a list
I absolutely adore SEAD. Really puts a more practice-oriented lens on the content than the usual duel vids. Fighting in a vacuum is nice and all, but it's nice seeing something a bit more involved.
I've also found MiG-21s to be surprisingly resilient when going for gun kills. Not sure how accurate it is, but usually they take fairly sustained hits of 20mm before they go down.
Despite how much I love the Hornet and the Eagle, your videos have done so much justice for the Viper. To the point where I now have a well-established respect for that aircraft. Decades of service, and a proven combat-effective platform. Thank you
Great vid as always! My home country (Slovakia) is replacing our old MiG-29s with 14 F-16 Vipers, first ones should arrive in 2024, can't wait to see them. Our pilots are already training with the 162nd wing in Tucson, AZ!
F-16 is such a beast! ever since I was a young lad, I always have considered the F-16 as the first thing that comes to mind when someone says "fighter Jet". It's just such an amazing Aircraft and the HUD in Visor is just one other thing that makes this Jet a true masterpiece in my opinion. I mean, the fact he took all those Vehicles out, and the four Migs? Absolute carnage of a beast! Tie all that into its massive Thrust to weight ratio and its just one of the best fighters by far! Great Flying and defending as always GS! I love the updates as of recent, keep up the amazing work as always brother
Aye growling! Can you do a dogfight between the F-15 and F-18? I feel like I’ve never seen one at all. It would be interesting because of the 2 circle and 1 circle tactics. The F-15 is good at both, 85% of the time. F-18 is really good at the 1 circle, but against the F-15 in a 2 circle it will be really challenging.
@@bigbitehood1353 To addon, there’s only one dogfight, 3 years ago. They have updated the flight models accurately better, and the F-15 and F-18 merging on the other video is a shoot to kill on merge. They were BVR fighting.
This is the kinda stuff I like. I got into DCS after reading Viper Pilot by a F16 pilot who did SEAD operations, so this is right up that alley. I'm learning the basics of DCS on the F16C and hope to get to this level of flying.
Awesome. Even Doug Masters would have been proud of that mission although he probably would have gunned the enemy tower while rocking out just to teach them a lesson.
That was really entertaining to watch you try to juggle the air to ground targets and air to air targets while also defending surface to air missiles and airborne targets jeez that was hard to just say let alone have the awareness to deal with all that simultaneously bravo bravo
For those who do not know. Magnum is brevity code for anti-radiation like the AGM-45 Shrike, Rifle is the code for electronic guidance like the AGM-65 Maverick.
Growling Sidewinder, another excellent video!. Love the way that Fox-3 just tracks the Mig-29. So cool. Love the tank Jettison. Love those HARM decent shots. Keep doing these videos. Still want to see more MIG-31 videos too.
Very cool that your F-16 is a Wolf Pack jet. Kunsan Air Base, 80th TFS. That’s the yellow tipped vertical stab. When I was at Kunsan I was in the the 35th. Blue tipped vertical stabs.
Love the new angle on the mission type! Would love to see more. And also would love to see you do some of the standard missions available with each module.
I like these mini-mission like videos the most. Really shows the capabilities of the aircraft. Would love same style of videos for older planes as well.
So first off, hi ! I was looking for an actual footage of the cyberwarfare system of the F-16 and found your video... Now switching to a totally different subject but wow, this simulator looks like it's the Combat version of MS Flight Sim. I need it. Thank you so much for the amazing video, I'm gonna play this sim as soon as I get my hands on a good HOTAS (or tbh, when I can afford one) :)
Any and all missions are interesting, really enjoy both dogfights and more dynamic engagements like this. Not to mention you have a very nice voice so it's soothing to listen to, no homo ❤️
I really enjoy this air to ground missions, I feel like they are not explore enough in the chanel, I´ love to see air to ground using Su-25 or other plataforms. Love your content!
I'd love to see some Ace Combat style missions. I think you're one of the few DCS pilots that could survive a scenario like that in DCS. I tried an F-18 Campaign and realized that only a superhuman could survive legitimately.
just how impressive is dcs? The realism they have brought to this. I imagine this could be an amazing tool for the cadets just begining the fighter pipeline. To learn theory and capabilities like this. I can't imagine their simulation program could surpass this by much.
your missile override keybind button is best to switch from any current mode to a/a in a pinch. usually it is bound on the throttle (boat switch aft for missile override mode, boat switch forward is for dogfight mode)
I'm about half way through reading "Viper Pilot" by Dan Hampton, so F-16 SEAD is near and dear to me at the moment. Really enjoying the mission-based videos!
Very cool! Honestly, I usually skip the debriefs, but it was done perfectly in this video. Thank you! Also, hoping for more WWII videos. I'm old AF, so I have a nostalgia for that kind of content. :)
Crazy Machinery ! Lovin it once again.I have over 2000 hours of DCS according to Steam. ( Have no idea if thats much or little ) But whenever i watch your vids i learn something new, each time. Thanks GS.
Hey GS, how about an F-16 battle royale? Grab a few friends or willing sacrifices, and have each person fly a different version of the F-16. Best of 5 rounds...maybe 2 rounds BVR, 2 rounds guns only, and a final round of anything goes?
It would be interesting to see an Apache take on a mission similar to this and see if it can defend itself against fighters while completing it's mission against some ground targets + AA.
I'd honestly like to see low level flying BVR with SAMs scattered haphazardly, preferably within canyons, hills. It's risky flying, let alone if it escalates into a merge. I'd also like to see more SEAD missions. How many can you take on with 1-2 4th gen aircrafts?
Not sure if you listen to the Fighter Pilot Podcast, but they have an episode dedicated to talking about the Wild Weasels. It's easily one of my favorite episodes, and the Weasels are absolute badasses lol. More SEAD missions would be awesome to see!

loved it. air yo air is awesome, but can easily be incorporated into ground attack missions as you’ve demonstrated. recommend pop those SA systems as soon as in range. you don’t guide the HARM after launch and can boogie. furthermore the SAMs don’t move - range isn’t an issue. even if the radar shuts down, the HARM should remember the position.
