If you can find one flaw in John snow..... I'm aware there's more than one...... But maybe the biggest flaw that you can find in John snow, The one that constantly gets him in trouble. It is his complete and utter lack of tact. "I put an arrow through his heart" WTF JON!?!? Dude is alone and entirely surrounded by people who hate him. And he puts it like THAT? Smh. Plus he is constantly correcting people North of the wall who call him a Southerner. That is basic knowledge of directions. John lives South of the wall so to the wild wings hes a Southerner. I believe Qyburn's devotion to Cercei is due to her bringing him up from virtually nothing. He was an ostracized Maester who had been travelling with a ruthlezs band of sellswords and mercenaries paid by Tywin Lannister. Then left for dead at Harrenhal, and just happened to be there to help Jaime. And only because he was able to save the Mountain that Cercei found use for him. If he wasnt faithful to he he would be dead. Daenerys and Tyrion have not yet met in the books. The White Walker with the horn crown is called the Night King. ✌️
Dany wants to break the wheel only AFTER she gets the throne... probably so that NP one can unseat her or the Targaryan clan. But I think the only way that would be possible is for her to destroy ask the other Houses.
Just a note for continuity. The army of the dead has a standard (well sort of) military chain of command: The guy with the spikes on his head that raised the dead at the end of the episode is The Night King; The dead that are dressed in armor (and, oddly enough, usually ride dead horses) are the Wight Walkers; and the foot soldiers of the dead are the Wights.
This episode was amazing. The best of the season imo and one of the strongest in general. Mostly for that ending battle. I just had so many moments of "oh my god!" when I was watching. I loved how it played out. Jon was a total BA this episode, when he killed that walker, YASSSSS. Finally a good episode for him. Theon and Sansa are amazing. I love watching them together. Both of them are such phenomenal actors and I love their storyline. I can't wait for the day they get their revenge on Ramsay. Arya's storyline this episode was a bit odd to me, idk. I want it to progress faster. Tyrion and Dany are just dfsfsdfdsfsds. I am so happy they are interacting and I love their scenes together so much. I bet the actors loved finally getting to play opposite each other. Their banter is everything. Dany's line "I am going to break the wheel" was amazing. I LOVE SEEING CERSEI TORTURED. haha
This is a top 5 ep for me. The battle... damnit, this is the World of Warcraft movie they stole from us. I love the Night King's flex, demonstrating the true power of the Scour-- the army of the dead, that they claim and raise all they kill

Well this season is not my fave but next two episodes are awesome too. Plus season 6 and 7 are my faves. Alot not all but alot of bookreaders might not agree but alot of us love it!

There's a theory about the farm boy Theon killed. That they were actually his bastards sons. Valaryan steel is actually Dragonglass his melted into steel using dragon fire.

It's ok to feel sympathy for bad people when they're humiliated like cersei was. It has nothing to do with others and everything to do with our humanity.
Nah, she deserves all she gets. I've always known the main motivation for sympathy for her was what the sparrows were written to represent, falsely I might add.
Do you really think Jon was in any real danger? It's not as if the writers were going to kill him off by having him over run by a swarm of the undead. That wouldn't be very fitting for Jon to go out in that way. The whole Tyrion telling Dany not to execute Jorah was pretty lame. She banished him under penalty of death for betraying her, then he comes back and she simply banishes him again? It doesn't matter if Jorah loved her and seems to be devoted to her. She should have executed him on the spot; that would have sent a message that if you betray your ruler, you forfeit your life. But I guess Jorah wants to die, because now he wants to go back AGAIN. GoT has some brilliant writing, but this is really weak.
The "why now" is a problem with the writing in these last few seasons: it's just a dramatic coincidence. It is still a helluva episode. But it is a sign of things to come - the show starts to lean towards the dramatic effect, with the patient storytelling gradually losing ground to the cinematic.
@@didinau Its about the way these scenes are executed. Dont get me wrong hardhome is still one of my favourite episodes on the show, but you still see the shift here. Tbh i think you can start to see it creep in during season 4, especially 5. That along with running out of source material or just choosing not to include certain book only plotlines it what starts derailing the whole thing

I like how they subtly evoke the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, with the four White Walkers on horseback up on the cliff.
"Gather the elders and let's talk" is still one of the best lines after beating the lord of bones to death. Tormund is my fav wildling!
