    Bought a 2023 CX9 Carbon about a month ago and love it. I also kept my 2007 CX7 (just couldn’t part with it)!

    I hope Mazda will keep this model CX-9 and the CX-5 in the Asian market for a while. I still love these two previous model for an affordable price but of course the new upgraded CX-90 and CX-60 are in a different level.

    It’s a shame that Mazda has dropped the CX9 as for families on a budget it was a great package. In Oz 🇦🇺 we still have the FWD entry model for those that can’t afford top spec. We also get the CX8 which might fill a gap since. I’ve been a loyal fan of Mazda since 1981 but this step up in the family SUV range will suffer for those that can’t afford the pov pak.

    When will production end & what are the current discounts/incentives on it? Saw they have 0% for 36 months but I’d like it for 60 months( Maybe April it jumps to 60 months?).

    Saw an older video of yours, demonstrating the hands free opening of the liftgate. Has anyone ever had a problem where they do the kick, open the gate, and then while leaning into the back to either place something down, or get something out - they INADVERTANTLY move there feet (which are on the ground, right behind the rear bumper) in such a way, that causes the liftgate to start coming back down on them?

    • @JSS
      @JSS  Рік тому

      I’ve never heard of that, and think it would be hard to position your feet that far under while standing behind the bumper.

    I am one who rarely says this anymore, but after seeing your posts on the CX-90 I think that it is time to move on from the CX-9. While the outgoing CX-9 was a very capable vehicle, it appears as though the improvements on the CX-90 cannot be ignored.

    Hi Jonathan, I'm currently looking to purchase this vehicle (leasing) but I'm a little bit hesitant to move forward since the sales rep told me I would NOT have any free services except for one free oil change, and I can only take it for services at their center otherwise my warranty would be void. Is that true, or it's only for that dealership? Also, is that standard for all dealerships when leasing? What would be your best advice to move forward with the purchase?

      @@ravindersingh4494 If you always have your foot in the turbo you are never going to get good mileage. If you drive it like a sports car you’re going to get crappy mileage. Bottom line just have fun and drive it! #MazdaMakesAmazingVehicles

    I leased this model for my wife, and we are so happy!. Smooth, luxury, and quiet. Yes, we are missing the sensors, but overall, the design is better than the cx-90.

    All they need for CX9 to take off is to have a hybrid version and the bench seat option at all trims. It will take CX-90 a long time to gain trust from people.

    Gday Jono: the range-topping cx9 with AWD and sexy paint is around $81k. The range topping cx90 with mild hybrid is a tick under $101k. Not sure there will a an abundance of Mazda buyers around who will be prepared to make a $20k leap up into 6 figure territory for their next 3 row model. Will it be attractive enough to coax eurobadge fans down from the $120-$140k mark? Dunno… we watch and wait. Me? Cx90 is way too big for my needs but I’m happy to wait and see what 2025 looks like across the range.
