So many “That’s what She said” moments 😂
lol
😂😂😂
I was just in the comments to say this !
You beat me to it 😂 I was gonna say “All the things she said about the guy who she told you not to worry about”
I want to see what those plants looked like!
You can use one of those cuttings as a trellis for another, smaller monstera
lmao true
Girthy. You’re trying to say they’re girthy. 😂
This.... This caused a lot of thoughts I wasn't prepared for....
We’re still talking about cuttings right? 😅
He knows what he's doing
????????
boi u be sayign thicc too muuch LOL
Looking forward to seeing the progress of these beauties.
Holy sht. That is very cool. You're going to need some huge pots. Also you'll have to get creative with rooting and propagation. I'm here for it. Very cool.
Who even needs dumbells when you can lift monstera instead?
Legend has it it still gets more better from where we all thought😅
Lio
Ooooo I want a piece 😂
lmao
I'm so excited for the results.
me too i hope they root and dont just rot away
But WHERE do you find theses ? Does your friend oversea send it ? If he's selling some i'd like to have a link pls
Geez that is too big. That is not a houseplant. That is a tree that belongs outside.
That's unbelievable!!! 💚🪴🌱
So jealous! Can't wait to see!
Damn, just damn
Instant subscribe 😱
can't wait to see how they grow
My favorite plant! Amazing
Thanks
"Thats what she said"
Wow so lucky! 😮
Very very impressive! I never really had big monstera plants myself. Maybe i can grow one to that size one day. Would definitely be cool to have that.
What did the plants look like 😮
Best of luck!
Happy Pride 😂
I have a huge monstera with cutting like this at home, but i don't know how to make new plantes of it with only cutting with no leaves,
Good thing you follow techplant because I'm in the same boat and I'm sure he is going to show us.
@@joannelasage2053he does have at least one video where he shows how you can prop leaf less nodes! I also have my own experience with leafless props, i have 4 nodes of a mosntera adansonii in a prop bin, all had no leaves originally. All 4 have leaves shooting out, and 3 have roots, the last one I believe will send out roots in a matter of time.
Almost all of my recent pothos props had no leaves as well, and theyre all doing great 💖 plants are incredibly resilient and will try whatever they need to to survive
My recommendation is to get a plastic container with a lid that will fit your cutting, and make sure that lid has vents (and you can cut them if it doesn’t). Fill that container with spagnum moss and pour water over the moss, letting it soak up the water and expand. Once it’s throughly soaked, squeeze out the excess moisture and put it back into the container. Now lay your cutting on top of the moss, making sure the small brown bumps at the node are making contact with the moss. Eventually from that node point it will pop out both a leaf and roots! It’ll take a while though, especially for the roots to form, so be patient and your patience will be rewarded:) good luck!!
Wow
Where do you get your large node cuttings? I'd like a large pothos node please 😢
you gotta make some friends with people in florida or tropical greenhouses. thats really the only way most of the massive stuff has grown up a tree
@@TechplantChannel ah gotcha. Come to think of it I don't know anyone in Florida. Guess I better start
@@TechplantChannel accurate haha. In Florida and pothos grows everywhere with massive leaves climbing up trees.
I live in florida and have some gigantic monstera and pothos so yeah techplant is right here, make friends with me.
@@gavinpaull1793we're bff's now. Please send. Haha
Where did you get them from ?
😏😏😏
lol
HOLY COW! where did you find these!
It will take months to a year to leaf. Hope it wont rot 🤞
I hope so too
a month or 2, i don't know about a year tho. i stick my cutting straight to soil and it leafed after a month.
How long does it typically take for those monster cuttings to start producing new growth?
Where did you find these beauties
Hey can u tell me , while potting my monstera , I pulled it up and my roots broke up , and it looked like ur last 2 cuttings , so is there any possibility of roots growing back from those tiny holes ?
Dude where can i buy one like this?
Can you propagate one in a bin with fluval stratum??? That stuff roots any cutting like crazy! I'd be interested to see the results 😊
😂😂😂😂 I'm dead. They're the biggest I've seen
Yeah they are crazy
how much are the cuttings?
Mystery Solved: Cause when you get your cuttings from the Caribbean where monstera deliciosa is known as the breadfruit tree, the cuttings are tree sized.
Yeah large form gets ridiculously large. I want one so bad.
Are they really delicious?
in Miami these r normal😂. when i was a kid i used to play with them and pretend they were octopus tentacles
When I grow these cuttings they have small leaves like money plant and not the huge leaves with cuts, so what should I do? Can you reply please to have larger leaves in pots.
Where can i get them
I want one of those so badly 😭😭😭
Damn that’s thick 😏
Beastly
We're did u Buy?
It's so BIG!!!!
That's what she said.
Please, any updates??
new one is dropping maybe like Monday or Wednesday, some cool stuff happened
@@TechplantChannel Thank you for the update!
We need update
I only have roots but I transferred it to soil from water will it make it or die?
If it has a node it should take
This is all I can say..😍😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰
Its cool
But where are you gonna put them once they start growing💀
that a problem for future me to solve lmao
@@TechplantChannel😂😂😂😂
Time for a greenhouse 😁 you can get some pretty cheap ones that are easy to set up online!
@@that.neurodivergent got any suggestions?
I’m so curious to see what come out. Will the leaves be completely juvenile like usual with a mid cut or will they come out with tertiary fenestrations
It’ll come out like baby leaves with no fenestrations. I have a large monstera that I’ve chopped a few times and it’ll always grow young leaves before popping big ones.
I guess my curiosity is more like how many baby leaves before a giant is back compared to the normal way the plant would mature
I came back from Hawaii with pothos wet sticks…. lol as thick as 2 fingers… they all rotted unfortunately
I’m thinking about strange things. 😮😮
I have the same at the moment ! Got it over the weekend from a massive plant growing in my neighbors overgrown garden, that’s getting cleaned out. Was wondering how to do it properly propagate. Hope you solve it before my two cuttings perish hehehe
🙃
I'm trying a lot of different stuff. I will make some updates this weekend though
@@TechplantChannel awesome thanks, looking forward to it. Do you think its necessary to let the wound "cure" first ? before planting or trying to form new roots?
So excited that you have the same thing at the moment. I love your videos!
i also got a branch of a Coral Tree, and a cutting from a lemon tree. hope it all roots :D
How is this going? I just got one that’s 26” inches long. Have it in a huge prop box here in southern AZ. We’re having monsoons. So keeping the moisture inside is going well. But I check on it multiple times a day. I hope it doesn’t rot or have any problems. Would love to hear how yours are and any tips you have 😊 🙏🏽
Hi ! Wow that is huge ! my lemon tree rooted :D and I think the coral cuttings might've made some roots. Regarding the monstera, I neglected them a bit and one of them totally rotted but then again I just left it outside and it rained too much! The other part is still alive but haven't made new roots. It's about 30cm (15inches plus minus) I think the ideal would be not to have too much moisture directly in contact with it but in a slightly moist environment to stimulate roots. Maybe something like moist peat moss and then dry clay balls or perlite on top of that and then the root, if that makes sense. That is what I am going to try, at the moment it's just under a bush lol, I needed it to dry out a bit. Please keep me updated on your progress, im sure it will work out.@@Madsexyvegan
ps I am in Cape Town :)
You vs the guy she tells you not to worry about
Ur literally part of jupiters embassy, you got all the girls you want -
Monstera can be used as wood 🤔🤔
Let me tell you I ran to the comments lmaooo
Does big cutting = first leaf is gonna be big?
usually bigger than average and it will enlarge at a much faster pace
Thank god I'm not the only one with dirty mind
You should totally make it a giveaway tho
I would DIE just to have a node cutting from that
Looks like you need my address 😂
Once took one like this, but it wasn’t a monstera
Wow!! Those are huge!!
thats what she said💀
Thought it was a lobster
Wow thats massive! Use a chainsaw to propagate 😅 I want one!
Lol
Man thats average
its a grower not a shower!!!!!
KEEP THAT THANG MOIST
Girthy
...phrasing...anyone...??
So what the fuck is the point?
💚Send me a chunk of this please😊💚🪴
