I think chloe learned alot from this rollout. Even from the negative criticism, I think she is taking something from it. She listens and she is hungry for this. Love this album and cannot wait to see what the next era will bring as her artistry develops!
I love the album and I have to say I wasn't surprised at all that it was this good. All the different singles was Chloe's way of testing the waters to see what her audience was interested in. Although, I expect different sounds from Chloe because she loves music of all types so much. I couldn't imagine her choosing just one genre to stick to. I love that about her. I love that we get R&B, pop, jazz, hiphop etc and at times in one song LOL! It's what makes her unique. Great reaction!! new sub.

So this album is based on her heartbreak with her ex Rapper Gunna. These song really going into details about her hardship and depression. In my opinion she could be another queen of breakup songs like Taylor Swift. I really do like the songs Pray It Away and Cheatback. Her rap flow be so amazing specially in the songs like Have Mercy, Surprise and Treat Me. Plus her talking at the beginning of the songs is like a Interlude on the album.....What confused me is she got a lot of gripe about working with Chris Brown but he work with other well-known A-List female artists and nobody have a problem with it. I definitely put her in the same lane as H.E.R and Jazmine Sullivan type of feel good music. FUN FACT: Chloë original album supposed to be pop/fun but at the last minute she change it so the fans can really feel her when it comes to the lyrics.

Sure if ppl still a way about chris that is fine by me but why did chloe get major backlash when HER, ella mai, jhene aiko, sevyn streeter, etc. have all made songs with him (multiple at that). Its like they hold chloe to diff standards
Im also glad she steered away from a straight pop/ fun album. That’s def what the singles were giving and I connected way more with this music vs. her singles

This is definitely confusing situation that Chloë is going through because all these amazing female artist that Chris collab with didn't to get any criticism or backlash.... They were mainly praise.

Absolutely! I think i got a way better idea of her sound through this body of work and I’m glad we got to see that. The singles were definitely chasing hits and didn’t really have a musical relationship to one another except for maybe Suprise and FTN. I think chloe did great with her album. Ppl are already nit picking but it’s a debut album! She may not have it all figured out yet but the only way is up

She’s literally giving a lot of what people complain that music is lacking these days, i just think she has to fine tune it. I've decided that I like her singing, for the most part. HOWEVER, I didn't like the visual personality that she slapped on this album. The visuals didn't match to me, which made things akward.... she could take a regular toddler's song, and somehow still throw so much "forced" sexual energy the whole way through. It boggles my mind. It's the feeling you'd get if you heard pop music at a funeral. You're going to need another album to reset my ears. Il
I'm sorry but Chole could've just pass on this album because she sounds the same in each song and has the same beat drum in every song ...I'm very disappointed in Chole debut album because it very mediocre at best and redundant on constant replay .
