So, I'm in a literature seminar where the focus is "revenge, vengeance and justice in literature" and I jokingly told my professor he got this song stuck in my head. So he asked me to send it to him. So now you know what's in my head when we're having our class discussions on hamlet and also my prof will never know peace from me.
I honestly would kill just to have sheet music for Justice. Arranging the harmonies on the chorus is so difficult as someone with terrible relative pitch. Absolutely beautiful song!
Agreed! Sheet music would be so awesome! I just figured out how the beginning is played, but that is isolated piano... I loose all sense of pitch as soon as vocals and other instruments join in:/
Something cool I noticed, at least if I’ve got the story right: In the first verse, the the start even, our lady says she’s never late and always has to wait on others to get things done. But in the next verse, she says that her death was someone else’s fault for not helping her when she was already late for her show. You can see the flaw in her logic even if she hasn’t noticed it herself :D

Completely unrelated but you guys have the best lower brass section especially in seaward suffragets and we forgot we were human especially the trombone i imagine bass trombone, like dam the way the trombones split the horn just has such great tone

I wish Woe to Me was longer😭😭 the message of (how understand to mean any way) truly seeing just how crooked our hearts can be, that our harm towards others cannot be undone, it's cosmic. We all deserve judgement.
This song alongside with Irony near damn give me an existential crisis every time I listen. Deadass I don't even listen to Irony anymore because I feel extremely personally called out every time. Maybe I should listen to it every day.

Sorry if I´m being annoying, but I just wanted to say that this and "Irony" really remind me of the character Goro Akechi from Persona 5, it just seems to fit him very well. Of course I´m sure the songs have no intentional relation to Persona 5, just thought it was neat that the songs from my favorite band remind me of a character from my favorite game ^^

Are the lines "I left his shop" through "If I could have found an owner to pay" in Justice referencing the end of Solemn Dream? I'm pretty sure it is, but I don't know for sure
Katie, did you know the whole production is just that? If I remember correctly the albums tell stories like a play. Come to think about it I believe it actually is a play. I love when people connect the lyrics to the tale that they tell as it is something I enjoy as well.

Christ wouldn’t know what they meant Guy showed me a dictionary. Carried that dictionary all over hell with him. He’d look in it while he’s pulled up gettin’ his pie an’ coffee.” 😄
