If your planning to go this time of year, most of the beaches are pretty empty since summer is over. But yes, I just like to head west off the seawall and start checking the different beach entrances to see which one has less people.
Man I love surf fishing so my daughter can play on beach as well but I never catch anything but whiting and catfish

Fishing will be better in June! Different species too. Speckled trout,redfish, and tons of sharks all over the surf!
