I love how this feels like someone confronting a villain driven on revenge because he’s been wronged but he’s become ironically an even worse tyrant than the one who wronged him.
Damn, its incredible how if you found one of them, you end up founding and liking some of thoose others exact same bands🤣 And im not complaining at all, they are amazing! By the way, you can add Shayfer James, Will Wood, Aurelio Voltaire and The Cog Is Dead there
The more I hear this song the more I understand...Thank you so much. I'm over 60 and I used to have my Moody Blues and a few others I could go to that spoke in honesty it's so nice to see this new group of musicians that dig into the soul
I would sell my actual thumbs to hear the instrumental by itself. Not that I don't love the vocals- they're incredible. But especially the moment the brass is incorporated- blows me away. The return of the piano motif shakes me every time.
"Stating that justice should favor you, due to the list of wicked things you witnessed other people do." This line is SO RAW! It's *so raw.* and so fitting for so much that happens in the world
holy crap, I haven't listened to your music in a while but this came on in youtube's randomized song list and I'm so glad it did. Pretty and haunting in the best ways; I love the vocals in this one! I gotta listen to all the songs in this play one day.
Been trying to figure out the plot of the musical through these songs, and I think I understand this song by itself but when I try to piece it together with the other songs I can't figure it out
Dudeyoukickedmy sandwich on Facebook there is a fan theory page called the Cage if you wanted to see what people have figured out so far. Otherwise, the graphic novel will be out next year :)
This song is so hauntingly beautiful and it really makes me thinks of different things that's happened between certain people in my life. This song has given me a sense of peace when I really needed it, when I listen to it I can let go of the anger and pain I feel. This song is so amazing that I don't think I can do it just no matter how much I praise it. ❤️
I hope one day that you release physical copies of your music (CDs are my preference) and that I can cherish them in my hands, for as long as I still have the ability to hear your hauntingly perfect art. 🎶🎵💜 Xx
True! Like I could see this being an opening number to a a part two of a movie, where like the villain has conquered another kingdom and the one speaking to the villain is the queen of the kingdom he’s taken and she’s confronting him on his action before he orders her execution. That’s the image I’m getting from this.

@@ohnhai I wouldn’t say irredeemable, a smart aleck? Yes. I’d like to point out he at least didn’t run away from debates like Harris and unlike Harris can get through multiple interviews without having a meltdown. Like I admit, Trump is deeply flawed and can be cocky, but I would rather vote trump any day than trust Harris with looking after our country. He may be flawed, but at least he won’t burn our country to the ground through sheer ignorance. Like all she spent every interview saying is “oh Trump is guilty of this and Trump is guilty of that!” Like she has offered zero solutions to any problems in our country during debates or interviews.

The Crane Wives, PoorMansPoison and now Dirt Poor Robins. All pretty damn great and underrated bands, wonderful work!

Oh actually if I remember correctly, I think I heard one of The Crane Wives’s songs
Perhaps the most talented band I have ever had the joy of hearing. Blown away each and every time

Dirt Poor Robins my sister found you and introduced me a little bit ago and I have been so so thankful!

Ikr! The instrumental and general sound design of each song is aways so breath taking!
I love how the short piano cues start out cruel and turn into something beautiful, sort of like this song.
First time hearing a Dirt Poor Robins song that isn't Great Vacation. I'm really glad I decided to go farther
That was the first one I ever heard too! Came on Pandora and immediately made me stop what I was doing. Never looked back since, haha

Very true
This band is soooo underrated...
this song is gorgeous. the last line of the chorus gives me chills every time without fail, your voice is ridiculous
I'm always so struck by the lyrical excellence of this music, love this song especially
This is one of my favorite songs by you guys. The sheer emotion of the gradual crescendo is breathtaking to listen to each time.

And again I am completely blown away - just when I thought I'd found my "favourite" song of yours. Amazing.
it scares me how true this is

The song reminds me of the Ziggurat levels in Little Big Planet 3

I'm so excited for the third act!
applying this song to the protests in Charlottesville and other similar situations gives a great perspective on reality.
Also this song has a shit-ton of depth to it

Is there any hope of a 3 cd bundle of all the Acts together?

I read in a different comment that a graphic novel is out (or should be out as it's been a year). What's the name and author of it?
Clockmaster Eris I am the author of this novel that doesn’t yet exist 😂
