I liked chemistry, I got a C or a B- I think, but I failed due to my own negligence in studying for the first exam (conversions and basic stuff) and the fourth exam (heat enthalphy, thermochemistry and gas laws). Failed the first exam cause I thought I could wing it like I did in highschool, failed the fourth exam because it was spring break before the exam and I didn’t study. Taking physics rn, but my professor is making things overcomplicated

Why is it that when I learn it from you I just get it but can't learn from my teachers... I think you are much more thorough and explain the rationale behind things that the professors don't feel the need to explain since they are 'prerequisite.' Like I may already know those things but it is difficult to apply them if it is not made absolutely clear when they should be applied... thank you, you've helped a lot over the years.

It's a really odd thing. Some of us like you and I just struggle at extracting the information from the teacher. We need the central dogma to understand what is going on, and they just don't teach it, simple as that.

@MissMolang Maro Deadass I legit cannot even tell if it's my teacher or the subject itself. He acts like this stuff is common knowledge and it's not even like i'm bad at science. I got above a 90 in my chem class last year for the whole year! Math isn't my strong suit either tho which is why I think it's hurting me so bad.

    • @awkwardrainbowpotato5620

@MissMolang Maro It's been five months since i've written this comment and nothing has changed. I found out that no one else in the class has any f*ing idea what's going on, but for some reason the teacher will not slow down to make sure everyone can understand it. I should've never taken physics. ._.
