I think she and her sister should have stayed together for another album. I think they assumed they reached their peak together and decided to part ways. And with Halle she slowed down on the music to do her movies while Chloe was trying to do a movie, tv show and album drop/tour.
With Ungodly Hour, their image was perfectly fine. It was adult, very feminine, and it gave ethereal “we are the muses” vibes. I think their roll out was great and their VMA performance was a big deal. Their rollout needed more, im talking more marketing. Give me the merch, more interviews, collabs with big names. Doja cat had that breakout song and soon after we saw her collab with the weekend. MAKE IT HAPPEN give the ladies their flowers!!!!!!!

I think people were perplexed about this rollout. Should've let Sza and Summer do the sad stuff and she Should've did the fun r&b stuff. Chloe wanting to have a highly sexualized image isn't necessarily a problem, it's just not her. And you can tell because it comes off as forced and over exaggerated. She's trying to hard to fit into a certain image instead of just being her. I agree also on her not having any clear musical direction and doing too much, too fast.
It’s a good album definitely not a bad one but it doesn’t flow. Needed more arrangement of the tracks. Wasn’t a fan of the song you liked on the album. Exactly. Let's not forget she went viral off of the Buss It Challenge. Columbia seen the praise she got off of that and tried to capitalize off of it by marketing and pushing her as this sex symbol. It could be, just not for her 1st album. No. Should have been a more uplifting title for her debut. Or at least self-titled simply "Chloe" would've been fine.
In Pieces didn't have good music. Ungodly Hour was a good album that I still listen to. I'm confused as to what happened with this album. I want her back with her sister.
Listen this young woman is very oversexualized and not even Beyoncé was like this until damn near her 40s. It is overshadowing her music and that is a shame bc this young lady can sing. Hopefully she finds an audience base and connects with them bc right now she is only connecting with her body. We done seen enough but in the media and we want something different. Her voice is what makes her unique not her being oversexualized. Hopefully her team can help her get it together bc if not then she always go back to making music with her sister.
If that's all there was to it then why do other female artist get away with being sexual and are still successful? There are different markets, people don't all think & consume the same. Her base id different from Cardi B's base or whoever. If lil Wayne put out a gospel album I don't think it would sell, but Kanye does it and it does numbers.
Because people *want* her to be successful and know she is capable of great work, but the material she's producing doesn't reflect those gifts. So everyones wondering "why is this monumental talent failing to connect with a larger audience?"
@@todd6900 Her album showcased great vocals, great production, and songs written by the same writers who have written multiple hits for major artists. Cheatback, Worried, How Does it Feel, and Body Do are hits if it was any other artist singing them, but because it's Chloe ya'll nitpick. She has uptempo and midtempo songs as well as ballads. The only thing the album really lacked was cohesion and the tracks could have been re-arranged so that it flowed smoother. What would you have liked to hear from her? I'm genuinely curious.
Serious question: Do you think she wanted to debut at #119? I'm guessing not. Most of her criticism isn't "hate". She's not getting what she wants and people are telling her what she needs to do to entertain them, she's a entertainer. Nobody's forcing her to do anything.

I totally agree.. i like her album but it looks like shes mini beyonce
She should have kept the directions she was going in the album seem like it was uplifting and then in pieces is more sad.
They also took too long
In Pieces didn't have good music. Ungodly Hour was a good album that I still listen to. I'm confused as to what happened with this album. I want her back with her sister.
Cuz y’all didn’t bought it 🤷🏽♀️
But here to talk about it 🤔
Everybody reviews albums and this the reality of hers
@@yanadanda1760 still could’ve bought it.. just excuses
@@jinxheath2868 Why would someone buy an album they don't like?
Listen this young woman is very oversexualized and not even Beyoncé was like this until damn near her 40s. It is overshadowing her music and that is a shame bc this young lady can sing. Hopefully she finds an audience base and connects with them bc right now she is only connecting with her body. We done seen enough but in the media and we want something different. Her voice is what makes her unique not her being oversexualized. Hopefully her team can help her get it together bc if not then she always go back to making music with her sister.
Beyonce always was sexualized. Singing about sleeping with someone else's man at 15
The thing about music nowadays is you do t have to pay for it. Y’all tell people to love their bodies but once they do y’all start shaming them
stop it. loving your body does not mean spreading eagle and tapping your chocha. less is definitely more. her trained amazing vocals don't need that.
For her not to be as successful as y’all think she should be she sure stays on your minds
The irony right? And this just one platform. She's an everyday topic on twitter.
@@r.johnson1170 Why do you think she sold 10,000 albums? It's easy to argue why you like something, it's different when trying understand why something wasn't like by a lot of others. The "because it's Chloe" isn't a good argument because every artist have haters and no artist resonates with everyone.
I don’t agree with you. I do think she is over sexualized but her album is fire. Worried, told you and a few others are definitely hits. I think you should actually listen to it. It seems you named the ones she put out and are judging the entire album by those. Either way, thanks for sharing your opinion ❤
I listened to the entire album 3 times. 😂 My opinion still stands, but we can agree to disagree. Thanks for watching!
If her album was so “fire “then why did it flop so hard and only sell 10k????
People acting like we hating on chloe but we see her going the coi route where you just shake your body and get booked but the music is trash
Her album didnt flop tho
Y'all kill me calling artists
FLOPS when y'all couldn't sell ice to the citizens of the Sahara Desert. Simmer down! Y'all be funny on the internet.
It flopped cause y'all didn't buy her shit I mean that's it point blank
Lol why buy an album we don't like? Most of the tracks are meh.
No… the industry power people are determined to keep Chris Brown down. They punished Chloe for her collaboration with CB.
So sick of you kids talking about someone being too sexy. Sex is HOT. It sells! Most importantly, she's exploring. How is this album a flop? Grow with your artist. Let the artist grow with you.
You sound like a creepy old man
