From time to time I like to dabble in Virtual Reality, I think VR is a great new technology and I love to show that stuff off for the channel from time to time.

I was today years old when I learned that JDAMs are GPS and not laser guided. Super cool.
I do infact believe that there are also laser- and tv-guided jdam variants, but yes, in his vids gs mostly uses gps jdams...
there is also one now that is anti EW. acts like a HARM from my understanding but targets jamming sources (jamming GPS I would assume)

The HARM has a single electro optical sensor to back up the seeker and hit the target. It is on the bottom.

Sure the Viper, and Eagle are “old”, but they are also part of a team. In a peer vs peer battle, a sky full of Vipers, Eagles, Lightning II, and Raptors are going to be a problem.

I'm always surprised how much black smoke the MiG-29 engines give off. Maybe it's just when it's at or near full power.

Those SA 6’s are an absolute menace!
The Israelis named it The Three Fingers of Death, they along with Shilkas did a number on the Israeli Airforce in 1973. The Israelis captured some and with improved tactics , ECM and decoys did a number on them in 1982 Operation Mole Cricket though and got their revenge. Soviets learned from that and increased the missile to 4 in the next gen Buks and put fire control radars on each TELAR unlike the single one for the battery of the Kubs.

Dude, you should try the P-51 dogfighting the YF-23. It's a weird fight but I would be interested. Or the P-47 if they have that. I don't play DCS myself so I am not aware of what is available.
Are the harm missiles that much faster than those fired by t her SA-3/6? Seems like they fired way before you did.

What would be really cool is you flying the Iraqi MiG 29 and showing us what they could have done vs that F16 with the available SAM support. After all we all know the US easily won the air battle. The question here is could the Iraqi’s have done any better?
