This is actually so damm realistic, people really are somehow using 120% brainpower to solve something as simple as double-scanning. It's honestly impressive.
Honestly not gonna lie most groups i run with we just single scan and just have the person go over when op goes down saves insignificant time but saves people needing to do more the kill shit
@@btr1011 yea some people are actually really into being the single scanner. Both ways are perfectly valid, as long as someone is ready to pick up operator and no one starts oobing I couldn't ask for more anyway.

how to do double scan :
have the operator stay on top, let the scanner finish one side; have the operator shoot open the door, let him get to the other side.
instead of jump up, crouch, pull out your ghost, uncrouch, use your melee, switch to heavy, primary, special and do an emote.
This "DARCI LOVER" (specifically the username) definitely ad clears every raid run in every raid.

I was waiting for bro to just explain what double scanning was and then he hits us with that ferociously insane combo. I don’t think I’ve ever had an LFG experience like this but I’m glad. Closest I’ve gotten is calling planets in RoN. The LFG way is the least intuitive but I’ve gotten used to it.
as someone who hasn’t touched lfgs since witch queen, but has done planets, what’s “the lfg method”

It's the current consensus because 99% of teams are gonna do it this way, and if LFG decrees it then it doesn't matter what guide you follow or what clan you come from. You're doing it this way.

I find that highly unintuitive because, for especially the left side, it's the opposite of intuitive which reads left to right, top to bottom.
When I did weekly raids with my clan I used the following which felt much more intuitive:

Alternatively, this is the layout from Fallout's raid guide video which is also intuitive but in a way that doesn't worry about verticality. Numbers are a left to right sweep, also no mirroring.

The way LFG has settled on the first of the 3 layouts is bizarre to me but I can't complain if I'm gonna be a master raider. Obtaining all the seals has placed me in many a team. Some better some worse. It's made me pretty adaptive though.

You can have scanner go out of bounds and scan both sides without switching, its what the speedrun does (plus the vending machines/showers always open for operator)

Alternatively, you could just tell op to go down when one side is done being scanned so that scanner can scan the other side.

Solos scanner is the way. The op just waits to open the door. Then the op scans. Easy mode.
You open the doors when operator goes down and you cross over. Operator needs to remember what was called on dark side.

Hehe a dude showed us, a random LFG team, some very, VERY obscure exploits in VoG. There’s a way to instantly spawn Templar right next to the flag, unshielded. I’ve yet to find anything regarding it online but it was hilarious and stupid easy, even compared to the ole one guy up solo with relic while everyone chills as a ghost till a certain time to self revive.
