Yo, straight up, this podcast episode has both had ny ribs hurting from laughter _and_ my heart moved to tears. This is incredible
this coulda been a conversation behind closed doors but im glad yall made it public, thanks.
I like Louis CK's house. It's a real house with stuff laying everywhere.
I thought that was his office ha
Nice Emmy's on the shelf
It’s a house with character
I walked in, I said, “wow i like this house.”
@@wills242 Do you know know how Houses work?
I love how Louis doesn’t give a fuck and just tosses the Emmy’s and the Oscar up on the dresser like they’re little league trophys.
Emmys and Grammy? you mean
what he supposed to do with them?

Glad this is still getting lots of views! The ultimate history-comedy pod with two of the funniest guys in the game, you laugh and learn at the same time!!
I’ve never seen Matt’s stand up but he might be the funniest one in this room
I would have listened to them talk about every president for the next 4 hours. Not sure what it is about this formula. 2 funny comedians. Talking about history. And the kicker is they actually know what they're talking about.
Legit if they went through all of them it'd be top tier content
Man whata diss on Matt lol three comedians
@@Goldiegirl6240 for sure 3. Matt is the man.
I was half hoping they'd just turn around and start again, be like, "Alright, so Homo Habilis... mad big dick energy, huge fucking heads." and go from there.
2 comics 1 Shaman
I thought they were joking about this being a podcast about the presidents. Lol
There’s no jokes here. Completely serious.
They really nailed that bit.
hopefully louis cranks one out on the patreon
Bad news, didn’t stick for the paytch

My boy flexing the ‘Tism right at the start of the episode 💪🏽 for the dawgs
i was about to ask, is this Shane or Louis's place.
Then i saw the Emmys and realized this is from an alternate reality where Shane doesnt get cancelled, succeeds at SNL, gets his own show, and wins a couple of awards.
Nice.
I was kinda hoping that one day there’d be a club where all of the cancelled people get together and create a reality where people can be funny again, and here it is!
@@teledoinkNext guest will be Carlos Mencia. 🤣
Well...About that.
Dude Matt and Shane’s secret podcast is the number one patreon channel…they make from $300,000 to $500,000 a month. This is Louis CK’s house but now Matt and Shane are making more money than anyone on patreon, which is crazy. Shout out to the old listeners
Louis vindicated matt saying he also reads audio books
"reads audio books"
Yep. A book you read with your ears. Kinda like braille books you read with your fingers, or dong
The only dudes who would ever bring Louis C.K. on their podcast and specifically focus the podcast around American fucking history lmfao (and make it great btw, I was pissed when it ended)
As Kevin Brennan says, Louis is only going on podcasts with a topical theme like movies or history. Hence, List & Gillis. He’s not gonna do the heart to heart crap about his past
Yeah I don’t see him doing LOS Any time soon
I could see Nick Mullen pulling some shit like that. Makes sense that they're bros
@@bmcjr42 I respect him even more know... Who wants to talk about themselves be it good or bad...
Not to mention he spent the first seven years of his life in Mexico and didn’t even speak English until his family moved back to the us. I wish these guys did an entire series about this! It’s so interesting, especially coming from them:) “what play was he watching ? Hamilton, he got shot and was like THANK GOD I don’t have to pretend to like it anymore!” 😂😭🤣
10:24 Matt has finally won the listening/read conflict
Love how Louis has 2 Emmy Awards & a Grammy just casually lying around the room like how I had my elementary school basketball and baseball trophies back in the day. 🤣
I think I learned more from this podcast than all 12 years of my crappy public education. And it was fun…
I was thinking it would have been much more interesting listening to these guys than most of my history teachers combined lol
Not really. You won't remember most of this x number of years from when you were in grade school.
The irony is your public education was crappy because of guys like these and their ideology. They love removing funding from public education to help pay their super rich oil buddies. What a group of good guys right?
"Hey, Mr. C.K. ! I can name all the presidents. Wanna see???"
Hahah

@Olaka u drinking lysol again?

25:13 Shane touching Louis's shoe is good stuff.
dude i was howling 😭😭😂😂
If you're here in 2024 just before the election keep going. All four parts are awesome, especially when Louis starts getting philosophical about the cycle we're in.
This series was awesome.
Louis told that Nixon story as if it was an allegory for his own experience.
Clearly why he mentions it. It's why Shane laughs at the end of it, more of a laugh of understanding.
Or it was just an interesting story.

Maybe the best episode of any podcast ever. It’s nice to have CK back, even if for just an hour or so. Thanks guys!
I know this is an older video, but thanks a lot for these. They were perfect to watch and kept me entertained while dealing with a pancreatitis episode in the hospital. So thank you, you probably don't know how much I appreciate these.
Damn, that was really good. I kept wishing they refrained from skipping ahead and cutting it short, and just took three hours to humorously cover each president.
