same thing here. have had many guitars. i set them up myself, i swap my pickups, hardware, etc. my girlfriend got me my first floyd guitar as a christmans present which is a good thing, i may have never bought one otherwise. turns out i really like it. couple of times i used the fine tuners to tune it, now it is probably time to use the actual tuners. is there a rule to when to use the fine tuners, and when it is time do a tuning as you have done in the video?

Every other video on this subject literally avoided explaining to me how to tune this, and only told me how to change all the strings. Thank you for being the first to understand what I ask "how to tune a floyd rose," I'm not asking how to replace every single string.
This was perfect. I have watched like 10 different Floyd videos which made me no sense at all. This was straight forward and got my new guitar tuned the way i wanted. Thanks a lot man

Dude, this is, by far, the best instructional video on how to tune your Floyd Rose that I have come across. Man, I don't understand why people have to complicate this process so much. One guy, in spite of having a title that said "how to tune your Floyd Rose" spent the majority of his "instructional" video telling you why he doesn't like the Floyd Rose and the disadvantageous of having one on your guitar! If his video had been properly titled, for example, "my thoughts on why you shouldn't own a Floyd Rose," I would have never clicked on his bloody video! But this video was fantastic.... A direct and true instructional video! I've been playing guitar for almost 45 years, and in all that time, I have never owned a Floyd Rose. So, since I never owned one, I never had the need to be educated on one. But now, all of a sudden, I find myself owning two guitars that are equipped with a Floyd Rose. The time finally came! This video was amazingly simple and clear. It's totally worth a like and a sub! Thanks, brother!
