Yeah but how do we use this information. For finding the magnitude of resultant when vectors are perpendicular we can simply use pythagoras. Is there a similar way for finding the length of diagonal when 2 sides are given in a parallelogram in one single equation without spliting the vectors in i and j caps.

Technically it's triangle law just we are taking an equal vector which moved Right that's ac in place of ob hece traingle law resultant will be oc itself
Not the owner, but it depends on your vector diagram. You would require trigonometric rules like cosine/sine rule, pythagoras theorem and Tao Cah Soh to solve for magnitude and angle (direction).
many things are missing in this explanation such as they have left the angle concept between 2 vectors in a parallelogram.....you simply cannot add 2 vectors with the same co initial point without knowing the angle between them

Why can't we apply the Parallelogram Rule of vector addition for two parallel vectors?
there is no need to apply these law because its sum will be either 0 or sum
of the magnitude of the two vectors
This is the best
Thankyou 😊😍🤣

Super 👍 mam put more videos on vector
This only in tail to tail?
My exam is at 2:50 and I watch it now😅
What if adjacent sides have common head instead of common tail then what will be their resultant
in parallelogram law?
Well this is nice and all but is it any easier to solve than the triangle versions
is Parallelogram Method only used for Addition?
