Plus side of the rework on healing grenades, they have less time but give you the same effectiveness as a well of radiance during that time period. If you have enough people on solar healing grandest then you don't need wells. Did a full master crota run without a single warlocks, just kept pelting healing grenades at the ground
@xThat1Guyxx nope, just had hunter use tractor with foetracer (since foe trace let's you get to essentially x5 surge , that then stacks with boot surge, and activity surge. Hunter hit about 4 mil by the end, using double fusion, also the hunter used star eaters at the start, then after super swapped. Had 1 gathering storm hunter for stun, and three solar titans for stun, with armaterian on for double healing grenades. Due to solar surge, lament was doing damage on master crota. Yes we had 1 death during first damage, and 2 deaths on second, and no deaths on third. 1 death during final stand. We dint have any deaths during the setup for damage phases. A well would of added better survivability, however the people that died, died because we dint have a grenade charge, and they messed up thier lament cycle for healing. Granted wells make things more simplistic, but if you properly utilize other survivability features in the game, then we'll is not required for any activity, yes it might become harder, but hey, fun challenge.
I'm sure if we used lumina, or bubble for more damage, it would of been a two phase, but we prioritized survivability with healing nades, and lament, over having another damage buff. Granted if we did have a well, then we would of had well run boots of the assembler, since boots now gives a 30 percent dmage increase the same as lumina, and it stacks separately from well just as lumina does. On ir yurt, we did use bubble for damage increase. And since it was solar, I ended up running blade barrage, with lumina and a cataclysmic with bait and switch. Everyone else used sleeper, besides the div person. We had two void titans, 1 solar titan using armanterium, and both hunters on solar (we could of had one hunter of void teather to further increase damage by stacking div and teather, but we were getting well past half health, so we prioritized damage on blade over teather). The void titans kept cylcing barricades for constant overshield, and one of the titans used helm, so when bubble was behind us, the ads kept running through, getting blinded, and walking away, never had a cursed thrall or knight hut us, did have a thrall at some point. We also had the solar titan pelting grenades, just in case an ad made it through.
@bloodfartmoon2765 um, yeah it's a master raid? Even with well, you always have some sort of damage booster for dps on bosses. If it wasn't for the long stationary health gate fights, you would not need all this or a well (every master raid enconuter that doesnt have a boss fight, doesnt need these extra strats to get done, hell i would argue that ir yurt, templar, and oryx doesnt need any damage boosters or well, granted they might go longer). Also other end game content like gms, trails, dungeons, etc, well and all these strats are not needed. However going in with a good strat or character setup (build) can make for quicker runs, faster encounters, easier flawless cards, etc.... So I don't really see where your point is coming from? P.S. done multiple oryx fights, and had at least 12 that I can rember where we dint have wells, nor did we use anything to boost damage or to stay alive. (Actually that's not true, did use font of might mods, back when those were still a thing, surges can stack higher that font of might, so I know oryx can still be done like that at least, most likely templar as well, will try ir yurt at some point)

Every twab I pray they nerf well and make bubble better than it so titans are the ones forced to run a class they don’t want to. I chose warlock in d2 because I used it in d1 and never excepted them to shift warlocks into the “support” class.
That's how it used to be in D1 and early D2 before Forsaken. Nah it's Hunter's turn up next. Born to gunsling and forced to shadow shot or whatever 😂
This is why I became a hunter main...
Funny cause my friend just tells me to "just run void hunter for tether." EVERY RAID EVERY GM. SAVE ME. He's a great guy but he's just so efficiency focused.
"run tether"
"Run Invis Hunter"
Literally the Same as Well half the time. If I'm lucky people will say Suspend and Lucky Pants Hunter or Star Eater Hunter
@@alster06 No one ever cares what I run on a hunter except maybe in GMs, and that's rare.
This is why I'm a hunter main to!! Very seldomly I'll play my warlock but started a Hunter and always a Hunter
Even worse when they make you go Well AND Divinity
Have fun doing damage and throwing your cool supers, I'll be standing in my well with my blue laser pointer 😔
Born to daybreak forced to well
born to chaos reach forced to well
“All I wanna see is that well”
Meanwhile the entire team inside a well getting nuked by 2 cursed thrall cause arc threat
Just plop down a Well in the worst place possible and throw the fight. Nobody will ask you to Well again.
Bro channeled all our feelings in this one...
Should’ve made the warlock have 100 intellect too 😂
im so happy well got nerfed
This is why the Warlock needs serious buffs to supers across the board. Warlocks need the most powerful supers, especially chaos reach, that way you have to make a tough choice between damage or healing/buffing.
they also need to stop absolutely butchering all the warlock exotics because people complain about them
Or you know nerf the most broken subclass for the past years...
And stop giving away our abilities to other classes.
Looking at you Titan Handheld Supernova plus big shield.
@@bragekv9937 hammer titan is more broken
@@bragekv9937 thats what im saying. They complain about everything feeling weak in comparison to well and cannot make the connection that well is just that overpowered
Warlocks mains....the story of our lives on raid day lol
And we have been called a support class because of that one super
Ive learned to embrace the well and make a cracked out ignition build that all starts with 1 single headshot from a bow
What’s the build
The hunter version of this would be
born to storm forced to nighthawk
Ever since I used my Weavewalk build on a Strand surge nightfall, my fireteam is entirely okay with me not using Well. Those Threadlings do a LOT of damage
Broodweaver is probably the highest DPS in the game right now. The super is nuts. And now the new bow's out and it'll have Hatchling Refit as one of its Catalysts for even more of those annoying little bastards. Broodweavers yeeting themselves at me in PvP have given me mild PTSD.
I’m a dedicated stasis turret lock and I keep a pack of well bitches with me so I don’t have to do it anymore 😂
Honestly, as a warlock main, I rarely switch to solar I love void so much
Titans: *Whistles innocently* *coughs* Dont forget that Dev gun okay bro?
That's cold-blooded 😂. I just wanna run arc bro 😭.
Honestly that used to be true way back when well only gave overshield and no damage bonus. Nowadays I never mind running well with starfire for example because fusions are so good and you can actually use well quite offensively.
I bet warlocks would complain if it got nerfed.
Yeah i will. It already gets 1-2 shot in crota contest
As a Titan, I felt this a little when I was constantly asked to run Thundercrash with Cuirass of the Falling Star for a minute 😅
0:32 and that the reason why many can not play destiny 2......
"Born to nova, forced to well"
*no longer*
*You think your languished cries will convince me?*
*MY TURRETS WILL BLOT OUT THE SUN.*
When he started screaming I lost it 🤣 shits so funny dude
We are born of the well, made men by the well, undone by the well.
I was titian main back in my day , avoided warlock because of well, now I embrace the well. Every now and then I fuck around with nova bomb , but when well is needed well is supplied
The gaslighting at the end is crazy 💀
If you NEED well, yall just are not ready to raid. There are raid triuphs for doing them as all members on solar, void and arc. Lemme tell you, 6 arc warlocks make kingsfall a hell of alot easier than running a well.
Lumina gives you the same damage buff with like 1 extra step so I would hope 6 sith lords could slay a dark lord 👀
Also realistically you do need well for master crota, blame bungie unless you have like 4 strand titans to keep sever up
There's also ofc Div, Tractor Cannon, Tether, that one void machine gun, regular ass supers, the list goes on
@@thethumblessn00b19 Ive often been wondering if stacking a couple rifts on his feet works just as well. Prob not but is a wonder.
Born to be the Threadling King, forced to be a Well Normie.
This hurts me on a emotional level as a warlock main
That feeling when you play wellock for 6 months straight while no Hunter wants to play void because it doesn’t do as much damage as other hunter supers…
I mean…in terms of rp warlocks are the support style while hinters have always been dps kings
I love my void hunter.
Out of all my builds, he's got the most versatility, and I've put the most effort into his armor.
Glorious.
As a Warlock, if I hear another Guardian tell me to use Well, I'm leaving.
As a hunter main I see this as an absolute win
Well with lumina and assembler >>>>>>>>>
What if we just revolted. We just “NO, fuck your well” just a solid week where no warlocks used well and we all had fun. See how them hunters like not having a well
