I need a G37 Coupe, 2018 86, Honda Civic and Accord (newer), for videos just like this one. Comment yours or a friend IG that’d be down for a similar basic build:
I have jdm integra type R headlights that need love and I want to do something neat to them to make them stand out from everyone else that now has a type r or jdm front end swapped integra. I’m down to send them if you’re interested. And of course make some money as well
Still here. I'm a car guy and work in stage lighting full time. So this stuff is just so interesting to someone who works with lights in a different capacity and enjoys cars.
@@flyryde Hey Chris, I noticed you didn't strip the chrome from the eyebrow on the Genesis coupe. Does this chrome strip like the rest of the plastics?
Over a year later...I'm still here! Getting ready to crack the headlights on my '17 Ram 2500 to replace the lenses and add demon eyes. These housings have already been converted to HID projectors and LED pods. My first time [blush]. Been watching your vids for the knowledge and confidence. Big thumbs up for taking the time to make these instructional videos. Very much appreciated!
Great video, thank you. I'm curious if the two pieces you left chrome are also of the same material that can be stripped with the Zep decreased. I would like to do a full blackout.
I’m installing halos and sequential led strip on a 2016 in 2 weeks, I fixed a pair last year but totally forgot how to wire the accessories (because I won’t have the car here, just the lights) this video was a life saver 👌🏻 I watched all 22 min and it was great! I love that you actually show what’s involved and how long opening headlights take. People complain on the price for something as simple as chrome delete but they don’t understand and totally wouldn’t do it themselves Definitely subscribing 🙏🏻
Dude I care, keep them coming! Because of you and your videos I am going to do a whole custom set up for my 3g Eclipse with my Dad. With your teachings, his 35 years in the PA National Guard as a helicopter electrician and my car customization interests we can do this. Thank you man!
All the way from Saudi, Still here . I learned a lot from your Channel. However, I will leave my OEM headlights to people with proper tools than myself but definitely will be sharing the knowledge I got from you with them. Adios Amigo 🙏🏾
Still here. Looking for ideas on building my '07 RX8. You can thank Colette for putting me onto your channel. This is the first time I have seen such an in-depth video regarding headlights AND it was great because you didn't time lapse anything. I would rather sit through an hour long video and get every single angle and shot and all the real unedited content covering all the little details or roadblocks one would face when doing a project like this themselves (me). So thank you.
So I'm still here.. I've been honestly curious about doing headlight custom work for a bit of a while now.. so having another tuber who knows what they're doing is good to see..
I’M STILL HERE!! Thank you for all the tips and info. Your videos got me to be able to do cool stuff to all my friends and families headlights for price of parts. I’m doing a custom Volvo p80 headlight internals into a Volvo V70 wagon housing, de-chromed and it’s a lot of modifications to make it work but I’m very confident now tearing into headlights. I love making a set of headlights look brand spankin new!
I know you do a lot of custom work to many different headlights that already have projectors and the groundwork done in terms of overall design. Do you have any plans to do a video on adding a projector to existing reflector headlights? Such as the nut and bolt method?

Seeing this video makes me want to get back into it.
Holy shiii i got a comment. Bro no your the man. What your doing is so cool and i am a very big technical vehicle customizer and enthuziest. About to open my own shop to do mods and installs😝
It's funny. In another video you talk about all the "don't" when rebuilding headlights and almost immediately after watching a few videos from other sources I'm there like....FlyRyde said not to do that. I'm a DIYer simply because I don't have the money to throw at my daily driver.
