I put my battery on charge probably once a week with a good quality battery charger that desulphates it. Once I fitted the volt meter and could see the condition I realised why my batteries weren't lasting as long as they should. the one I have now is 3 years old and holding up well. I’ve got 5 dogs that share the house with us. 4 are asleep on the sofas at the moment and the German Shepard that comes to work with me is asleep at my feet on the floor. The one that comes to work with me loves the cage in the van and if I don’t put her in for a couple of hours during the day over the weekend she plays up.
david mcmahon no mate. Because I heat the tank overnight it keeps his crate warm and in the summer I don’t heat the water so it keeps him cool. Why you carrying your dog inside your van? Do you think he is comfortable? Better leave him at home he will be feeling much better than closed at this small cage.
Lexiu he comes to work with me most days and is my best buddy. I let him choose if he wants to come or stop at home with our 4 other rescue dogs. He has water and a thick blanket in his cage and at this time of the year the tank is full of hot water so he’s not cold. He gets regular walks between customers which he wouldn’t if he was at home. Definitely 👍
Dont use a split charger as you will never fully charge the leisure bat. and they do not desulphate the battery, always charge the battery with a good charger if you want long life out of battery, best way have 2 batteries keep one on charge then swap over at end of day.
I put my battery on charge probably once a week with a good quality battery charger that desulphates it. Once I fitted the volt meter and could see the condition I realised why my batteries weren't lasting as long as they should. the one I have now is 3 years old and holding up well. Thanks for the great tip👍
Tip 6 go to Tenerife
david thomas best tip yet😎
Do you keep dogs in cages do you
I’ve got 5 dogs that share the house with us. 4 are asleep on the sofas at the moment and the German Shepard that comes to work with me is asleep at my feet on the floor.
Whenever we are travelling they are caged for safety. The one that comes to work with me loves the cage in the van and if I don’t put her in for a couple of hours during the day over the weekend she plays up.
Cant argue with the bible
Problem I find is windows and the floor ices up when cleaning
Lovely Jubbly that is something I always worry about 👍
Is there a hot water bottle for the dog?!!
david mcmahon no mate. Because I heat the tank overnight it keeps his crate warm and in the summer I don’t heat the water so it keeps him cool. He loves coming to work and is waiting at the door when I go out. If he is sat on the sofa when I go and doesn’t want to come I leave him at home but that’s not very often 👍
Squeaky Clean Dave They certainly let ya know what they wanna do!! Maybe I’ll start taking mine with me!! Great to hear!!
david mcmahon I would have him in the van with me but he’s so dog and cat aggressive I would be crashing the van every 5 minuets.👍
Squeaky Clean Dave Safety first Dave 😂
Where do u live dave the north pole lol
window cleaning gets very cold in Kidderminster 🤣 when I first started we had a really cold winter and I left the van unheated and it cracked the spindle in the middle of my hose reel
@@squeakycleandave1 I'm in london and never had the van freeze YET lol
window cleaning before I started using hot water I had the jets in the brush freeze up on me while I was washing a gutter. Had to put it in the footwell of the van with the heater going to defrost it so I could finish the job🥶
@@squeakycleandave1 I hate winter
R u a witness dave?
Yes mate 👍
14 years of winters ....do not use bar heaters just use an oil-filled heater ....jOB DONE
I used an oil filled rad for years until I started to heat my tank and now don't need to👍
Do you attached the oil heater to an extention lead or should I not do that
Why you carrying your dog inside your van? Do you think he is comfortable? Better leave him at home he will be feeling much better than closed at this small cage.
Lexiu he comes to work with me most days and is my best buddy. I let him choose if he wants to come or stop at home with our 4 other rescue dogs. He has water and a thick blanket in his cage and at this time of the year the tank is full of hot water so he’s not cold. He gets regular walks between customers which he wouldn’t if he was at home. So all in all he’s pretty happy but thanks for your concern.
