I love reliving GoT through other people's eyes.
Omg me toooooo🥺🥺🥺
And you are not the only one. :)
Same
Discovering reaction videos opened up an entirely new world to me ❤
My new favorite hobby
The Night King just gave Jon the biggest “Come at me bro,” of all time!
Hell yeah damn your so right P.S.
the guy who played the night king said he loved filming the arm raise bit cos he felt awesome doing it lol, it was like the dead version of "come at me bro"
When Jon holds Longclaw in the air and yells "Night's Watch With Me!" as the handful of Brothers in Black run to the other direction of the retreating sea of Wilding grays, that freeze frame moment leading up to the Valyrian Steel revelation; and the ending with the Night King slowly walking through that creeking plank. Those are the three shots I live for. The cinematography is A1. It's emotive and ominous. This one's up there with the top episodes.
It's astounding how HBO just send to get it right one show after the next. Everything they do, story, cinematography etc is art at the highest level. Imagine if they somehow came to own a property like star wars or marvel. Not throwing shade on Disney but I would love to see those properties change hands from time to time.
@@VonJay Facts bro!
My favorite moment of Jon, ordering that attack, it says so much about him.
During Daenary's birth, aside from her mother dying, the storm that hit Dragonstone ravaged the Targaryan fleet stationed there, thus destroying their defense and early warning system. Because of this, they would have had no way of knowing that King Robert had sent Stannis to attack Dragonstone. The Lannister and Iron fleets were all the way on the other side of Westeros and loyal to Robert, and the Redwyne fleet, although loyal to the Targaryans, were besieging Storm's End. One of the only logical explanations is that a raven was sent to warn them. The only former Targaryan affiliates who were in King's Landing at the time the order was given were Varys, Barristan(maybe), and Pycelle. Barristan was too hurt and simple to be of any use and Pycelle was firmly loyal to Tywin. Additionally, when Willem Darry smuggled Dany and Viserys off of Dragonstone, they eventually landed in Pentos with Illyrio Mopatis, an associate of Varys. As such, Varys is the only clear suspect to have saved baby Dany.
I think varys is a targaryen, there are many hints. I mean just look at how his name rhymes with other targaryen names, daenerys, viserys, varys. That's why I think he has shaved his head too.
@sulochanedissanayake5850 given that he has lost traces of a lysene accent, the chances are higher that he's a blackfyre or a brightflame or from another house with valyrian ancestry
And she thanked him by having Drogon BBQ him 🥲
Still don't know how you have under 10k subs. You're easily the most observant, genuine, and entertaining GoT reactor. By far. Also, I am excited to continue the journey into the MCU with you! keep up the good stuff, Major!
I appreciate that
@@MajorReacts For real! So many others don't understand 1/5th of the info you do. It's kind of annoying watching them, honestly haha.
Sure the show is still great for people not trying to really learn the lore/history, but knowing these tiny details really helps the story :)
@@Clefus-o6b Exactly how I feel. It’s so satisfying when a reactor can make astute observations and keep up with the information. It’s frustrating when you’re watching reactors who say silly things or ask stupid questions.
Totally agree with this statement!🙂 I just joined your channel this week and you are the best reactor! Genuine! Love from 🇬🇧
you make me feel like I'm watching this with a friend 😊
Hell yeah Natalie but we family
@@MajorReacts I want only good for you and your family 💕 . Keep being you. Thanks.
Peter won 4 Emmys for his portrayal of Tyrion and *i think* was nominated the entire run of GoT. Im surprised Alfie Allen (Theon) was only nominated once and that Lena (Cersie) or Emilia (Daenarys) never won. The whole cast was just amazing
Ok, the "leader" is the Night King. Also, if you recall, Craster bragged to Mormont that he had 99 sons. You saw what happened to the boys.
When Tyrion says Varys is probably the main reason Daenerys didn't die in her crib, he meant that Varys told King Robert (who was hunting Danny and her brother for quite some time after their escape) exactly as much as he needed to ensure he would stay in Roberts good graces. However, he always delivered the information in such a way that Danny and Viseris would have time to escape or be rescued or what have you.
Keep in mind, we've known since season 1 that Varys is working together with Illyrio, the man who sheltered Danny and Viseris at the beginning of Season 1. So it was basically always confirmed for the show that Varys is either a Targaryen loyalist or at the very least has an interest in keeping the Targaryen lineage alive.
We can imagine for example that while he would tell Robert of "rumors" that the Targaryen children where currently hidden in some eastern city, his spies would also deliver messages to whomever was currently sheltering the children that they needed to be moved again.
Facts
One thing this series does better than most is show true human nature, faults and strengths, how complicated we are. That’s why you can feel one way about a character one episode and the exact opposite another. And that’s true to real life.
The last scene is so heart breaking. You can see the tears in Tormund's eyes, he/they could not save all his people.
Great reaction Major!
Love me some Tormund♥️
What do u mean by “he/they” ?
@@JT_Gamble ...I believe he meant Tormound individually and John and his boys. At least my interpretation
This is my favourite season! Hardhome is also my favourite episode of the entire show! The ending when they’re rowing away and Jon sees the scale of what is coming is so sobering! It really drives it home like SH*T this is not a game. The dead are not playing and the threat is as real as it gets. 😳😳😳
The visuals here man! The visuals!!! Ahhh. That dull white/colorless fatalism of hardhome is straight up next level. The "shield that guards the realms of men" finally comes face to face with Death itself. Excellent episode!
Tyrion didn't do Mormont dirty, he saved his life. Without saying what he did, I believe Khalissi would have had him killed.
40:00 I’ve been rewinding and laughing at this for like 3 minutes already. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣😵
Same here! I even took screenshots for my GOT album in my photos app. There’s so many iconic moments in this series that make for great reactions! Hardhome is one of my favorite episodes of the entire series! The hype is so freaking real with this episode! This moment had me just as hyped as Major was! 😂
Hardhome is a fantastic episode with great scenes. If you look closely, you can see Emilia and Iain acting with their eyes in that scene in the pyramid. The director of the episode said it was incredible to watch, take after take, if one of them started getting watery eyes, the other's eyes would begin to water as well. And that great ending sequence. This episode is my #8 personal favorite GOT episode.
I really dig how Game of Thrones Set a bit of a precedent in the 1st 3 or 4 seasons.... Of knowing which episodes would probably be a little bit more epic than the rest. Like we all know to dread episode 9...... And premiere episodes and season finales are usually on the better end.
Then they sort of started adding in random random episodes peppered in to the middle of seasons that are so awesome you're so awesome and you totally weren't expecting them to be that awesome.
This is a prime example. Hardhome came out of nowhere and jumped way high up on the "holy shit what just happened, and give me more of it please" meter
Hardhome is one of my favorite episodes. For the ambience alone. That dark and desolate snowy panorama throughout the evacuation always gives me slow anxiety. The environment feels very "Othery", pun intended. It's a continuation of the darkness of the recent episodes. As I said last time, the North just feels like a dystopian fairy tale inverted on its head right now, mesmerizing in its eerie silence.
This is hands down one of my favorite GoT episodes, Miguel outdid himself when he directed this. This is the episode that made him famous.
FYI - Septa Unella is the lead actress in Ted Lasso, Hannah Waddingham. HARDHOME IS ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE EPISODES. 😁❤️
Ah Hardhome. One of my favorite episodes. My daughter and I were literally screaming at the TV the last 20 minutes.
In my opinion, the scene at Hardhome is one of the best 15 minutes ever filmed for television. I LOVE that scene! Great to see it again through the eyes of someone who had no idea what was about to take place!
The dynamic between Dany and Tyrion here, the talk they have about their fathers, Varys, the two families' intertwined past, the ruling elite and breaking the wheel, all of it is very engaging. The walkers appearing on top of that foggy hill like the four horsemen of apocalpyse >>>
Tormund is one of my favorites in this show! He never disappoints.
I'm glad to hear from you 75 hope all is well
@@MajorReacts yeah Homie, everything is all good here, just busy. Glad to see more of your GOT reactions.
Same I love him ❤❤❤❤
I'm so effing hyped for you to finish this season. That's all. I just want you to know I'm here with you, cheering as loudly as you are (and scaring my cats lmao).
My cats grew accustomed to my screaming at the TV during GoT. 🤣
Hell yeah thank you for coming along this journey with me
Finally your reaction to Hardhome. Have been looking forward to your reaction and you did not disappoint 👏. This is the episode where you can really see the threat the White Walkers and the Knight King has to all of humanity. Just one of the best episodes ever.
That episode had me gasping for air!
Damn this is sick! I was just thinking “I wonder if Major put something new, let me check” and BOOM what do I see? This! Got my Wine glass ready so time to get entertained. 😍 One of the best episodes in tv history!!!🔥
One of my favorite episodes of the show. What I love about it is that, throughout the show, we've only seen glimpses of what this giant threat can do. This is the episode where we get to see what the white walkers are capable of and how big of a threat they are.
Chills, and SO GLAD to know he's jumping right into 9, and 10 and hoping we get them right away
I was waiting for you to watch this episode
Can we all admit than Jon has the best speech of the entire series right here in this episode?? That get me heated every time!!!!!!! Love your reaction! You rock 😜
Hardhome is my favorite episode. The interactions you get between characters is great. Not to mention the greatest threat making an intimidating presence.
1st of my 4 top favorite episodes! And when Tormund became one of my favorite characters too👏🏻👏🏻
It’s just the time spent w/ Cersei.
We’ve been with her for many seasons after losing so many other people so she becomes familiar and almost likeable. And Lena is beautiful which doesn’t hurt .
And the fact she's not evil.shes just a unfortunate person trying to protect her family.like most of these characters.
@@baronhomer1 No, she's evil... just like her father. But she's still my favorite character in the show.
@@NovaLena22 well for me evil is a different level.soneone can be unlikable or cruel or manipulative and still not be evil.she just doesn't reach evil like joffrey or Ramsey do.and tywin definately dont for me.
@@NovaLena22I also wouldn’t call her evil. She just has no empathy for anyone outside her family (and Tyrion lol). She‘s self-centered and ruthless. But people like Joffrey and Ramsay are truly evil.
I remember when I first saw the scene in the ending when everybody got up from the dead I tripped out I was like what!!
Lmao when time slows down as the White Walker Walker approaches Jon then the swords connect and their eyes meet 👀. It's scenes like that why I like watching reaction videos lol. Reactors never disappoint in that one. That "lessss go" was like 10 secs long 😂😂😂. Phenomenal ep. and reaction!
This episode was critically acclaimed and I absolutely love it because I love the gloom & doom undertone of the battle, Sapochnick's direction is very different from the previous battles. Things like Hardhome is why the show was doing peak viewership around this time and this season won an unparalleled total of 12 Emmys, Breaking Bad won 16 all total in context. It's why I love five despite the controversial last two episodes. "Wicked Games" is the perfect theme for this season. Anything with a Hardhome in it is a net positive in my book.
This is the episode that made me love GoT. Up to this point I was just going through the motions of watching it. I was enjoying it but it always felt like I was watching it so I wasn’t missing out and I was fine waiting a week for the next episode or a year for the next season but the last 15-20 minutes of this one made me sit up and take notice. I was hooked after this one. My favourite episode of all time.
I hope you rewatched the show after, to soak in the things you missed the first time.
@@Nodnarbanator oh yeah. A few times. And I appreciated it far better than I did the first time I saw it because I was giving it my full attention after this episode.
Also my favourite episode. Made me start taking the show seriously
This is one of my absolute favorite episodes and am so excited to watch this
Yesssss, I've been waiting for this one, Major. Hard Home, let's gooooo! 🥰
The Doom is what happened to Valeria, when the 13 flames (volcanoes) that surrounded it blew up and it all went crashing into the sea. It's not really known as the Doom, but they all believe it is a curse place now.
Once you realize that all the characters are a product of trauma, you can cry for them all.
That is so true! All of them have some point in life that trauma that came to be the result of their actions, behavior and choices in life wether it be good or evil!
Let’s go, holy smokes this is a good one… Major meets the Night king! we are getting to the hardcore film making now! PLEASE binge the next few…. The next 4, please binge the next 4!!!
I’m pumped for season 6!! You are the only reactor I’ve seen get this into the lore. Love it man!
The Wildling warrior woman is also the same actress who played the singer Kommosar in Pitch Perfect 2.
She can play anything.
25:55 "Try not to worry, Olly. I've been worrying about Jon for years. He always comes back!" Oh, indeed!
Let’s gooooo!!! Great reactions, as always. This episode is so awesome!
Theon's actor is freaking amazing
One of my favorite episode. Great reaction Major.
Made me laugh out loud when you were talking about doing backstroke because you would have wanted to escape but still see what was going on. Great reaction! ♥
This is an awesome show!! So glad you are watching it. Gives a whole new twist to zombie movies. Eventually a person will come to the point where they no longer fear if they are forced to suffer torture too long.
lmao best reaction ive ever seen to longclaw stopping and killing that white walker. love that moment so much
I'm glad you dropped something new bc it was boring & dry in these You Tube streets lol!! Let's gooooo!
Seeing the Night King raise the dead into wights made me realize that everything that happens South of the Wall mean nothing and that Westeros needs to unite-like, 10 years ago! 👀
This episode is 🔥!
I love finding new people watching this show. This is one of my favorite episodes of televison ever, I found you watching Twilight reactions and everything you've been reacting too since has been great.
glad to be here!
ETA: I realized my old profile picture while gorgeous was a spoiler for the show so I changed it to my favorite moment in the show!
One of my favorite episodes “King Crow”🥲✨
Major, Hardhome was the heat. It was a banger. I loved your reaction. The white walkers are no joke. Yes, you did see their King and his Captains. He was watching John Snow and studying his ways. He seemed impressed that John killed one of his captains. He called for reinforcements and was ready to come down and finish the job himself. Man it’s sick how the night king can Merck all of those folks and than add them to his army by raising the dead. Thank you for the great reactions. Man I would have jumped in the water a long time ago and swam my ass off. They’d probably still see me swimming today. 😂🤣. Man that night king is scary. Probably folks would act right in the hood if he was out creeping around the way…lol Keep them coming Major. Much love brother. Don’t let the night king get you. Tyrion meeting Dani was priceless. He was pushing her buttons a bit but I feel that he was feeling her out to see what her intentions for him were. He did vouch for Jorah and saved him from Dani possibly killing him. Tormund is gangster. Hated to see that his people were skeptical and dragged their feet in getting out of there. Crazy how so many were caught behind the gates and the eerie silence of death came so quickly…blue eyes everywhere.
I LOVE YOU!!! I know exactly how you feel!!! You are by far the best reactor out… I love your input and thoughts. Hardhome is def a badass episode. Put your seatbelt on buddy. Sending love as always
Literally one of my favorite episodes! At this point I’m rewatching all my favorites with you 😂
I loved how you were thinking of your conflict with having empathy for cersi. Just shows that you have a sould and while shes awful, shes still a person. Ur very entertaining and thoughtful
As far as what Tyrion said about Varys being responsible for Dani’s survival….
Tyrion wasnt stating but speculating. I think at this point it’s better for the audience to speculate whether or not that’s possible/likely based on what we know about Varys and his motivations at this point.
The books do confirm that Varys was behind the rescue of Dany and her brother, along with Illyrio in Pentos.
Also too about Theon giving the candle to Ramsey, Theon was probably afraid that the whole candle thing was a test made up by Ramsey to test or trick him; just like Ramsey first did to him in Winterfell when he pretended to bust Theon out.
Been waiting for you to get to this Major... Hardhome the desolate landscape the evacuation "we're leaving too many behind" and then the dogs start going beserk.. this is where you see just how deadly the Night King and the army of the dead are!! Killing and turning Thousands in seconds..so much to talk about but the fight between Jon and the White Walker you see just how powerful their weapons are normal steel just shatters upon touching the ice swords!! But you were right Jon grabbed longclaw and the sound of the valerian steel blade blocking the ice sword is so sweet as is the look of shock on the Walkers face!! But that ending the stare between Jon and the Night King he saw him kill the walker and i think senses theres something different about Jon... so shows him just what he's dealing with he raises his arms and a few seconds later all the dead open their eyes and stand up another few thousand soldiers for his army and all Jon can do is stare in disbelief...
Major family, have I got a story to tell. So Thursday last week I nip out to Covent Garden (Central London which I'm sure you all know) to grab my lunch. I'm standing at the checkout paying for my salad and a man is standing next to me waiting for his turn to pay. I turn to glance at him, then do the most comedic double take ever because I'm standing next to MF JON SNOW (aka Kit Harrington of course). My eyes nearly popped out of their sockets. He looked up at me (because I was staring like an idiot) and as soon as I saw those eyes I knew it was him, after having recently watched Major Reacts of course. In shock I left the shop, hung around to watch him leave just to confirm I wasn't imagining it but sure enough I was 99.9 percent convinced. After hyperventilating over the phone to my husband and calling most of my friends to scream at them down the phone, I checked online to see if he was doing any filming in London. Sure enough I found out he was appearing in a play just round the corner from where I work (Henry V). I had absolutely no idea. I am still reliving it, wishing I had said something, anything, just a 'I think you're great' but how do you prepare for such a thing? Urgh, I'm so mad at myself but the fact that I shared air with this man is enough for me.
Was looking forward to this episode and you did not disappoint! Glad you’re smashing through these so quickly! Let’s go!!!
"Oh my sweet summer child what do you know about fear? Fear is for the winter when the snows fall a hundred feet deep and the ice wind comes howling out of the north. Fear is for the long night, when the sun hides its face for years at a time, and little children are born and live and die all in darkness...." 🥶 What the second half of five does best is portraying that feeling of airtight hopelesness. It's demoralizing but addictive at the same time. Hardhome is nuts!
The leaders of the white walkers are more known as The Others in the books. They are a type of humanoids rather than dead people as portrayed in the show, and the Night’s King (totally different from the Night King on the show) was actually the 13th lord commander of the Night’s Watch and he married a pale woman with blue eyes, possible a woman of the Others who had a great influence on him, basically a toxic ass relationship because he proclaimed himself the Night’s King and started to sacrifice people to the Others and turning them into Wights (White Walkers in the show), using brothers of the Night’s watch as his personal army which led to his downfall and was defeated by a few Kings of Westeros, one of them Brandon The Breaker. He had a 13 year rule before falling.
I hope you get the chance to read the books once you are done with the show!
It’s pronounced ‘whites’ muffin 😂 It tickles me and takes a little pieces of my soul. Also the way you ride for Jon is LEGEND! #TeamSnow that’s Major! Lastly, the look on your face when you realized the Night King was raising the dead…MAJOR
Great reaction fam
FINALLY 5x8! 👏🏻👏🏻
Jorah is a rider son. We should all wish to have a friend like him.
One of the best episodes of the entire series.
Best react ever on hardhome
Just started watching you a few weeks ago. You're easily one of the best UA-cam reactors that I've seen. Not clowning the other ones because I like to sit back and take everything in as I'm watching it. But you're insight, energy, and constant reflection on how you feel about watch you're watching is awesome my friend. Can't wait for all of us to start on house of the dragon.
Man, I like how emotional you react 👌this is worth to smash the like Button!! I really enjoy your videos. Keep it up. Greetings from Germany.
I appreciate your unbiased compassion
Lol. “That scary lady’s scary as hell man.” 😄 The Nurse Ratchet character from that movie must’ve been the inspiration this actress used to get the right creepy demeanor…
Backstroking ishing your pants bro..XD you have me dying Major.
11:40 Septa Unella. And, Tywin 's words ring: " I don't distrust you because you're a woman, I distrust you because you're not as smart as you think you are"
Breaking the Wheel: She simply means to bring a new order, wiping out the old notions and the way of rulling.
The wheel is the metaphorical cycle of power - the peasants are being crushed by the feuds between the houses trying to be on top of the wheel.
So by saying she wants to break the wheel, she’s saying that she wants to institute a stable regime that cares about the people that serve it.
That's one way to spin it.but we know she likes killing anyone who opposes her.
I always thought it sounded like she was going to break the wheel to ensure that only Targaryans would rule the kingdoms forever. Sounds a bit too much like her father.
I loved your reaction to this episode Major. I can't wait to see your reactions to the rest of this season.
Can’t wait for these videos season six is gonna be mega can’t wait to watch with U hope you and your family are all good🇬🇧✌️
Thanks United ✊🏽
Fun fact about the giant. His name is Wun-Wun which is a nod to One-one (11) of the nfl giants
That sound when Longclaw stops white walker ice sword.
Season 1, when Arya was stuck in the dragon bone crypts. She heard two men speaking about a war between the lion and the wolf and she didn’t see them but said that ‘one was fat’.
It was Varys and Master Ilario. That’s how he knew Dany and Drogo were married. But Master Illario was the one that offered Dany & her brother shelter. Varys was playing both sides ☺️
yeees i’ve been waiting for you to react to this episode🥳🙌🏼 one of my absolute faves
Oh yes one of my favorite episodes. White Walkers situation was getting real.
I KNEW you'd like this one!! I LOVED watching you, too! 😊
"Dude wtf is happening they shut the gates on these people " lol luv it..enjoying your reactions bro💪

" I don't know what I would have been doing"
Looking around for your brown pants apparently 😆
the break the wheels shit, oh lord here we go.
I’m enjoying your reactions again after two years.
Been looking forward to this reaction - well done Major 👍🏼
The Night King 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 one of my fav characters lmao!!
Wish I could double, triple like ! One of my top 10 Major reactions 💕💕💕❤️❤️❤️

The production team forgot to add music over the end credits than realised it sounded better with water sound effects instead 🗡(extra chills)
Hell yea dude! Can't wait for you to get to the end of s6 already 😅😅
Bro I’ve been watching all of your reactions and I can’t wait for those videos to come out. Awesome video and Hardhome one of the best episodes. 👏🏻
