I bought a 22 CX9. I liked the Telluride styling but the stupid stop/start is a deal breaker. Along with engine issues they have. The CX9 is built in Japan and those vehicles r the best quality.
Boat races on the Columbia river there for many years. Remember when you later came to Spokane at KXLY. The CX-70 when released appears to be a big upgrade, and no doubt a big price jump as well.
Another solid, well crafted presentation. Thanks Dave. Been mulling over whether a CX-5 or CX-9 is ideal for our situation and found this video. As a parent, looking for a nice ride that balances utility and style, I think it would be interesting to get an expert comparison from your perspective on either of these two models vs each other or their competitors. Again. 👍🏼
I was just thinking of the cx9. IMO, it need the following, 1. A more rugged version - lots of people are into exploring the outdoors, so small wheel with talles tires would be nice. Also that trunk rake is too sloping, a more squarerish would make it more practical. Don't get me wrong, the cx9 looks good, but is too city like. 2. Hybrid - my current cx5 get like 20 average since I spend lots time in SoCal traffic and I do travel south the border were there are no freeways and border wait of up-to 4 hours. 3. More front storage - too much space being waste and by that knob which you get use to it, I still prefer a regular touch screen. Also I tend to carry lots of things in front like snacks and my wife purse. 4. Better gouges- a more colorful digital customizable screen that gets rids of the analog speedometer that waste space.
@@Luciano-IL Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Subaru all have touchscreens infotainment and some have Wireless Carplay/Android Auto meanwhile Mazda says its safer to use the rotary knob infotainment, thats nonsense. Mazda will always be the 4th or 5th best Japanese automaker. Does Mazda even sell in North America hybrids or pickup trucks?.......
@@crow_2k11beatsbydre8 I'm speaking of reliability, styling and just fact that Hyundai/Kia are throw away cars. My motherN law has a Kia I would never say it to her buts absolutely junk. All kinds of dash lights are on and a Kia dealership replaced the motor because of internal breakdown. The interior has stains that won't come out, etc etc They are junk. I don't care about infotainment. If you like sitting in your driveway not able to go anywhere because it wont start then have fun with your infotainment. JUNK and tell anybody buys Kia/Hyundai You've been warned ⚠️

I had a 2018 signature. Best vehicle I have ever had.
Still love my 2017 CX-9 Signature!
Your channel is the first car review channel I saw and subscribed to. I’ve always liked the interiors of Mazda.
Thanks for the sub!

I have been here since you were on TFL. I wish you could do more ORV park reviews. Thanks for all you do Dave!

I lived in the tri-cities for about 5 years, this video brings back some memories
Good morning!
Nice area to stop by while heading to Vancouver, BC. There is an outstanding Veterans Memorial dedicated to Armed Forces Branch.
I was just thinking of the cx9.

I'll take the Mazda over a Kia any day.
Atleast KIA/Hyundai have infotainment systems you can physically touch, Mazda is outdated with a rotary knob infotainment system........
@@crow_2k11beatsbydre8 🙄you are not so smart. go buy a tablet on wheels......crow......

Beautiful vehicle
I’m really sold on Mazda. But, I’d like to try the Kia Telluride out
Dude, no kidding... who knew his background, not me. And he sure does have the voice and personality for TV & radio too.
I thought they were going to redesign this Mazda for 2023 ?
the CX-90 is coming out soon.
Mazda all the way
Hood pop rod? come on!!!!!!
Weatherman Driver 😂
The 3rd row is trash but the SUV is very, very good as a 5-seater. But bad MPG compared to the V6 competitors.
Here on Long Island EVERYONES got a Mazda and Rav4's. Which is why I don't want one.
You missed the best part, the driving.

This should not be a 3 row suv, even kids would be cramped in that ridiculous 3rd row
Dave is aging like fine wine… he looks better than the sexy new Mazda
Like a fine bottle of wine, always one of the Sexiest Man... Bouilla!!!
Why can't they make a spacious two row SUV? Third row is taking up space
